Reply to 4.3 Design Guidelines - Apple please reconsider how this is enforced.
I had chats with a few people from the review team. These are considered to be spams according to the guideline 4.3.- No similar app is allowed under your account. When they say similar, it simply means its appearance are alike. Even if targeted users are different, no similar app is allowed. Also they may say they are made using the same frameworks, it's nothing to do with the frameworks we think. It simply means they look similar. Even if the two apps are built upon completely diffrent codes (not built from a template), they are categorised as spams if they have similar user interface.- Releasing a free Lite version and a paid version is no longer accepted. Must use in-app purchase in one app instead of releasing an independent paid app. Otherwise they are rejected as spams.- Releasing upgraded new version as an independent app (like MY APP and MY APP 2) is not allowed. Old version must be removed from the store to release a new app as a different app. Otherwise they are rejected as spams.

Anyone Noticed Inconsistent Exercise Time Tracking in watchOS 4 Beta ?
AllAnyone else noticing weird issues with time inconsistencies for exercises in watchOS beta 4.3 ? Specifically I have noticed that the Exercise time (recorded in each exercise) does not match the Exercise team now being shown on activity. An example. I setup a 30 minute per day exercise goal for testing and completed about 6 minutes of light exercise through the day. I then set a run workout and did 31+ minutes (which showed in the completed exercise summary screen after the run). Therefore at a minimum I would expect the 'you've closed your exercise ring' message and also in Activity see about 36 to 37+ minutes of total exercise............WRONG.At the end of the run as I mentioned above I see 31+ minutes. Go to Activity for the day (after allowing time to sync etc) and it shows 29 minutes ! Even on the watch after the workout it showed 29 minutes although the exercise summary there too showed the 31 minute run !Not sure what is going on but certainly only happened since the beta.Bug filed but wond

Reply to Unable to apple pay in watchOS 4.3 beta 2?
I am seeing the same behavior as well (Card Unavailable - Try again in a few moments). Have tried the following things but none did not resolve the issue:Restart Watch and iPhoneRemove credit cards and re-addReset the watchSign out of iCloud on iPhone and restart iPhone and Watch and sign-in again (with adding credit cards back to wallet)I have now filed a bug report with apple (#37449485), let's hope it will be fixed in the next Beta. Payments working fine in iPhone X with latest Beta, just not in WatchOS 4.3 Beta 2 with Series 0 watch.

Watch says it's connected to iPhone, but can't get notifications or update any info from the watch
Hi All,This just started over the weekend - been using both iOS 11.3 and watchOS 4.3 since they were available without issue. I've rebooted both devices, but still no communication. The iPhone can see the watch attached, and the Watch shows the green phone icon so it thinks it's attached.. but i can't ping the iphone from watch, no apps will update their info, i get no notifications - even the alarm doesn't go off on the watch. So weird. Any ideas?

Reply to Is Phonegap/Ionic/Xamarin application will get rejected in iTunes from January 2018 onwards
The ASRGS have recently been updated to say this:4.2.6 Apps created from a commercialized template or app generation service will be rejected unless they are submitted directly by the provider of the app’s content. These services should not submit apps on behalf of their clients and should offer tools that let their clients create customized, innovative apps that provide unique customer experiences. Another acceptable option for template providers is to create a single binary to host all client content in an aggregated or “picker” model, for example as a restaurant finder app with separate customized entries or pages for each client restaurant, or as an event app with separate entries for each client event. And for reference:4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is alr

Apple pushed back on 4.3 and 4.2.6?
Is Apple reversing course on guidelines 4.3 and 4.2.6? What exactly is the standard now? Before, the 4.2.6 App Store guideline read as follows:4.2.6 Apps created from a commercialized template or app generation service will be rejected. The company’s revised wording now states:4.2.6 Apps created from a commercialized template or app generation service will be rejected unless they are submitted directly by the provider of the app’s content. Reply to Concerns About Rule 4.3 Spam Restriction - Enlightenment Needed
Did you try to submit the app under your own developer account? Or did you enroll the client, and submit their customized app through that client’s own developer account? (Note that you could contract to manage each client’s enrollment, which might potentially allow creating some nice ongoing revenue streams for you. Thus, if Apple approves each client’s apps when submitted under their own account, then rule 4.3 could create additional business opportunities for you.)

Guidelines 4.3 is in place for very good reasons - Take a look at the Google play store. Be creative and be unique instead of trying to game the system with copy cat apps.
