We would like to confirm the unsubscribe flow related to recurring payment processing. When a user unsubscribes, does your system send any notification to us? If no notification is provided, we will not be able to detect the unsubscribe event and will continue to send recurring payment requests to the gateway periodically. Would this cause any issues? Issue with Apple Pay Integration in WKWebView
Hello, We are experiencing an issue with Apple Pay integration in our application. We are using WKWebView to handle various payment methods, but we are unable to complete payments via Apple Pay. Upon debugging the WKWebView, we received the following error message: "400 No required SSL certificate was sent" when attempting to process the payment. Currently, we are using a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. Could you please confirm whether this certificate is suitable for Apple Pay, or if we should be using a different SSL certificate?

Problem with cert validation and button show
Hi, I’ve been trying to integrate Apple Pay, but for some reason, the payment button is not showing up. The project is built with Laravel 11 and Vue. However, when I test my integration, the button doesn’t appear. I’ve checked the console, but there are no errors. At the same time, I have my certificate imported into the Keychain, and I’ve completed the entire process of creating both the certificate and the private key. However, when I try to validate the session using the certificate and key with Apple’s API, I get an error: 400 The SSL certificate error https://apple-pay-gateway-cert.apple.com/paymentservices/

Apple Pay Domain Reverify Failed
We are attempting to integrate the Apple Pay service into our website and have successfully verified our domain with Apple manually. However, we consistently receive an 'ApplePay reverify failed' email a month before the expiration time. Upon checking, we updated the SSL certificate for the domain before receiving the email, and the link still works fine in the browser. We would greatly appreciate any feedback from someone who can help us with this issue.

Unable to verify the merchant domain after renewing the SSL
Hi, We're experiencing an issue with verifying our domain for Apple Pay on the web. It's currently stuck in the "Pending" state despite meeting the listed requirements. The domain in question has been verified once successfully but one month later when we renewed the SSL, we were unable to verify the domain again. Please note that the new certificate's CA chain has been changed. A) The "apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt" file is publicly accessible at the following location: /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt B) We've also ensured that the following IP ranges are whitelisted: 17.32.139.128/27 17.32.139.160/27 17.140.126.0/27 17.140.126.32/27 17.179.144.128/27 17.179.144.160/27 17.179.144.192/27 17.179.144.224/27 17.253.0.0/16 17.23.4.96/27 17.132.108.64/26 17.23.24.32/27 17.23.19.0/27 17.157.40.128/27 17.157.44.128/27 17.157.32.0/27 C) Our servers support TLS 1.2 already. D) "ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256" cipher suite has been used, so we believe all necessary criteria are satisfied. However, when we attempt to verify the domain, we receive the following error message: "Domain verification failed. Review your TLS Certificate configuration to confirm that the certificate is accessible and a supported TLS Cipher Suite is used." Domain Verification and applePayCapabilities
We have verified our domain but if the file is removed from the deployed site after verification will this impact using ApplePaySession.applePayCapabilities in real time? We use that method from the JS api in our React app to determine whether or not to show the apple pay button. When that function is called in the browser, do the apple servers ping the https://our.domain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association URL at that time? Or do they check for it periodically? The reason for asking is that with our many environments we wonder if we can verify each environment's domain by adding the file once. The file will be wiped out by our CICD process as it goes up the environment stack through our development workflow. Or do we need to maintain that file for each environment and add something to our build process?

Apple pay closes silently
During our Apple Pay integration testing, we encountered an issue that we're unsure how to resolve. Below are the steps we followed: Created an Apple Pay sandbox test account for Raul and added a test card, following the documentation here: https://developer.apple.com/apple-pay/sandbox-testing/ Opened the Golfmanager platform and initiated a booking. For payment, selected Apple Pay as the method. Raul clicked the Apple Pay button on the Golfmanager UI. He scanned the QR code using his iPhone, logged in with the test account. Apple Pay began validating our merchant identity and retrieved the wallet token to proceed with payment. The Apple Pay payment sheet appeared on Raul's iPhone, showing the card details and the amount requested by Golfmanager. Suddenly, the Apple Pay sheet closed unexpectedly, and we have no insight into what went wrong or what might be missing on our end. Format of expirationDate on Merchant Token Event
I am working on implementing merchant token notifications. When calling this endpoint https://developer.apple.com/documentation/merchanttokennotificationservices/merchant-token-event-retrieval, the result contains a CardMetadata object with an expirationDate field (see https://developer.apple.com/documentation/merchanttokennotificationservices/cardmetadata). What is the format of this field? The spec only mentions that it has a maximum length of 8 characters.

