Reply to 4.3 Design Guidelines - Apple please reconsider how this is enforced.
Hello .. Good evening! We also went through this problem, we talked via ticket and phone with Apple. They are really blocking the White Label model, impossible to continue in this model. In our case, we opted for the container app, we were able to develop and it was approved. Customers accepted the change. In summary there are 3 ways to solve rejection 4.3:WEBAPP- WebApp would be accessed by browser and so would not be in the AppleStore;- It's good for B2B and would have a link to give internal use access.CONTAINERAPP:- All in one app;- Each company would have its logo inside this app, however it would not be heavy because only the data of the companies that the user selects is lowered.- Each company has its data separately.NEWAPP:- Have a different application for each company without being of the same template / whitelabel format. It has to really be a unique application, especially in design.

Reply to Need Clarification on 4.3(a) Rejection After Removing AI – Long-Term App with 200K+ Users
Dear App Review Team, I am writing with deep concern and a sincere request for help. My app has been live since 2019 and has grown steadily over the past 6 years. It currently serves over 200,000 users, many of whom have been with me since the beginning. This project is the result of countless days and nights of independent development. I can guarantee that all core features are my original work, even though I use a few standard third-party libraries. In my latest submission (Submission ID: c6ab3d17-4b1b-4c67-935e-c0f0c62973c6, reviewed April 9, 2025 – version 4.3.9), my app was rejected under guideline 4.3(a). I had previously added some AI features using DeepSeek, and after the first rejection, I completely removed all AI-related functionality and content. To my surprise, the app was still rejected for the same reason — 4.3(a). I have carefully reviewed the guidelines and my app, but I’m struggling to understand what exactly triggered the rejection. Without specific feedback, I don’t know

Reply to ERROR ITMS-90596: "Invalid Bundle. The asset catalog at 'Payload/MyABQ.app/Assets.car' can't be read. Try rebuilding the app with a non-beta version of Xcode and submit it again.
Sorry, I am using the very latest, xcode 9.3 beta 4From the Testflight page saying my version should work:Apps built with Xcode 9.3 beta 4 using the SDK for iOS 11.3 beta 4, tvOS 11.3 beta 4, and watchOS 4.3 beta 4 are now supported.I have a partial answer. The person submitting the app bundle wasn't using Xcode 9.3 beta 4 to launch ApplicationLauncher. When I do that now I get: No suitable application records were found. Verify your bundle identifier 'com.appcitylife.myabq-1' is correct. My bundle identifier is correct. And here is the answer to this problem: sign into the correct iTunesConnect account that has your app's bundle identifier already set up.So, no more problems today.

Reply to DisplayLink not working in MacOs 10.13.4 bata update
DisplayLink is aware of this ploblemhere is official statemant:http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/macosImportant Information about macOS 10.13.4 updateWe have become aware that installing macOS release Version 10.13.4 will cause DisplayLink connected displays to go blank after the OS upgrade, with the current DisplayLink driver [4.1] installed. Functionality such as Ethernet and audio, where implemented, is unaffected. We have alerted Apple to this issue and are working hard to find a resolution. These features continue to work as expected in 10.13.3.In the meantime, we have a new driver [4.3] that will enable clone mode, but not mirror or extended mode displays in 10.13.4. If you require mirror or extended mode displays, we recommend that you stay on macOS 10.13.3 or earlier at this time.

Reply to Guideline 4.3 -- made from template... but they are not.
If you are talking about FastFinga 3, I already got approved from Hasegawa san from Apple Review Board. He clearly said that Handwriting Keyboard is not similar to FastFinga 3 because Handwriting Keyboard is a keyboard extension, although he ordered me to remove FastFinga version 2 because keeping multiple versions is against Guideline 4.3 and not allowed on App Store.Even he said that I still doubt Handwriting Keyboard was rejected because of FastFinga 3. I think the review team is very confused and not operating well. FastFinga is more like a drawing app. Handwriting Keyboard is a keyboard extension, which contains handwriting recognition engine. It is like Apple's built-in Simplified Chinese Handwriting Keyboard.

