I upgraded to El Capitan on an extra Macbook I have and it hasn't booted up once, it keeps restarting about 80% into the load process. Has anyone else seen this or know of a fix? I might restore from my backup.

It's been stuck at about 3/4 of the way there for the last 20 minutes. I got a message that iMessage was added to the watch across my iPhone & Mac, and in the Apple Watch app it says its on software 2.0.What should I do? I really dont feel like making this thing brickand bringing it to the Apple Store.
I was able to do the upgrade to 10.11 video the upgrade method, but it says OS X Yosemite in about my mac at first, closed the window re-opened it and now it says el-capitan!. Onword to start my fiddling around and see what breaks.Edit:Oh i'm usingMacbook Pro Mid-2014 running VMWare Fusion 7.1.1 (Professional Version 7.1.1)Jeff

Briefly...Update your phone to iOS 9 BetaThen, navigate to the developer watchOS beta page and click the beta security profile link to install on your Watch (when you click the link the phone will ask where you want to install it). Then, open the Apple Watch app and check for updates.

Thank you! So I assume that I would need to download the profile onto the phone then. I originally installed it on my MacBook Pro. I think the problem was that I didn't have iOS 9 yet, so the profile wouldn't download.

Yeah, you have to do it on the phone. And you do need iOS 9.

So you currently have 2 apps (one ipad and one iphone) and now hoave one universal app? Is that what your asking? If so, then no. One group of people will have to pay again to switch to the other app as they have two different ID's so they for all intents and purposes different apps. If both groups originally paid for the app you could do somethign creative with a bundle but there's no ideal solution to your problem.

Have installed on rMBP mid 2014 installation was smooth and pretty stable for a beta. However It is picking up my home network and connects to it but no internet connection. Other devices including iOS devices are connecting and using the internet connection without issue. Have also tried connecting to iPhone and iPad personal hotspots and internet still does not work. I have run first aid and reset the Pram but none of these have helped.Anyone else having the same issue.
I can ping my iPhone from the same network with no packet loss.OSX 10.11 works fine using the same Wi-Fi router (latest Time Capsule).

I need to adapt to different ios version of the application of, but my iphone is the latest version. How to lower version?
Hmm... and you've tried to reset your network settings right?Worst case would be to backup your phone and try a full reset....out of curiousity were you able to ping a FQDN with results? Did it resolve?

From the iOS 9 Beta Software Installation Guide:System RequirementsiOS 9 beta supports iPhone 4s or later, iPod touch (5th gen), and iPad 2 or later. iOS 9 beta should be installed using the latest released version of iTunes ...Only iPad 2 or later? Really? Then how did I just install it on a first gen iPad mini?
If your watch is paired to your phone, and your phone is connected to the Mac, it will show up in the Devices window under your iPhone.