Merchant domain verification
Hello, I'm experiencing an irregular issue with Apple Pay merchant domain verification. As you know, Apple requires domain verification every two months to maintain Apple Pay functionality. The problem is that while the verification sometimes happens automatically without any issues, other times it fails to complete, even though the required file "apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt" is correctly available on our server. When automatic verification fails, the Apple Pay service becomes non-functional on our website, forcing us to perform a manual verification to restore the pending service. Is it normal to encounter such inconsistent automatic verification processes? What could be causing these intermittent verification failures, whereas manual verification always succeed? suggesting this might not be related to IP address restrictions described on the Apple documentation. Apple Pay on Google Chrome
Hi - I have a question. I am trying to understand when Apple Pay will be available on non-IOS desktop devices (specifically Google Chrome). I was hoping to understand better the process, specifically the following: How can I get the Apple Pay QR code installed on my desktop checkout page on Google Chrome? How long does this process usually take? If I work with Stripe, do I need to get approval from them to install the Apple QR code onto my Google Chrome checkout page? Is this readily available to all merchants (i.e., installing Apple Pay on Google Chrome)/ I have not seen this on any other checkout pages yet. Are there any examples you could point me to of merchants that have installed Apple Pay onto non-IOS desktop so I could trial the process (i.e., a list of existing merchants that have put the QR code onto their Google Chrome checkout pages)?

Hello. I have a few questions about the implementation of Apple Pay payments on websites. Could you help me From the documentation: Apple Pay issues an Apple Pay Merchant Token if the user’s payment network supports merchant-specific payment tokens. Otherwise, Apple Pay issues a device token for the payment request. How can we determine whether a token is a merchant token or a device token? Is it possible to determine this by any of the token fields? https://developer.apple.com/documentation/passkit/payment-token-format-reference Is it possible to understand this in other ways? Can I make recurring payments with the device token if it was issued instead of the merchant token? Is it necessary to include the tokenNotificationURL when generating a merchant token, or can we generate one without specifying it? What does the applicationExpirationDate field in the merchant token represent? Is this the date when the device token or merchant token expires and payments cannot be made with it?

Apple Pay ok with SandBox but ko in production
Hello, On my website, I have a button to make a payment via Apple Pay. When I click on it, the Touch ID window opens correctly. However, when I place my finger on the Touch ID, I get a payment error. When I use my iPhone to scan the apple pay QR code in chrome, the url is https://applepaydemo.apple.com/apple-pay-js-api, I keep geting the "Service Unavailable" error. Wonder know if you guys meet this error as well? Btw, the QR code feature needs IOS 18.

Apple Pay QR code scan not working
I have apple pay on the web running ok on our website, using ios devices When I load the cart in a browser and try using the 'scan now qr code', my pay sheet displays on my iphone and then immediately closes. How can I debug the issue? I'm not seeing any logging or issues.

To prevent sending sensitive credentials in plain text, create a report in Feedback Assistant to share the details requested below. Additionally, if the error is something we need to investigate further, the appropriate engineering teams also have access to the same information and can communicate with you directly within Feedback Assistant for more information, as needed. For issues occurring with your native app or web service, perform the following steps: Install the Apple Pay profile on your iOS or watchOS device. If the issue occurs on Mac, continue to Step 2. Reproduce the issue and make a note of the timestamp when the issue occurred, while optionally capturing screenshots or video. Gather a sysdiagnose on the same iOS or watchOS device, or on macOS. Create a Feedback Assistant report with the following information: The serial number of the device. For iOS and watchOS: Open Settings > General > About > Serial Number (tap and hold to copy). For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > Serial Number. The SEID (Secure Element Identifier) of the device, represented as a HEX encoded string. For iOS and watchOS: open Settings > General > About > SEID (tap and hold to copy). For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > System Report > NVMExpress > Serial Number. The sysdiagnose gathered after reproducing the issue. The timestamp of when the issue was reproduced. Screenshots or videos of errors and unexpected behaviors (optional). Gathering Required Information for Troubleshooting Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification Issues While troubleshooting Apple Pay In-App Provisioning or In-App Verification, it is essential that the issuer is able to collect logs on their device and check those logs for error message. This is also essential when reporting issues to Apple. To gather the required data for your own debugging as well as reporting issues, please perform the following steps on the test device: Install the Apple Pay and Wallet profiles on your iOS or watchOS device. If the issue occurs on Mac, continue to Step 2. Reproduce the issue and make a note of the timestamp when the issue occurred, while optionally capturing screenshots or video. Gather a sysdiagnose on the same iOS or watchOS device, or on macOS. Create a Feedback Assistant report with the following information: The bundle IDs App bundle ID Non-UI app extension bundle ID (if applicable) UI app extension bundle ID (if applicable) The serial number of the device. For iOS and watchOS: Open Settings > General > About > Serial Number (tap and hold to copy). For macOS: Open the Apple () menu > About This Mac > Serial Number.
