App submission under review for 1.5 month
Hi, I submitted my app, for the first time, the 2024-02-29. the same day I received this message: Hello, Thank you for submitting your app for review. We need additional time to evaluate your submission and Apple Developer Program account. Your submission status will appear as "Rejected" in App Store Connect while we investigate. However, we do not require a revised binary or additional information from you at this time.…… Since that I’ve no news from the app review team and no answer neither online in the appstoreconnect. Does anyone know what can I do? Is there any possibility to know what is going on or what is taking so long ? Thanks in advance. Fabio

The details page includes the title, description, cover image, and price list of each game what should i do ?

App Rejection Guideline 5.1.1 (ix) - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storag
Apple Rejection as Follows The app must be published under a seller and company name that is associated with the organization or company providing the services. In this case, the app must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the OrthoCare Institute name. The guideline 5.1.1(ix) requirements give users confidence that apps operating in highly regulated fields or that require sensitive user information are qualified to provide these services and will responsibly manage their data. Next Steps from Apple The app must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the OrthoCare Institute name. If you have developed this app on behalf of a client, you may resubmit the app through their account, if they have one. You may also request an update to the company name on your account by having the Account Holder edit the account information. Please note that you cannot resolve this issue with documentation showing permission to publish this app on behalf of the content owner or institution. Apple Developer account :- Company Name: Everglade Orthopedic Enrolled as Organization My app has OrthoCare Institute Name used in App icon, Splash screen and Landing page. I would like to know only by creating a new developer account with OrthoCare Institute as company name i will be able to publish. Since we have a ongoing business with Everglade Orthopedic. I have removed institute name from OrthoCare and then sent for review again and it got approved. This does not solve the problem for us, since we want to use OrthoCare Institute. Note: All names and institutional references used in this communication, including "OrthoCare Institute" and "Everglade Orthopedic," are pseudonyms intended for illustrative purposes only.

App Developer's Struggle with Prolonged Review Process and Lack of Support
Hello, sorry. I'm not sure if this is the right channel, but I'm desperately trying to get some movement in the app review process. I'm still stuck on 'waiting for review.' I submitted my app for review a second time on March 22nd, after having already submitted the same app on March 2nd. Since then, it has been in the 'waiting for review' status. I've called the support in Germany five times, and each time, I receive the same response: 'It should only take 24 hours.' 'We can only forward it.' 'If you don't receive a response in two days or get an email, please contact us again.' Is there any way to get a more concrete answer than 'it should only take 24 hours'? Thank you very much.

My application always rejected, reason app's icon identical with other apps
Our application was already on the app store before, we did not change the app icon from the first time our application was approved to the app store in 2017.But recently when I submit application to app store, we received this reject message: "Guideline 4.3 - Design We noticed that your app icon is still identical to the icons of other apps already submitted to the App Store. Apps that use the same icon make it difficult for users to find apps and are considered a form of spam." We need help. Thanks

Unable to Get App Store Approved for 1 Month
I released an app last year. For months I was able to send updates and get approved with fairly little friction. Mar 12, 2024 I submitted a build that got rejected. I made subsequent fixes and submissions that were rejected again the following day, twice on the 14th, and the 16th. Most of all the rejections were inaccurate metadata and minimum functionality. Which is odd because the app has existed virtually the same way since last year, when getting approved was not a problem. The only difference as of recent is we've had a tiktok go viral and led the app to start charting. On the 17th I made a submission that fulfilled all requirements. I was marked "In Review" from the 17th to the 23rd. Yes a full week. I canceled my submission on the 7th day and resubmitted with a change I thought they'd potentially look for. It has been "Waiting for Review" since then. Going on 14 days. I contact support every 3 days however they've only responded once, saying they are "proceeding with an expedited review" however it's never shifted to in review. I'm really hoping someone at apple can intervene and help break through, or if anyone that has had a similar experience share some advice. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/flirt-with-emma/id6454720049

