Reply to Mail using wrong address after update
I am experiencing the same problem, that is, my default address ends with icloud.com, but now me.com is specified within the Mail.app.I cannot even change the send-from address on the composing tab of the preferences pane, because no icloud.com addresses are available anymore....On my iPhone and iPad everything is ok and icloud.com is my email sending address.Does anyone have a solution for this?Peter

Reply to unable to debug watchOS 2 app with Xcode 7
I managed to get the Apple Watch app working on the simulator, but it doesn't work all of the time, and I can't predict when it will work. One technique that has helped me is to uninstall the Apple Watch app on the simulator (click and hold on the app, and then click the 'X' that appears). Then try running your app from Xcode.I've also tried installing/uninstalling via the Apple Watch app. Open the Apple Watch app on the iPhone simulator, find your app in the list, and tap on it. Untoggle the option that says Show App on Apple Watch to uninstall the app, and then toggle it to reinstall the app.Hopefully these techniques work for others as well. Again, it doesn't work all of the time, but it's better than not being able to run your app at all!

Reply to Does WatchKit Extension code run on watch in watchOS 2?
I'm still trying to catch up here. jgobble, how does your current app work in the 2.0 simulator? As in, you've got lat/long being run on the watch (ie background in the phone) and displayed on the watch. What happens when watch 2.0 asks for a lat/long position? does it just fail now because the watch has no GPS, or is it smart enough to get it from the phone? In other words, will current code asking for lat/long still work, or does it have to be redone with watchConnectivity to work now? As you say, a lot of stuff to have to redo so soon after the 1.0 release! thanks for the help here.

Reply to watches 2 downgrade
Does anyone have a solution to this?I wanted to test out iOS 9 and watchOS 2. Neither of them worked well enough for me to really develop on. I mostly did this because I wanted to test out the new custom complications feature available to developers in watchOS 2, and as far as I know, this is not possible in the watchOS simulator still.I downgraded my iPhone 5S and iPad Air to iOS 8.3 no problem. I cannot downgrade my Apple Watch 42mm Black Sport to WatchKit 1.0.1 (I think that was the version of it, it was the first official update to the Apple Watch).Right now, it seems that until I put iOS 9 back on my iPhone 5S, I cannot use my Apple Watch, because I cannot pair with it using iOS 8.3. I have looked everywhere and no one seems to have a solution to this. Can I go to the Apple Store and get my Apple Watch reset with that hidden debug port underneath the removeable strap?I need to get my Apple Watch functioning again ASAP.P.S. watchOS 2 beta was especially horrible for anything network-relat

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
My usage and standby times are the same. 4:48 for both, 57% batt. Turning off mobile data did nothing. Fresh install on iPhone 6. I will be installing the beta again with iTunes overtop of my current install when I get home to my Mac. I remember when flashing Roms on my old droid, sometimes it helped to flash it a few times if there were issues.

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
This is not my experience with other Betas from IOS 5 on... my phone does run hot, (64 GB iPhone 6), and was dead after 6 hours. I also sent a message to Step Tracker, and he has fixed the half count on IOS9 as of this date. One thing to note: the steps did not count after the battery went dead this monring. I have been running it since day before yesterday as well as El Capitan, which seems much more refines.

Reply to watchOS 2 beta still working with iOS 8.3?
Just tried pairing Watch OS2 beta to iPhone 6 on iOS 8.4 and it can't be done - through standard pairing procedure or through manual pairing. The message iPhone out of date. Please update your iPhone to the last version of iOS to start pairing.

iOS 9 App Store not letting download free apps.
I don't know if anybody else is experiencing the same issue but at least on the iPhone 6 Plus I cannot download free apps from the app store when running iOS 9. You tap get and it turns into instal but after clicking instal it switches back to get.I don't know if there is a fix either, but if anyone has any idea what's going on let me know.

Reply to Motion Calibration & Distance Disabled?
Absolutely same for me. No distance or speed on any of the Workouts programs. For me, this is the one feature on the Beta that was is 100% NOT functioning, even after Factory Resetting both the Phone and the Apple Watch as new devices. So I am guessing that has been disabled somehow.

Location problem in watchOS 2?
How odd. I'm at WWDC, but watchOS 2 think I'm in the South Atlantic Ocean! My iOS9 iPhone 6 is still convinced I'm in San Francisco though...
