Apple intelligence
I recently updated my iPhone to iOS 14.2 and the playground app came and then I couldn't open it because I hadn't released it yet. Today it released it and I rediled the notification but I went to look for it to test it and I couldn't find it anymore. How do I make the PLAYGROUND app come back from Apple smart. Como faço para baixar novamente o app?

"failed to processImage" in videoProcessor
Hello, I’m working on a program that analyzes video files frame by frame to detect human poses in each frame. However, during the process of reading observations from the stream, the analysis frequently stops with the following error: [LOG_ERROR] /Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/MediaAnalysis/VideoProcessing/VCPHumanPoseImageRequest.mm[85]: code -18 [LOG_ERROR] /Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/MediaAnalysis/VideoProcessing/VCPHumanPoseImageRequest.mm[178]: code -18 The error was caught and printed using a do-catch block, and here is the output: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-18 "Error: failed to processImage" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Error: failed to processImage} While the do-catch block helps prevent the app from crashing, the frames following the error cannot be analyzed. I’m hoping to understand the cause of this error, or find a way to skip the problematic frames and continue analyzing the subsequent ones. My development environment is Xcode Version 16.0 (16A242d) and iOS 18.0. Thank you for your help. (Attaching my code below.) let videoProcessor = VideoProcessor(videoURL) let bodyPoseRequest = DetectHumanBodyPoseRequest() let asset = AVURLAsset(url: videoURL) let videoTrack = try await asset.loadTracks(withMediaType: .video).first let bodyPoseStream = try await videoProcessor.addRequest(bodyPoseRequest) videoProcessor.startAnalysis() do { for try await observations in bodyPoseStream { guard let observation = observations.first else { continue } if let timeRange = observation.timeRange { /// do something... } } } catch { print("\(error.localizedDescription)") }

iOS 27 beta 3/4: Siri AI never enrolls
Device: iPhone 15 Pro iOS: 27.0 beta 4 (same issue on beta 3) Related Feedback: FB23788932, FB23961529 (both marked "More than 10 similar reports", still Open) Siri AI / Apple Intelligence never activate. Extensive testing rules out account/region as the cause — this looks like a broken asset delivery / enrollment pipeline. Symptoms: Console (subsystem com.apple.GenerativeModels) shows repeated calls: isUseCaseAccessNotGrantedSecure: user=501, input=["com.apple.Siri.EnhancedSiriDisablement"] isUseCaseAccessNotGrantedSecure: returning granted (false); no pendingEnrollment for any of [...] ["com.apple.Siri.EnhancedSiriDisablement"] -> false This is consistent across hundreds of calls — the system never attempts enrollment, it just returns false immediately, every time. Settings > General > iPhone Storage shows 3.38GB already allocated to "Apple Intelligence," but the feature never activates — suggesting an incomplete/corrupted asset set rather than missing data entirely. Toggling Wi-Fi off prompts a ~9.5GB "intelligence tools" download. Confirming it produces no progress and no result. Siri language pack downloads get stuck at 100% and never proceed to activation. Search and Siri Suggestions indexing (Settings > Siri & Search) initially shows no percentage, disappears, then reappears days later with a percentage stuck for 24+ hours despite "Last updated: X minutes ago" continuing to refresh — suggesting the background worker is alive but stuck, possibly hitting the same broken asset service. Region-dependent behavior (most useful clue): in a region NOT eligible for Siri AI (Ukraine), legacy Siri (old interface) responds normally to "Hey Siri." In a region eligible for Siri AI (US — tested with a brand-new Apple Account, region set to US, no data restored from backup), "Hey Siri" activates (wake word detection works) but the request hangs indefinitely with no response, and legacy Siri does not answer either. This suggests the system correctly detects eligibility, but there is no fallback to the legacy Siri response pipeline when the region is eligible yet the new Foundation Models assets fail to finish downloading/activating. Already tried (no effect on any of these): Reset Network Settings Reset All Settings Multiple restarts, multiple Wi-Fi networks, cellular data Changing device Language & Region to US Fresh Apple Account created with US region, Payment Method: None, signed in clean (no backup restore) — identical isUseCaseAccessNotGrantedSecure: false result, legacy Siri also silent under this account Steps to reproduce: Update iPhone 15 Pro to iOS 27 beta 3 or 4 via Software Update (not clean install). Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri — no functional enrollment progress. Toggle Wi-Fi off — download prompt appears, confirming does nothing. Say "Hey Siri" — activates, no response. Has anyone else on iPhone 15 Pro hit this specific isUseCaseAccessNotGrantedSecure / no pendingEnrollment pattern? Any word on whether this is a known/tracked issue for beta 5?