Guideline 5.2.1 - Legal - Intellectual Property
Hi I wrote an app to control my garage door and the light inside the garage using ESP8266. Apple has rejected my app regaridng Guideline 5.2.1 - Legal - Intellectual Property, i couldn't get enough information from the app reviewer whether i should apply a patent for my app to show it's mine or get a letter from the ESP8266 manufacturer that i can use their product with my app. The warning below to me. Your app includes content or features from GarFi, or is marketed to control external hardware from GarFi, without the necessary authorization. The inclusion of third-party content within your app, whether retrieved from the internet by the app or embedded in the app, is subject to the terms of the Apple Developer Program License Agreement. Your app and its contents should not infringe upon the rights of another party. In the event your app infringes another party’s rights, you are responsible for any liability to Apple because of a claim. Next Steps To resolve this issue, please attach documentary evidence in the App Review Information section in App Store Connect. Once we have reviewed your documentation and confirmed its validity, we will proceed with the review of your app. Alternatively, please remove the third-party content from your app and its metadata. can anyone help me on this ? Thanks in advance Erinç

Need help with app's rejection multiple times with same review guidelines of Duplicate content and Intellectual Property
We have published an app to show biblical information from a book "God's Word written in the stars" for all constellations and sub-constellations. This is not a star gazing app and we are not duplicating any content whatsoever. We are building the sky image, the constellation images by ourselves and the content is from the above mentioned book. We have published the app 2-3 times but every time we get rejected owing to following design guidelines: Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam This app duplicates the content and functionality of other apps on the App Store, which is considered a form of spam. Guideline 5.2.1 - Legal - Intellectual Property Any help on this is much much appreciated.

We were unable to review your app as it crashed on launch
Hello, The following issues I am facing, and I have already referenced solutions from https://forums.developer.apple.com/forums/thread/747895. However, Apple still rejected and respond same issue "crashed on launch". There has two weird points: It's iPhone App. Why Apple review it via iPad Air? I have downloaded the test through TestFlight, and there have no crash happened either iPhone or iPad. ================================================================ Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness We were unable to review your app as it crashed on launch. We have attached detailed crash logs to help troubleshoot this issue. Review device details: Device type: iPad Air (5th generation) OS version: iOS 17.3.1 Next Steps To address the crash in your app, follow these steps: Fully symbolicate the crash report. See Adding Identifiable Symbol Names to a Crash Report for an explanation of the symbolication process. Match the crash report to a common pattern. Based on the pattern, take specific actions to further investigate the crash. See Identifying the Cause of Common Crashes. Test your app on a device to ensure that it now runs as expected. Once you’ve addressed the crash, create and submit a new build to the App Store for review. Resources For additional information on crash reports, see Diagnosing Issues Using Crash Reports and Device Logs. Support Reply to this message in your preferred language if you need assistance. If you need additional support, use the Contact Us module. Consult with fellow developers and Apple engineers on the Apple Developer Forums. Help improve the review process or identify a need for clarity in our policies by suggesting guideline changes.

About Guideline 1.4.5 - Safety - Physical Harm
Greetings to everyone, An application we developed with our team could not get approval from Apple review despite trying it many times. The purpose of the application is to measure and record your speed over a period of time. We added voice command to make the application safe. We also prevented the use of the screen while in motion. Despite this, they do not accept the application for the same reason. Does anyone have experience before? We need any advice and help.

App rejected due to Guideline 3.2.2 - Business - Other Business Model Issues - Unacceptable
Hi! I'm trying to upload a new app, featuring a desktop console videogames catalogue where users can search, compare reviews & pricing, plus watching videos / screenshots and full detail of each videogame. The apple review team rejected it claiming that: We noticed your app displays apps other than your own for purchase or promotion in a manner similar to the App Store. Please note that features such as filtering, bookmarking, searching, or sharing recommendations are not considered to be significantly different from the App Store. However, my app has nothing to do with app store nor the apps that appear on it, but as said, it helps to search & find desktop console videogames. Any piece of advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
