For some reason since I’ve downloaded iOS 18e etc I have noticed my phone has gone from 256gb to 255gb. Wonder why?
iPhone was 256 now 255
I suppose you speak of capacity information ? It is effectively surprising to see a value that is not power of 2.
I see 2 possible reasons:
- a bug in iOS 18.

In addition, it is known that computation of available storage has regularly changed over iOS versions. 1 GB difference over 256 is a very small adjustment.
