iPad identified as iMac when registered on portal

I am trying to register my iPad as a device on the developer portal but it keeps declaring it as an iMac. Do you know if this is a typical problem?

Yes, this happened to me a couple of years ago when I was registering an iPad mini; it was showing as an iPhone.

It took ages to explain it to the support team, but it did get changed eventually. Just contact developer support and explain the issue.
