Apple... are we calling them subscription 'options' still or instead just subscription 'plans' now?

Recently I've noticed a subtle change in terminology from Apple WRT auto-renewable subscriptions.

They seem to have shifted from using the term subscription 'option' to the term subscription 'plan' instead.

This is most evident in the new look Subscriptions page [found in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions]. Within here there is no mention of 'option' or 'options' and instead there are the terms 'See All Plans' and 'Available Plans' instead.

However, on the old Subscriptions page [still available in Settings > App Store > Sandbox Account > Apple ID: [Account E-mail] > Manage], there are no references to 'plan' or 'plans' and instead there are the terms 'options' and 'select an option' instead.

I know this may seem like a very trivial point I'm making, but it is actually quite important, as this is how we term our subscription products to the app users that are then paying us to use them. We don't want them getting confused or the terms being confusing. Having looked this all up on Google Search, 'plan' makes a lot more sense than 'option' in the context of subscriptions, so I see why Apple made the shift, but it would've been good if they had at least alerted developers in advance of that, if anything for the sake of clarity and UX consistency.

So could someone at Apple 1) possibly confirm this terminology change and, if so, 2) document it somewhere or update developers, as I feel it is fairly important.

I've had to change all the code and user facing references to subscription option(s) in my app to subscription plan(s) instead as a result of this 'trivial' terminology change. Not annoyed at all... just making the point :)

Cheers in advance, Ben
