Hi, I have seen in the last days, that there is a significant difference between what is reported as sales in iTunes Connect Web and the iOS app. Does anyone has the same issue and what is the reason for the difference.
Different reporting iTunes Connect and iOS app
Things are still messed up.
* Connect app and web is not showing the same data like views, units, in-app purchases ...
it seems that they are fed from different sources.
* Clicks to campain codes generaed by ITC not showing up.
* Analytics data is usually delayed and gets available at least 36 hours later.
I am afraid ITC Analytics will become a beautiful useless section this way.
I believe Apple should give some info about the issue and say if they are working on it.
If they decided not to spend for it anymore and expect us to handle it on our own we should know it beforehand.
Same issue here..
Some In App Purchases are showed in ITC but not in the iOS App (and in AppAnnie reports).. Also I've noticed that the numbers are completely different between UTC and Local Time.. (I know that they are 2 different time zone, but I never experienced a discrepancy like that before..)
I noticed this issue a few weeks ago. It started with thousands of updates when the total number of downloads never had that many, so that's a discrepancy. Also, the app for me is never the same as the website. So weird that this is happening, and how is it not fixed yet?
Is it because ITC only records data from devices running iOS 8 and above and the app records data from pre iOS8? See pie chart at https://developer.apple.com/support/app-store/
As mentioned above, if ITC was only showing data from devices running iOS 8 and above then this would affect all data for views, units, in-app purchases etc.
No.. my apps runs only on iOS8 and above..
I am also having this issue
I thought I had a similar issue but then I realized it was a time zone issue (UTC vs local). Hope this helps.
This link helped me.
