transferUserInfo from watch to phone not working
Hi,I'm using transferUserInfo to send data from my watch to the phone and vice versa. The purpose is to synchronize favorite states. When the user favorites an entry on the phone, I reflect this on the watch and vice versa. When sending the user info from the phone to the watch, this happens instantly but the from watch to phone, the data never arrives. Is anyone else experiencing this?I have tested this on the simulator and it works perfectly but it doesn't work on devices.

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
Same here - iPhone 6 w/ ios9 beta installed - phone was in bag when I went home from work around 6PM. When I put it in the bag it was just taken off the charger and was at 100%. At 7:30AM I went to look at my meetings for the morning and it just showed the low/no battery graphic.Yes I know it's a beta. Yes I'm aware of the crap that beta's can bring - I've been through four of these cycles now. I just want to add my experience.

ssame problem here, both on iPhone 6 and the Apple Watch (not yet upgraded to Watch OS 2). Burned through a full, nearly new iPhone 6 in 5 hours without actually using the phone for anything except with the watch. Watch battery gone in 4 hours. Did a complete reset of watch, and set up phone from scratch. Not so much battery problem on iPad Air.

Update Stuck on "Checking for Update..."
Is anyone else having trouble updating their Watch to Watch OS 2 beta? I'm currently stuck on the step where you need to actually update the Watch's software. When I go to the Apple Watch app on the iPhone, then General, then Software Update, it displays Checking for Update... and has been doing so for at least 30 minutes. I thought my corporate filter might be blocking the download, so I went on 4G, but it's still happening. I've tried restarting both the Watch and my iPhone, which is running iOS 9 beta, to no avail.I've followed all the steps in the installation guide up until this point, and I'm pretty stuck. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Availability of a custom keyboard
I am developing a keyboard extension. Even when it's allowed full access, there are still some cases it disappears and the default iPhone keyboard appears insted. I'm not talking about the password and phone number fields. The first case is the 'Search iPhone' field. There are some custom keyboards that appear there. However, my keyboard is not listed among the available keyboards for that field. The second case is a bit strange: if a device is not passcode protected, locking the screen with open keyboard and unlocking it does nothing, i.e. the keyboard still appears on the screen and everything is fine. However, if a device is passcode protected, after unlocking it, my keyboard is replaced with the system default. The interesting thing is that the same custom keyboards that can be used in the 'Search iPhone' field, remain active after unlocking a passcode protected device.I believe, there should be some setting or property in the plist file or something. I just cant find any

I also had this issue but I had to turn off the phone because it was stuck on an app and could not do anything else. When I turned it back on the carrier name was back on. Hope this helps.

Reply to How should one manage authentication?
After searching for a while in the iOS security guide white paper, it seems the BlueTooth and Wi-Fi transmissions between the WatchKit and the iPhone are encrypted. This should solve most issuessource: https://www.apple.com/business/docs/iOS_Security_Guide.pdf

Reply to On device watchOS debugging impossible
One trick that seemed to help me was to fire up the camera capture app on the watch and take a pic. That seemed to kickstart the communication between the watch and phone and suddenly both XCode could see the Watch properly and apps both started installing quicker and attaching.
