apple pencil battery life

iPhone SE battery drain wise, I'm having the same issue. Where I could previously go an entire day (including overnight) on one charge, now I can't get more than a couple of hours of battery life. Figuring the problem was a bad app, I uninstalled all apps from my iPhone and did a reset (Settings -> General -> Reset). Running the reset iPhone with no new apps installed, and the battery drain issue still persists. Even if I put the iPhone in airplane mode, the battery still drains in a couple of hours. I love my iPhone but this SUDDEN problem -- after an iOS update is making me reconsider alternatives to Apple products...

So far ios 11 beta 3 for my iphone 6s battery is much better now, than the prevous beta which i always tend to go back to ios 10.3.2 back then. and im using my phone for about a day now and seems stable and better battery life. that is what exprience now and im happy that i can use my phone with ios 11, previously on ios 11 beta 2 i exprience bad battery life which in full cycle and browsing through internet and facebook it will reduce immediately to 15% for 10 mins. which i tend to go back to ios 10.3.2.

I downloaded 14.2 for my iPhone 7. My battery is visibly draining while you look at the phone. I used to get at least 8 hours life from the battery. It now runs flat within 2 to 3 hours. I'm on the charger all the time. I also noticed my phone is running VERY HOT to touch. This is not right! If this is Apple trying to encourage us to upgrade to a new model then this is not sustainable. A perfectly good phone suddenly turned into a lemon! That's not right Apple! MB, NZ

Apple is a terrible company with terrible products. They sell inferior products at higher prices. They are the definition of a company looking to suck from people. Insane to think people still buy their crap when they intentionally push updates to kill battery life and slow phones so people will upgrade.

I wiped and restored my 42mm Watch 2 Nike.It's now getting insanely great battery life. As in, I can't believe how good it is.4.3.1.

Same iphone 6s ios 14.1. After install ios 14 battery life it's go to be terrible. 14.1 is the same with little improvements. Steve Jobs was a great man, and now his absence in Apple is most felt. R.I.P Steve, we will always remember what he did for Apple, which the others after you destroyed very quickly.

You know it's a beta 1, right?Also, after installing a new OS there's a high probability that the system is doing a lot on things behind the scenes, just because you didnt use it for two hours does not mean the phone wasnt busy.Perhaps try it out for longer than a day and see how it goes. Personally, I have no expecation of battery life for easlky beta's. iOS9 may be designed for longer battery life, but the first beta release of it probably isnt.

I think all developers understand that battery life in the first beta will never be great. CPU is working overtime, cranked up almost to max. Some people are commenting on their phones over heating which is explained by the CPU. if you are getting five or more hours out of your iPhone then your doing great. None developers understand that until the iOS 9 GM is released (and to be fair sometimes after) You cant expect any reliability from battery life, transitions wifi, bluetooth or features.

I've personally not had any issues with any past betas regarding this.Mostly Battery Life issuesOcasional Heat issues.But don't expect any call issues.

after 1 month dealing with the battery service recommend Icon and my MacBook Air 2017 turning off at 40-50% of battery I decided to downgrade to Catalina and see if the problem was to be solved, little did I know that the service recommend Icon will be gone but Big Sur broke my battery and now it’s life is at 42% 😭😭😭

I purchased Iphone SE 2020 some 1.5 months ago and after updating to IOS 14 its battery capacity goes down to 98%. just imagine in 1.5 months previously i was using iphone 6 who's battery capacity went down to 99% after 1 year with heavy use... such a poor user experience from apple. When i contacted to apple they told me its normal. Not giving 4 hrs of battery life in 2020 is not normal. Now i have to use my Iphone in lower power mode whole day. am in regret not buying pixel 4a with less price then SE 2020.

Well, flashing the update overtop of my fresh install fixed the matching standby and usage times. I will report later today if my battery life has improved.

I don't see people complaining here....rather discussing about battery life...You might have an app that needs indoor testing.... not everyone does 😉
