No simultaneous touch from pencil and finger
Hello,I am trying to do a web application using Javascript and I would like to have a simultaneous touch with my finger and the pencil. The goal is to hold a tool (such as an eraser) with the finger and use that tool with the apple pencil. But, it seems that the default behaviour is to have an exclusive touch. I would like to know if it is possible to disable that in Javascript (as it is possible in swift) ?Thanks

Reply to iOS 14 Beta Battery drain on iPhone 6s
Same problem on iPhone 7. Crazy battery drain (need to charge it 3/4 times a day) and excessive heat even when doing basic tasks like messaging. In addition, battery stats stated that battery current capacity was 79% of max capacity and needed a replacement. I have downgraded to iOS 13.7. Battery life is back, heat disappeared and battery stats states that the capacity is 92%, which is in line with battery age (10 months). I suggest you all to downgrade, the new functions of iOS 14 are not enough to stand with such issues.

Reply to Battery dropping really fast on Watch OS4
After looking through Settings and turning off almost everything (background refresh, detect gym machine, Apple Watch faces, etc), my battery was still draining fast. I un-paired my watch and paired it back up using a backup...battery still drained fast. I would wear my 1st gen watch from a full charge at 7am and it would be at 20% by 11am. Before watchOS 4 Beta 2, I could’ve probably worn my watch from 7am until the next day 7am and not even be at 20%. Not sure what changed from last night, but today my watch lasted me all day. I didn’t have to charge it at all. I still have a couple things off (detect gym machine and background refresh). I have a weather complication on my watch face and the location arrow from the Control Center is still there. Only weird thing is that my battery life on the watch doesn’t match what it says on the battery widget on the phone. My watch earlier said it was at 92%, but the battery widget on my phone say 86%. That

Reply to Thank you for the quick battery fix!
I applaud your positivity and I hope the following doesn't apply for you, but quite a few people have found the battery % indicator to arbitrarily get stuck making it seem like the phone isn't charging or that the battery life is suddenly incredible. Turning the phone off and on yeilds a genuine reading though.

Drawing Pad & Pencil for MacBook and iMac Computers
Hello my fellow apple enjoyers my name is Jackson. I have an idea to share with you today that utilises existing apple hardware as well as slightly designing a new product. My idea is a sketch pad for MacBooks / iMacs, this idea will include a digital sketch pad that can connect to your computer via Bluetooth or wire, possibly varying in sizes (maybe a 10x10 inch and a more rectangle one) and it will let you to use the Apple Pencil to allow you to sketch notes, draw and use with Adobe programs such as photoshop, premiere pro, light room and after effects Just a simple idea that I think would be awesome to see come to life and will be an awesome product for the more creative people that like the bigger iPad Pro and pencil combos!

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
I too have been experiencing the same very fast battery drain that you are all talking about. I have an iPhone 6 16GB. I just recently re-install iOS 9 right over my previous iOS 9. Since doing this my battery life experience has greatly improved. I can't exactly say that things are back to normal but very much better than before I re-updated. I did try re-installing iOS 8.3, restoring from backup and then upgrading to iOS 9. 1st and 2nd time same results, battery life out of control. Now that I just updated right on top of iOS 9 and things have greatly improved. If things change I will re-post. Good Luck!!!

Reply to watchOS 7.3 battery drain issue
Same issue with my Series 4 after software update to 7.3.3. Battery life has been substantially degraded and the watch is taking much longer to charge than it did prior to the update. Apple, you need to put out a new update to fix this or allow us to roll back to the previous software version.

Reply to Battery Use Worse
Battery life is horrible for me. I would end the day of normal use at about 30 percent at 11pm...today I was at 30 percent at 2pm. Hopefully they can pinpoint this quickly.

Reply to anyone with beta 3 have poor battery life?
Poor battery life is the hallmark of every early beta since the programs began. Power management isn't a priority and will be put in place later in the cycle.

Reply to iPhone 7+ Overheating & Battery Drain
This happens with every single major beta release. It's normal. Battery life usually doesn't return to normal until beta 3 or 4.

Which beta are you running? With Version 3 I found that turning off Listen for 'Hey Siri' greatly improved my battery life on my iPhone 7 Plus.

Reply to watchOS 2 beta 5
I agree, Siri works sometimes, not others. Hey Siri is not working at all. They may have turned it off, which is why battery life is better.
