Hi,
It would be sure if Apple creates a Fgima plug in to convert designs to SwiftUI, no one can do it like Apple and it would be SUPER and super time saving !

I placed apple.logo symbol image on the top of a view. This view is used to link or unlink Apple ID for user. In the middle is the apple sign in button. I want to use something to describe or represent what the view is, instead of using text description. so I think sign in's company logo is a good choice. Is it allowed by apple official?
Hi community,
I have a question regarding MusicKit, is it necessary to follow a design guideline to integrate this framework into my App?
Also, when no music is reproducing in MusicKit which placeholder we should show, do you provide the resource? Or can we create our own placeholder?
Thanks for all,
David.
We are working on one of the projects for Hackathon for which we need to access the 3D Models of Apple Watch, it will help in making our project more realistic and effective, I wanted to know if we can get access for the same.
When I create a tab group for the sidebar on iPad, the title and disclosure triangle act like a single control. Every time I tap the section title, the disclosure triangle for that section activates and hides or exposes that section's children and actions.
I want the section title to behave like Photos, where tapping a section title just displays its view controller, and the disclosure triangle is a separate control that must be tapped to hide and show children and actions.
I did not see any delegate methods that would let me control this behavior. Is this supported?
Why my app icon doesn't have effect liquid glass on ios26. My team dev still not upgrade to xcode26, so I have to export icon for them. And I don't see the effect like stroke of the detail.
Hello everyone! The Swift Student Challenge officially starts tomorrow (February 3rd), and I have a question. Am I allowed to use tools like Photoshop to create artwork for my project? I’d appreciate any clarification. Thanks in advance!
For a school Project im making a iOS app that displays vending machines on a Map. My problem is that there is this huge navigation bar on top of the screen without even having a navigation view anywhere in the code.
In the preview the bar is not shown, but when I upload the app to my phone or run it in the simulator the bar is there.
Development environment:
Simulator: iOS 26 beta 3 iPhone 16 (for testing)
Simulator 2: iPadOS 26 beta 3 iPad Air 13 inch (M3) (for testing)
Connected Device: iPadOS 26 beta 3 iPad Pro 11 inch (M4) (for testing)
Dev Device: macOS Tahoe 26 beta 3 Macbook Air
When using the NavigationSplitView element, the sidebar has a built-in panel toggle button.
However, when I click the toggle button to toggle the sidebar section in SwiftUI 26 on both simulator 2 and the connected device, it has a slight animation glitch before going back to normal. What's going on?
This is my code for the specific view that has the NavigationSplitView (and all views are connected through TabViews):
RecordsPage.swift
Here are image references:
When I clicked the toggle:
After 1~2 seconds:
These images are in the state of the panel being hidden.
I have completed a code with chatgpt and I am unising the latest version of code. i am also using an m1 MacBook air (2020). would love to know if anyone have resolved this issue. by using the ai to correct the code it disrupts it with something. an incorrect imoout line, but after multiple attempts ai get it right. I have notice that the code shows up on the start meaning run, take some time to load the intro page.
Will the draw (animation) functionality of SF Symbols be available when symbols are cut/pasted into a Keynote presentation? Better yet, will the draw tools from SF Symbols 7 be available in Keynote for objects created in Keynote?
Just updated to newest beta of 18.2. The update corrects several major email issues but now I am only able to pull sone of my emails when I open mail.
after opening my mail on the 18.2 iPhone 15 pro max I am ablevto pull only 1 message from Xfinity. When I check on my pc using outlook 2016 I am able to pull 18 additional messages. Going back to my iPhone after a half hour the additional mail messages still do not show up even after doing a hard reset of the phone.
apologies, but these mail issues need to be resolved. It is bothersome that ios 18 was even released to the public at all with these type of issues.
Hi there
I have developed an offline algorithm for calculating tides, which works based on the built-in database of tidal stations in some regions. The algorithm works correctly and the results match the real data.
I would like to receive and add moon data from Weather Kit to the algorithm for performance improvement experiments. What requirements do I need to apply to the application so that I can use data from Weather Kit in my algorithm ?
Liquid Glass was introduced as a universal design language for all platforms, but isn't supported by visionOS 26 beta.
For a small team creating a visionOS app targeted for release in fall 2026, should we focus our design work on Liquid Glass, or for the existing visionOS design language?
There is a display issue when browsing wireless networks in the dropdown menu.
In iOS version 18.1.1, the Wi-Fi switch is in the closed state;
Step 1: Open the notification dropdown, and the first image bug appears;
It will take some time for it to display [normally.]
I am developing an app that requires calling the iPhone's Face ID module to scan users' facial data. Where can I find Apple's design resources and guidelines for Face ID? The Face ID resources available in Figma are incomplete, and I need more support.
For example, in the iPhone settings, the scenario: the UI interface for scanning the user's face to collect data, specifically the circular design in the "How to Set Up Face ID" screen.
I couldn't help noticing that the Maps and Find My apps make extensive use of "sheets stacked on top of each other" to represent its navigation hierarchy, with a "new content comes in from the bottom" orientation instead of a navigation stack with
"new content comes in from the right side" oriented transitions.
I'm interested in this topic because I have a similar navigation-hierarchy-over-a-map case in my app (with a custom map view though) and I'm torn back and forth between the approach of replicating the "stacked sheets" vs. putting a navigation stack in a sheet, esp. with the navstack approach being way more attainable with the iOS 26 glass design.
I couldn't find any guidance for this kind of UI in the Human Interface Guidelines; I'm leaning towards the navstack-approach for my app; but in terms of the behavior of the SwiftUI container views in this scenario it seems a little bit of an uphill path.
Any thoughts on what pattern should be preferred for presenting a deep navigational hierarchy on top of a map-like view?
The new photos update is just messy, there was no reason to make changes to it, I also noticed it makes the videos lower quality for some reason. Also I sont understand why emojis were made bigger, looks very tacky now. I wish my phone never automatically updated to this..
How do I import a Reality Composer project into Blender (Windows x86_64)
Hi Apple developer community. I have a question a lot of users don’t like the new control center and notification center. Are you guys gonna blur the background or are you guys gonna keep it the same?
