If you want to use the wathc, go back to iOS 9. Apart from worse battery life (by around 20%), it's pretty stable and usable on my iPhone 6.

Any news from Beta 2?' is battery life better? (Since i cannot upgrade to beta 2 .....cause you know.. i am not a developer blah blah bla 😁)

I’m using Xcode 16 on an M1 Pro and experiencing overheating issues. It seems like Apple rushed the release without addressing glitches that cause the laptop to overheat, which can directly affect battery life, decreasing its performance and, in turn, lowering the value of the Mac. I really dislike this from Apple. We pay a lot for their products, and issues like these devalue them.

This appears to be resolved with two simple settings changes. Please read this post and try the proposed solutioins. Do you have the Battery Life complication on your watch face? I know it sounds really odd, but I had the same problem and turning that off worked for me. Still an issue in watchOS 2 beta 4.

Guys same issue here, battery life before was 2 days, now I have to charge it the afternoon of the first day. or it’s the health app or the widgets, but please fix it!

I have an iPhone 6s & had the same problem. I’ve read numerous articles on how to save battery life and have implemented all of them. I downloaded 14.2 & it seemed okay. Then one day, after a 100% recharge, I set it down & didn’t use it all day. When I picked it up, it was at 1%!!! I looked at battery life & Siri had used 100%!!! I had it set up to access Siri only when you pressed the home button. I undid anything related to Siri. I did some of the tips suggested on this forum, except factory reset. Finally, I turned her completely off. My phone is back to normal. I miss her but I had to chose between her & battery life. I understand that 14.3 has been released & unless it has addressed some of these problems, I will not take the update. However, I will keep this phone until it completely dies, any apps that quit working will be deleted. (& in the meantime I should start saving my money for a new iPhone.....unless an other &

Hey Marky. Unfortunately you cannot revert back to watchOS 3. Only Apple can do that. So you will have to send it in. By the way, did you try to un-pair and re-pair your Apple Watch? Or just erase all content and restore it as new. My battery life is not bad on watchOS4. Give it it try instead of sending it in for repair. It might take 3-4 days.Good luck.

Same here. A MacBook Pro 13 2017 touchbar with only 50 cycles and 97% life remain of the battery, stucked at 1% charge rate, service required warning, the manufacturing date of battery became 1970-01-01. Tried resetting SMC and PRAM but problems remained.

Is it only when you open OnlyOffice? If so, don't you think it's likely to be an OnlyOffice problem, not an Apple problem? When you install a beta version of an OS certain processes run in the background. They may be running all the time, so it's normal for you to see increased temperatures and less battery life. This has been true for years.

Terrible battery life thus far. Full charge at 6:30am now it's 9:00am and I am at 73% charge with a few notifications Maybe I need to wipe it as well. :-(

I had the same issue with aw4 cell. Read about resolvibh it with unpairing watch and then pair again. Didn’t believe it to work but tried anyway and it actually did work. Now the battery life is as good as new.

iOS 11 is a beta right now - many times betas have different power management code than release versions so it is common for battery life to be less than normal.

Issue exists for me as well. watchOS11 release candidate. Lost 20 % life within 1.5 hours of full charge. Performed the basic triage for battery issues.
