Reply to Battery life iOS 9 Beta 3
Beta 2 killed me on both phone & watch...I could actually watch the % drop like a stop watch! Happy to say that B3 has restored battery life on both devices back to pre beta config...hopeful that final release will see an overall increase in battery performance from 8.x 6+ 64gb

Reply to iOS 14 Beta Battery drain on iPhone 6s
I have an iPhone 6s & had the same problem. I’ve read numerous articles on how to save battery life and have implemented all of them. I downloaded 14.2 & it seemed okay. Then one day, after a 100% recharge, I set it down & didn’t use it all day. When I picked it up, it was at 1%!!! I looked at battery life & Siri had used 100%!!! I had it set up to access Siri only when you pressed the home button. I undid anything related to Siri. I did some of the tips suggested on this forum, except factory reset. Finally, I turned her completely off. My phone is back to normal. I miss her but I had to chose between her & battery life. I understand that 14.3 has been released & unless it has addressed some of these problems, I will not take the update. However, I will keep this phone until it completely dies, any apps that quit working will be deleted. (& in the meantime I should start saving my money for a new iPhone.....unless an other &

Reply to Is it possible to uninstall watchOS 4 beta and reset it back to watchOS 3?
Hey Marky. Unfortunately you cannot revert back to watchOS 3. Only Apple can do that. So you will have to send it in. By the way, did you try to un-pair and re-pair your Apple Watch? Or just erase all content and restore it as new. My battery life is not bad on watchOS4. Give it it try instead of sending it in for repair. It might take 3-4 days.Good luck.

Getting incorrect force values on first touch - iPad Pro M2 / Apple Pencil 2
Hey, I am writing a drawing app for iPad and Apple Pencil. Since today I am getting weird readings from my Apple Pencil. The first 2-6 touches the UITouch event gives me a 0.33333333 force reading. After these first UITouches it continues reading correctly. It's very inconsistent between Pencil touches. It was working correctly earlier today. I thought I might have changed something in my code to cause it, but I reverted it to a prior state and it still kept happening. With the 0.333333 at the start I don't know what causes it, or if its a device problem. I tested with two pencils already.

Reply to Ipados 18.1 beta 5 bugs
Is it only when you open OnlyOffice? If so, don't you think it's likely to be an OnlyOffice problem, not an Apple problem? When you install a beta version of an OS certain processes run in the background. They may be running all the time, so it's normal for you to see increased temperatures and less battery life. This has been true for years.

Feature Request: Dual Apple Pencil Pro Use or Charging Dock Support
Hi everyone 👋 I’ve been using the Apple Pencil Pro with my iPad Pro M4 and absolutely love it — the squeeze gesture, rotation, and haptics are amazing for creative work. But I’ve run into a little roadblock… Right now, only one Pencil Pro can be paired at a time. So while one is charging, you can’t use another as a backup without unpairing and re-pairing, which interrupts the workflow. I’d really love to see one of two things: The ability to use one Pencil while another charges or An official external charger (or support for third-party ones) Personally, I’d happily buy both a second Pencil and a charger if this became possible. I’ve even chatted with other creatives who feel the same — it would make a huge difference for long projects or working on the go. Just wanted to share this idea and see if anyone else here would like this too. Thanks for reading!
