same here. I did very pretty basic stuffs with world tracking config on iPhone 16 pro, frame drop is everywhere. I even tested with Apple sample code with world tracking config and the result is the same. Hope Apple engineers are aware of it.

Same here. New iPhone 16 pro, iOS 18.1 beta, Apple Intelligence stuck at 99%. I’ve tried disabling/enabling it, switching languages just to see the download restart and it just keeps getting stuck at 99%.

This bug still exists in iOS 18.2 beta 3. Why is such a critical issue not fixed yet? I have to wait several seconds for my 2FA notification to arrive for example. And my iPad doesn't have this problem with AI enabled, why is my iPhone 16 Pro having this issue?

I’m having the same issue. I drive a VW Taigin in India. Location keeps jumping to opposite side of road or in the middle of ocean. This is happening on both iPhone 13 pro and iPhone 16 pro. I am encountering a similar issue with a code that works perfectly on all devices except the iPhone 16 Pro Max: I observe a significant random slowdown that occurs when using AVAssetWriter. The issue only appears at the launch of the application (e.g., when it hasn't been used for several hours).

In my case, the problem was caused by an external display connected via USB. When I connected the iPhone 16 Pro with a USB cable, it appeared in Finder but not in XCode. The external display was made by LG and I was using it in clamshell mode. Once I disconnected the USB connection to the external display, XCode was able to recognize the iPhone.

Have the same issue, iPhone 16 Pro 256g, after install started phone shut off now I'm getting dead battery screen, when you plug in to charge just low battery screen, can't force reset. I was at 70% battery and plugged in while the update was installing. Now the phone is bricked.

Hello @HeYingJian, Your issue stems from the topic mentioned in this TN3177: Understanding alternate audio track groups in movie files. In short, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro can record a stereo and Spatial track for the same movie. It is incorrect to mix those tracks together. Your app is mixing them together with AVAssetReaderAudioMixOutput, and that is resulting in this issue. -- Greg

iPhone 16 pro, iOS 18.0.1 filmed an 8 minute video on 4K at 60fps. Can only watch the video from the beginning; cannot skip through or the video does not play (but sound does). If I crop the end and save as a new video (last minute or so) it’s just completely black.
