Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
I updated my iPhone 5S on monday night. I agree with everyone, battery life was horrible. I woke up this morning with 100% and 3 hours so far only lost 9%. with 43 minutes of usage. So it seems, that like early in this post, Siri might be indexing because my battery life has seemed to improve since I've updated.

Reply to Watch OS 2 and App Groups.
I think not, this is from the transition guide:Your extension now stores files and data on Apple Watch. Any data that is not part of your Watch app or WatchKit extension bundle must be fetched the network or from the companion iOS app running on the user’s iPhone. You cannot rely on a shared group container to exchange files with your iOS app. Fetching files involves transferring them wirelessly to Apple Watch. This is a little troublesome for those of us currently using Core Data in a shared group. Is there any stremlined way to keep a core database in sync across the parent app and extension?

Reply to Can watchOS send a local notification?
I'm afraid you're right (and yes, that's what I'm currently doing). This means I can't leverage the pedometer on the watch though, I'll still depend on counting steps on the phone in order to send notifications using that informationThere isn't a way to for the parent application to ask the watch for its pedometer data, is there? Of course the watch app can send that data to the parent app while it is active, but I'm looking for a way for the parent application to request that information even if the watch app isn't active.

App thinning concern
App Thinning and specifically On Demand Resources, sounds great but there seems to be an elephant in the room I haven't heard anyone address and that is, what about the extremely large percentage of users who don't have an always connected device? A very large percentage of iPads are not always connected to the internet, instead roaming from hotspot to hotspot, and there are even iPhone users who do the same.If your app takes advantage of On Demand Resources then all of those people will be in a bit of trouble, which means as developers we will want to avoid that risk and instead I suspect many people will not take advantage of On Demand Resources which would be a huge shame as well.Has Apple considered making the On Demand Resources work as an opt-in system for customers? In otherwords the developer uses it like intended, but the user themself has a global switch on their iOS device that indicates to the App Store that all apps should be fully downloaded, or use on demand loading.

Stuck on Verifying Apple ID
I upgraded to watchos 2 last night and after the upgrade, my watch no longer communicated with the phone. It would show apps, but none of the communications would work between Apps. So I decided to reset the app and disconnect it from the phone. Now I am trying to re-pair it and after going through the pairing process I am asked to login with my Apple ID. After I put in my password, the spinner keeps spinning and it says Verifying Apple ID.I am pretty sure I have added the UDID.What else can I do to pair the app with the phone?

Did you download to and open the mobile profile on the phone itself, I simply sent it tomyself via email? I initially ommitted this step and had similar symptoms to what you have described but now all is working well and I have managed to build directly to the watch.

Registered device allowance changed?
I added a device yesterday and thought I saw that the limit of 100 devices has been replaced by limits of 100 per type: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, etc. But I clicked on through before realizing the significance of what I was seeing and now can find no information about that, though I don't pretened to understand the new developer site structure yet.Can anyone confirm this change?

Reply to On device watchOS debugging impossible
I having the exact same problem. Again with an iPhone5.I'm just trying a full reset and setting up the watch as a new device rather than a restore from backup as previously to see if that helps, but it seems like there's something that's causing all watch-phone communications to stall and timeout. It's not just debugging installing any apps to the watch takes an age (if they install at all).

OS X 10.11 SPEED IMPROVEMENT! :)
Hello! I installed 10.11 last night, and I've noticed a considerable speed improvement when comparing it to Yosemite. I have a late 2011 Macbook Pro, and OS X 10.11 is definitely going to be worth the upgrade when the full version is released!Has anyone else noticed this difference?- Rog

Thanks for this, however, this is not the same issue. I am having to enter credentials every time I now try to download the apps that are already on the phone. These didn't get re-installed during the restore from the backup. So with over 200 apps on this device, that is a lot of password entries.

Reply to Restoring from iCloud not restoring apps
I left mine restoring overnight, and while it has been a slow process, they are all coming back. Very slowly... (I'm talking about 16 hour so far.)

Same as everyone else. Hot phone and batteri goes from 100% to 0% on under 5 hours with light use on a pretty new iPhone 6.
