I'm very new to app development so I apologize in advance. Is it possible to create an app for in house use only (not for distribution in the App store) that uses not approved API's or work arounds? Liken this to creating a jailbreak app for internal use only. If it never has to be distributed publicly, does it matter how the app is constructed / works (as long as I understand the risks?)There are a few jailbreak apps that would really benefit my sales force, like having their calendar on the lock screen. I will not jailbreak anyone's phone, but what if I created an app on my own that replicated the functionality. It would never pass the appoval process, but it would be infinitely helpful for my company internally. There is an approved app in the store that does smething similar but I do not like the implementation. So, is something like this feasible? Creating an app that would never be approved due to it's nature? Thanks!
Is it possible to open a specific event in Calendar using a URL scheme? We're an organization that hosts events involving anywhere from 100-4000+ technical presentations. We have an event app that allows our attendees to build personalized schedules of presentations they're interested in attending. In an upcoming release the user will have the ability to save their scheduled events to the Calendar app and/or view their personal Calendar events within the context of their personalized event schedule.Currently, if a personal event is selected it's treated identically to a presentation and loads detail view within the application and I'd like to at least provide the option of opening the event within the Calendar app.
After I set my Exchange calendar account to 'No limit' mail days to sync the calendar got synced with my iCloud calendar AND Exchange calendar. Happy for me it works again! Hope it works for others 2!

I don't believe this is an isolated incident.I don't wish to repeat everything that everyone else has typed, so I'll briefly list the symptomology:Updated iPhone 5 to ios 9. installation appears to have been successful, no errors reported. When attaching to wifi (a pretty new Linksys wireless N router) WITH THE SSID HIDDEN, the device will not attach. WPA2 personal encyption being used, username and password verified, MAC ID filtering is utilized. ALL of these settings have been checked and are correct, and this is the same setup it's been for the last calendar year. Zero issues prior to the installation of ios 9.Herein are the observed symptoms: When the SSID beacon is active/broadcasting, phone will attach normally. If the phone settings are reset/cleared, info can be placed back into the phone, and the phone will attach normally.WHEN SSID IS ONCE AGAIN HIDDEN, the phone disconnects from the network, and nothing fixes it. Resetting and manually adding, auto connecting, nothing allows the phone to at

I've been tracking this bug with Apple's bug reporter and working with the bug report rep. Still no fix... They kind of just stopped responding.Like everyone else, Mail is working fine. It is even going back and grabbing old messages now. Contacts, Calendars, and for some reason, Reminders are not. Calenedar keeps saying there was an error sending your changes to the server. Console shows generic SOAPDirectoryService error. What version of Exchange is everyone running? We're running Exchange 2010 Update 10. I thought at first this had to do with my Kemp load balancers (they caused an issue in Yosemite), but seeing all these responses, I don't believe that to be the case. Also it is still not fixed in 10.11.1.

Hello,The same way there is a framework and API to add events and reminders to the Mac calendars, I'd like to know if there is an API to create notes from a custom application, so that they will later be accessible through the OS X Notes application ?Thank you.
I am unable to access my calendar since it is locked...Due to account maintenance, calendar is currently unavailable. In trying to fix the problem, all my devices lost information so I don't have any working calendar. This had also messed up my contacts on my computer in Outlook but they seem to be working through my other three devices. Support has not been able to fix this and I am waiting over a week for the engineers to respond to the problem. I am very unhappy and this is preventing me from doing my business properly. I am now working on a paper calendar so I can keep track of my future appointments but my only calendar was on the cloud so I don't know what appointments I am missing. Today I tried to restore it and after three tries of different dates with a very nice, senior advisor, I am still nowhere. If you have any information, please share it. If you are having the same problem, please let me know. My problem began when I was forced to change my password
I tested removing my corporate profile (Exchange Mail) managed by MobileIron and all my personal calendars (Gmail, icloud) returned. It appears it has something to do with the restrictions set on corporate profiles. I hope this gets resolved as it has rendered my watch useless as I need it to keep track of my meetings ...

I have a corporate profile provided via a mobile iron and I have he exact same issue. After upgrading to watchOs2 all my calendar data is gone from the watch. Regardless of resetting sync data. I removed the entire corporate profile from my phone and calendar on the watch works perfectly. Add it back and boom. It's all gone. Including my iCloud data. I really hope this is fixed ASAP.

Same exact problem here. No calendar data. I have a corporate profile on my phone. I still get email which has significantly more confidential data than the calendar.

I am having the exact same problem. It began when I downloaded IOS 9. Prior to that, my calendar entries were flawlessly synced between iPhone, iPad, Macbook Pro, and Outlook (on Windows PC). After the new IOS, nothing will sync and I get this error message. It has now been three days. A senior advisor is helping me but he cannot get the engineers to respond to his ticket at least not yet. Like you, I use this calendar feature for my work (I am a clinical psychologist) with lots of appointments to keep track of. I am concerned and more than a little steamed. Have you had any resolution as yet? If so, do you know anything about what they did to fix it?