Reply to App Store Rejection - Guideline 4.3(b) - Spam (Dating Apps)
Thank you for your post. There are several factors that may contribute to an app not following App Review Guideline 4.3. Typically, these apps share a similar binary, metadata, and overall concept as apps already on the App Store, with only minor differences. If you have questions about App Review's review of your app, we recommend you respond in the review center to request a call with an Apple representative. You can also schedule an appointment with App Review during the bi-weekly Meet with Apple event. Sign in with your Developer ID and select App Review Appointment. A member of the App Review team will help you with your questions regarding the review process and the App Review Guidelines. Reply to Review-Spam 4.3
Hi everyone, We are facing a frustrating and seemingly automated rejection process under Guideline 4.3(a) – Spam, despite providing clear and transparent proof that our app, Minglr, is unique and originally designed. The Issue: Our app has been approved multiple times since May 2024, with four previous updates passing without issue. Now, it is suddenly being flagged as similar to other apps, despite the fact that it has a completely unique concept, UI, and functionality—which we have repeatedly demonstrated. We even provided full access to our Figma design files to prove that our UI/UX was built from scratch by our Art Director. Despite all of this, we keep receiving the same generic rejection response with no real explanation or actionable feedback. Our Concerns: The Review Process Feels Automated – We provide detailed responses, yet we receive the same copy-pasted reply without any acknowledgment of the evidence we submit. Lack of Transparency – If there is a real issue, we are more than willing to

Reply to Apple Developer Program account under investigation
I have the exact same message from Apple and my developer account is just 4 days' old.My first app was approved a day before. The second app has the exact same design but present a totally different information as i want users to have a similar experience using all my App. Anyway, I think this may have violated the following.4.3 SpamDon’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough ****, burp, flashlight, and Kama Sutra apps, etc. already. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Developer Program.Anyway, I'll wait for Apple to respond.

Reply to iOS did not update all widgets of an app when the user press a button on a widget
Hello, while creating the sample app I found a message in the debugger: Widget archival failed due to image being too large [1] - (6000, 4000), totalArea: 24000000 > max[2121055.200000]. Can you provide a table, what is the limit or how to calculate it? I found that this limit is different for all my devices. Now I use a magic number = 3.6. It is not the scale of the device screen, but something else. //ipad 10 sqrt(13.54) ~ sqrt(13) ~ 3.6 //iphone 16 pro sqrt(18.5) ~ 4.3 //iphone SE sqrt(17.59) ~ 4.1 And it is better to have documentation about it. And the archiving of images in the widget is not very fast. Especially it becomes a problem when using a long timeline. Even if the image is the same for all parts of the timeline, archiving is slow.

Reply to Apple's spam policy
Do your apps have the same icon ? Read those older posts: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/46910 https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/114079 Did you consider inApp purchase, as recommended in guidelines ? 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough fart, burp, flashlight, fortune telling, dating, drinking games, and Kama Sutra apps, etc. already. We will reject these apps unless they provide a unique, high-quality experience. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Apple Developer Program.

Reply to About guideline 4.3 Design - spam
Let me try to understand what you are writing. Your app and device is on the market (#1 above) . Now you are trying to get approval for an additional app that interfaces with a similar device marketed by a different company (#2 above where with our own should be with their own). And the additional app has now been rejected under the guideline 4.3. Is that correct? You have two avenues forward -1) create a separate developer account under your clients name and submit the additional app under that account. Be sure that the additional app is really different from the user's perspective.2) (better IMHO) update your current app so that it is a generic app that can be used by either your device or your client's device (or future clients). Under that generic app create two branded options that the user selects. Advertise your device (and have your client advertise their device) as using the well-known generic controller for photo frames.

Reply to Appeal Submission – No Confirmation or Update
Just to clarify the situation in case someone can offer further insight: It's a new app and the reason it was rejected was 4.3(b) Spam - Your app primarily features astrology, horoscopes, palm reading, fortune telling or zodiac reports that duplicate the content and functionality of similar apps in a saturated category. -- but this seems to be a misunderstanding. My app’s purpose is quite the opposite of what was stated in the rejection. It’s a science-based educational experience that uses Greek mythology as a narrative hook, then guides users through constellations (not horoscopes or zodiac signs) to explore verified astronomical (not astrological) knowledge. The goal is to inspire curiosity about the universe through astronomy and not astrology. There is no horoscope, zodiac, or fortune telling content in the app. I’d really appreciate any additional feedback or help ensuring the app is accurately understood.

Reply to App Rejected Due to 4.3.0 Spam
Spam is not only a question of code, it may be also that is app looks too close to an existing app, so the experience is not unique or category is already too crowded. 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Have you searched for other similar games on the App Store ?
