WhatsApp is automatically suffixing a number to the device name in the list of Linked devices shown in WhatsApp app settings. The suffixed number has no correlation to the actual number of linked devices at that time. For example, a number “2” is suffixed to the device name in list of Linked devices shown in WhatsApp, even though that computer/ device is the only one shown as a linked device.
If we try to edit the device name to remove the suffixed digit, it does not move forward.
I think it has something to do with the restoration of chats from cloud, because the suffixing happens subsequent to the restoration of chats from cloud.
Whatsapp does not respond to emails about this issue.

Obviously something either broke in the approval process or a bug appeared they pulled it for. Hopefully we get an update this week (might be another week). Integration with Memoji and Playground is a big part of our project. So hanging tight.
After updating to iOS 18.1 my CarPlay won’t work at all just says “ unsupported iPod 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️wired CarPlay in works vehicle however it works in my Audi 2021 I wired , using original Apple cable and works vehicle is 2023 model worked fine untill the update, still charges but nothing else 😤😤😤😤😤
I have two time machines one is a western digital and the other is a Q Nap that ever since I upgraded to Sequoia, I cannot use. It’s an NAS device and Macke says that I have to contact the manufacturer of the product. They’re too old for me to contact them. My MacBook is new and it was working up until I had upgraded to Sequoia so I’m just trying to find out if that is a software glitch or an OS glitch. It is happening on both Max that I have so this is begging me the question that it’s an iOS update causation.
It just sits and spins at the Time Machine preparing to back up and that is all that it does the first time it backed up probably until 25% and now it’s just doing this preparing to back up.
I also have tried to wipe out the shares on both NAS machines and deleted the the files within the share to set it up again, and it still does not work.
I updated 18.2 beta on my iPhone 16 Pro Max when it was first released. I requested access to Image Creation as well as Playground after the updated finished, but it still shows early access requested. Any idea on timeline for access?
I have been waiting a couple of days for access to image playground also. I wonder if having my VPN activated during my initial early access request right after I installed 18.2 somehow put me in some sort of loop that’s not allowing me to be granted access. Is there anyone that has been waiting that had their VPN on when they requested early access?
Is there a way I can get a signed iOS 13 profile? I am trying to downgrade an iPod Touch.

iOS 15.8.3
Hello, two months ago, I got a 2024 Volkswagen ID.4. At first, there was a free trial of a hotspot through Verizon. It was fine, but I'd rather use my phone's cellular data.
Not long after that, I installed the iOS 18.1 beta. That's when I noticed that my phone was offline when connected to CarPlay. I have my maps downloaded, and much of my music and podcasts are configured to download locally to my phone, so I'm not sure exactly when it began.
I've exhausted the settings I can think of on my phone and my car's infotainment settings. I've tried:
Resetting Network settings on my phone
Confirming that Wifi Assist is enabled
Re-pairing my phone with my car
Turning off my car's Wifi Hotspot setting turns turns off wireless CarPlay. When I try to re-connect to CarPlay, I get a notification that it must be on to connect wirelessly.
Turning cellular data off and on
None have helped yet. Any ideas?

Toggle button for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) missing in iPhone.
Instead of Toggle button for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) in iPhone ,a grayed out text appears if the other Apple device is logged in to iCloud after the primary iPhone.
Messages in iCloud are switched On for all devices, and all devices are on latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS. iMessage is also On.
The toggle button appears for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) in iPhone against any device logged in to Apple account in the following conditions:
1.) the iPhone is restored as new and logged on to the iCloud ID, after the other Apple device was logged in to iCloud with same ID. In other words, the iPhone under consideration and its Messages in iCloud are logged on in the last out of all other Apple devices (iPad, macBook, any other iPhone); or
2.) the messages in iCloud is toggled "Off" in the respective other Apple device.
Perhaps the above condition (2) is emanating out of the Apple support article https://support.apple.com/en-in/102545, but the condition at (1) definitely does not seem to have any basis. The behaviour at (1) seems a bug.
After I updated Siri doesn't work. If I try to use it by typing I get no feedback or response. If I say 'Siri' or hold down the side button the 'animation' on the screen starts but stops immediately and again I have no response or feedback. When turning off Apple Intelligence and just using Siri, it works perfectly. But in conjunction with Apple Intelligence, it is not possible to use Siri.

Observing 4K playback issues on tvOS 18. Encountering HTTP 416 (Range Not Satisfiable) errors when the player attempts to request byte ranges that are outside the available data on the server. This leads to fatal playback error resulting in the error
CoreMediaErrorDomain error -12939 - HTTP 416: Requested Range Not Satisfiable
Notably, there are no customizations or modifications to the standard AVPlayerViewController on tvOS player.
AVPlayer is trying to request the resource of length equals 739 bytes with an invalid byte range (739-) request. Since the request is not satisfiable server returns with 416. Note this is only limited to tvOS 18 and we are trying to understand why AVPlayer is making this invalid request in tvOS 18 resulting in playback error.
I’m trying to create a custom animation for a button in SwiftUI, but the animation doesn’t seem to trigger properly when the button is pressed. I’ve followed the standard approaches using withAnimation, but the button only occasionally animates. Has anyone encountered this issue? Are there specific guidelines or common pitfalls in SwiftUI for button animations that I might be missing? Any insights would be appreciated!
iOS 18.2 recently came out, with new features ano one of those being image playground. I signed up for the waitlist, and I was hoping the wait time would be around 1-2 hours, just like the writing tools waiist. But that was 2 days ago, and it has been around 40 hours of me still waiting for the image playground feature. Does anyone know how long it takes on average?
there are no AI chips on iOS 18.1, there is a region with great states and English everywhere. there is no apple intelligence and siri section (just siri instead). There is also no eraser function in the photo app.
Context: I’m not an app developer, but I’m doing some research in order to gain a high level understanding of an app that I want some developers to build for me.
Basically I need a navigation app built (integrated with Google Maps) that works pretty much like Google Maps. This app will connect to and stream live navigation data to a car HUD (heads-up-display) device using WiFi direct (to facilitate high bandwidth streaming). The purpose of the streaming from the mobile app to the HUD is so that the driver can see the live map without having to look at their phone.
This leads me to my QUESTION: this functionality (streaming from app to HUD) is similar to what AirPlay does & I’ve read that Apple rejects apps that replicate AirPlay’s screen mirroring function. I’ve also read that in order to work around this, my app should limit the information that is sent to & displayed by the HUD device (basically, shouldn’t mirror the whole screen). So, would Apple still reject my app if it only streamed the live map onto the HUD device & left out all the other information displayed on the app (ETA, turn signals, distances etc.), and thus refraining from streaming the entire screen?
How can i download IOS 18.2beta?
I applied to Apple for authorization for the following page about 3 weeks ago, but have not received the results yet
https://developer.apple.com/documentation/networkextension/local_push_connectivity
Should I try to submit the application again with the same information or can I wait a little longer?
I would appreciate it if you could give me a little information about the same application or even another authority, such as the time it took to reply to that application.
Here is the actual page I applied for

I updated an iPhone 15 Pro Max to iOS 18.2, before I watch some reviews. I noticed that my Mail app did not appear with the sorting functions. Is there anyone with the similar problem?
