unable to verify Update
So I put ios 9 on my iphone 6 as required for WatchOS2. I then put the profile on my iphone and installed it on the watch. Watch rebooted. Every looked fine. So i went to the software update part on the Apple Watch app and it downloaded the update. It then asked for my passcode to install it, I put it in. It then asked me to proceed, I clicked proceed. It tries to install for about 5 seconds and gets an Unable to verify update message. It states that it can't verify the update since I'm not connected to the internet. I am on Wi-fi as the instructions stated. So I went to safari and tested some websites - they work fine.Anyone else getting the Unable to verify update error? Any work around it?

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
I also found that turning off nearly everything in General/Search (except for Applications and Contacts) and flipping off Siri helped. I was getting 1.5 hours of battery performance before. I'm now at 9 hours with 48% of my battery still left on the iPhone 6.

Does group messaging work properly?
I've got the beta installed on my iPad Mini 2. I just happened to look at the message responses to a group message that I sent which originated from my iPhone 6 Plus (on iOS 8.3) which was sent to a mix of iMessage and regular SMS accounts, and while my original group message was contained in a group message thread, all the responses to it came back in individual threads. I verified that on my iPhone they are all coming back as part of the group message thread. Only seems to be an issue on the iPad and on the iPad with iOS 9 (previous group messaging on iOS 8.3 and below worked as expected).I also checked in Settings -> Messages to see if the Group Messaging option was enabled, and it isn't there anymore. (For that matter, neither is MMS Messaging.) Can anyone else verify that Group Messaging is or isn't working for them as expected?

Reply to Both watchOS 1 and watchOS 2 in the same iOS app bundle
Yeah I'm seeing running OS2 is difficult right now. Hopefully still can get some answers to get a clear picture in my mind.So if we need to support 1.0, 1.0.1 and 2.0 for some time, there will be the below FOUR targets.1. I'm assuming that when the user installs the App via the Appstore, then the appropriate target will get installed on his device?2. Distribution will now mean having the below number of bundle idsTarget ecosystem will look like below:1. The iPhone app Target = iPhone App Bundle IdFor prior verisons of Watch2. Watch extension Target = extension's bundle id as per the parent iPhone App Bundle Id3. Watch App Target that works for 1.0, 1.0.1 = Watch App's bundle id as per the parent iPhone App Bundle IdFor 2.04. Watch App Target for 2.0 = Assuming that the bundle Id for this will be based on the parent iPhone App Bundle Id but will follow different naming conventions and will need to be created ?

Should I let Xcode 7 convert my code to Swift 2?
I've been working on an app written in Swift, and I recently updated my iPhone to the iOS 9 beta. I then tried to test my app on the phone but Xcode 6 said that I couldn't because my version was not supported. So I went ahead and got the Xcode 7 beta. When I opened my project it asked me if I want it to convert my code to Swift 2 syntax. What should I do? There aren't that many changes it wants to make. Will my Swift 1 code still run in a Swift 2 compiler?

Anything I'm missing?

Accessing data via shared data container vs openParentApplication:reply:
Hi,I am just starting to make an apple watch app/extension for an app that I already have on the iPhone. On the iPhone the app has a core data store that it uses to store data. Looking at Apple's documentation it seems that the right way to access this core data store on the watch would be to setup the data store in a shared app group container. To do this I would also need to perform the following steps :1. Migrate the existing data store from the current location into the shared container on app startup (at least the first time)2. Take care of cases where the core data store is encrypted (we encrypt the sqlite DB underneath) and also figure out if that will conflict with the migration in step 1.The steps above are possible to do although they are not trivial.I was wondering what issues would there be if I was to avoid this step altogether (using the shared container) and simply called openParentApplication:reply: everytime my watch app needed data ? My gut instinct tells me that this method

MacBook Pro Now Having SSD Space Issue
I installed El Capitan today and have noticed an odd problem with available space on the SSD. Before the install the drive had 130GB available but dropped to 82GB after the install. Weird enough but then I trashed a 50GB file and as it was emptying from the trash the available SSD space actually steadily DROPPED to 62GB. Any insights?

Force Touch Trackpad Issue
Since updating to El Capitan, my touchpad on my MacBook Pro with Force Touch seems to get stuck if I leave it alone for a few seconds. If I try to move my cursor, it won't move, I have to click and then it becomes responsive. Has anyone else experienced this?

Reply to Access to gyroscope?
There is no gyroscope in the watch - at least that's what i was told in the lab. If you want to use a gyroscope, you'll have to access the phone. A bummer for sure.

Reply to Error Launching WatchKit Extension
Hmm. Removed the app from both iPhone and Watch simulators seems to have fixed the problem... Thought I already tried that, but ¯_(ツ)_/¯?
