On Applepay's docs it talks about the ability to do "flexible" payments and scheduling for future purchases. We need to be able to make only a single approval of an Apple payment for multiple submissions later on. Think, deferred payments at an arbitrary schedule without presenting the ApplePay dialog each and every time. The docs suggest that may be possible, but are maddeningly vague on how to do that. Is it possible or not? Can we store an approved merchant's token for example and leverage that for future transactions?

According to the documentation, Apple issues merchant certificates for 25 months, and this has been the case for several years. However, in the past six months, the issued certificates have been valid for only 3 months, which causes significant inconvenience. Our company sells insurance and we'd like to offer annual renewals via Apple Pay on the Web. Most of the docs seem to point towards using recurringpaymentrequest but this method required an amount value which would only be calculated at renewal time. It appears that Shopify is doing something akin to what we want where they do auto payments so my question is can we do annual payments with unknown renewal prices with Apple Pay for Web ? What we cannot do is show the renewal price like this as it being insurance is almost certain to change. Upon debugging the WKWebView, we received the following error message: "400 No required SSL certificate was sent" when attempting to process the payment. Currently, we are using a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. Could you please confirm whether this certificate is suitable for Apple Pay, or if we should be using a different SSL certificate?

Apple’s documentation says to host the verification file at: https://yourdomain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association And the portal itself seems to expect the file to be served with .txt extension during verification. My first verification passed, but subsequent checks are failing — and I’m wondering if this mismatch is the cause. Should I Keep the .txt and configure my server to serve it at both paths? Hi everyone, I am new to Apply Pay, but I have already implemented IAP for subscriptions in my app. My app also has other functionalities, it also acts as a person-to-person marketplace, as users can post events or online courses which can be bought by other users to participate. My question is that I have read Apple's review guidelines but it is still unclear for me if I can use Apple Pay (with for example Stripe) or do I still need to use IAP for this online content. Also non profit organizations also can register which can recieve donations, can I also use Apple Pay for that or do I still need IAP there, because it would be nice if Apple would take 30% of donations.

It's a platform where authors can sell ebooks and anyone who purchaes an ebook, the money goes pretty much directly from the buyer's PayPal to the seller PayPal through the use of PayPal Multiparty where my platform acts as a third party that takes a fee. I'm currently building a React-Native app for my website and coming close to needing to integrate payment solutions. As far as I'm aware, Apple only allows Apple Pay payments for IAP and subscriptions? How would this work for my model? Can I integrate PayPal into Apple Pay like I do with my website? If not, what's the alternative?

Since launching Apple Pay on our platform we have received a new Domain Verification File and looking at some of the Domain Verification File that are hosted on the domains they are different to ours. Questions around the Domain Verification File Would we have to update every single Domain Verification File every time we receive a new one ? Does the paymentSession verfiy/call the Domain Verification File on the domain listed at https://[DOMAIN_NAME]/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association ? Hi Guys, I am having an issue verifying a card when it is pending verification in the Apple Watch Wallet App and the iPhone Wallet. When the user verifies the card in the wallets, they are redirected to verification in my APP. However, the problem is that I don't know which application is calling, whether it is the Apple Watch or the iPhone, because the URL sends me the same serialNumber from the PKPASS. It is impossible to know if the user wants to verify and activate the card on the watch or the iPhone. So I'm wondering if Apple makes commission on those payments since they're made in the app. For example a user may pay another user to clean their car. This will be handled with Stripe Connect and their balance, payment history, etc will be displayed in the app. Does Apple charge commission on that?
