Can't edit screenshots while waiting for review

I'm not able to edit app's screenshots while it's in waiting for review status. I had to reject the binary to update the screenshots. Is this a recent change? It still says the following message too.

You can edit all information while your version is waiting for review. To submit a new build, you must remove this version from review.

Just noticed that this morning. Wonder when they changed this?

I can't swap screenshots or remove any of them, either. I've been waiting for a fix for the past four hours. I hate to waste my time.

I'm having the same issue, is this something that was changed or just a bug?

Same here. So annoying... I hope it's just a glitch and will be solved in a few hours

It's not a glitch that they are likely to fix in a few hours. I've been waiting for three full days. I have reported the issue to Apple, Inc. Their response suggests that I don't know how things work, telling me that you are allowed to swap images only if the application in question currently awaits a review. He recommends that I use the latest version Safari although I never mentioned that I use it to access iTunes Connect. I guess that's what you get for a $99 membership fee. I'm just one of 9 million members.

Same here, still not fixed. Wonder when it will be. 😠

Same issue here. Has anyone had any definitive answer either way?

Try with iTMSTransporter, but no more upload. The following error message is returned :

ERROR ITMS-4029: "Version '1.0', Locale 'en-US': software_screenshots cannot be edited in the current state" at Software/SoftwareMetadata/SoftwareVersion/SoftwareVersionLanguageDetail

I am also facing the same issue. Don't know why this happening!!!

Use the element inspector in you browser on the sceenshot you want removed. Above it in the html you'll find your missing delete button. Remove the "ng-hide" class from the html and VOILA the button appears for you to use. Had the same problem today.

Same issue! It is annoying!

They should have at least notified everyone!

It is interesting that they say: "

You can edit all information while your version is waiting for review. To submit a new build, you must remove this version from review.

"

Almost 4 full days have passed. There's been no fix.

Same issue for me. I just submitted and it immediately locked it. Think I should remove the submission and add final screenshots before submitting again?

I'm also having this problem when trying to modify the app preview video. My app has been waiting for a few days now and we're on a tight schedule so we don't want to remove and re-add the submission, but I would if I could rather than wait for a possible fix. Once it's "In Review" those app details are locked!

I wouldn't advise trying to mess with this, but just for debugging I inspected the webpage data. Tracing through the code it looks like it's bailing out of allowing dropped files in the "drop zone" (where you upload images/videos) if the screenshots are set to "isEditable = false". The short story is that images are locked right now and that appears to be set by the Apple server on the app, rather than being a client-side webpage bug.

Please fix this! The wording on all the FAQs and help pages I could find state that screenshots (and app preview video) should be editable while waiting for review.
