I am in the process of setting up a way to offer schools a discount for purchasing our app for their students, and/or, offering students a discount for purchasing our app for themselves. Below are my questions about the process:

Our distribution method is public and always has been. Today I checked the box saying, "Offer a reduced price on the Apple School Manager for volume purchase" (Screenshot attached). I clicked "Save" at the top. Is it that easy?

My concern is that our app has been approved for a while, and from what I've read you must set this up before getting approved. If that is the case, why would I have the option to check the box now? What steps do I actually need to take to implement a school discount?

Without access to Apple Schools, how can I verify that our app is available to schools for the discount before we market it to them?

How do I educate the schools to find, purchase and distribute our app? Can anyone link me to a clear article for that?