AppShortcuts.xcstrings does not translate each invocation phrase option separately, just the first
Due to our min iOS version, this is my first time using .xcstrings instead of .strings for AppShortcuts. When using the migrate .strings to .xcstrings Xcode context menu option, an .xcstrings catalog is produced that, as expected, has each invocation phrase as a separate string key. However, after compilation, the catalog changes to group all invocation phrases under the first phrase listed for each intent (see attached screenshot). It is possible to hover in blank space on the right and add more translations, but there is no 1:1 key matching requirement to the phrases on the left nor a requirement that there are the same number of keys in one language vs. another. (The lines just happen to align due to my window size.) What does that mean, practically? Do all sub-phrases in each language in AppShortcuts.xcstrings get processed during compilation, even if there isn't an equivalent phrase key declared in the AppShortcut (e.g., the ja translation has more phrases than the English)? (That makes some logical sense, as these phrases need not be 1:1 across languages.) In the AppShortcut declaration, if I delete all but the top invocation phrase, does nothing change with Siri? Is there something I'm doing incorrectly? struct WatchShortcuts: AppShortcutsProvider { static var appShortcuts: [AppShortcut] { AppShortcut( intent: QuickAddWaterIntent(), phrases: [ "\(.applicationName) log water", "\(.applicationName) log my water", "Log water in \(.applicationName)", "Log my water in \(.applicationName)", "Log a bottle of water in \(.applicationName)", ], shortTitle: "Log Water", systemImageName: "drop.fill" ) } }

Genmoji developer support
Trying to experiment with Genmoji per the WWDC documentation and samples, but I don't seem to get Genmoji keyboard. I see this error in my log: Received port for identifier response: <(null)> with error:Error Domain=RBSServiceErrorDomain Code=1 "Client not entitled" UserInfo={RBSEntitlement=com.apple.runningboard.process-state, NSLocalizedFailureReason=Client not entitled, RBSPermanent=false} elapsedCPUTimeForFrontBoard couldn't generate a task port Is anything presently supported for developers? All I have done here is a simple app with a UITextView and code for: textView.supportsAdaptiveImageGlyph = true Any thoughts?

Siri AI shows raw TypedValueToContentGraphResolutionErrorDomain error 4 to user
I found a UI/error-handling issue involving Siri AI where a raw/internal-looking error code is shown directly to the user instead of a user-friendly message. Environment: Device: iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) iOS/iPadOS version: 27.0 Siri / Apple Intelligence enabled: Yes App involved: Files & PDF Expert UI/context: Siri AI interaction with a document from Files File type: .doc Observed behavior: I asked Siri AI to create a new note inside a document through the app integration. Instead of completing the request or showing a user-friendly failure message, iOS displayed this raw error notification: “From PDF Expert: The operation couldn’t be completed. (TypedValueToContentGraphResolutionErrorDomain error 4.)” Expected behavior: Siri AI should handle this failure gracefully and explain that it could not create a new note in the document, instead of exposing the raw error domain and error code to the user. I am attempting to install the macOS 15.1 update alongside the Apple Intelligence beta feature, to experience and then integrate into my developing application. I have a compatible MacBook Air M2 with a regional designation of the United States and language as US English, but is however purchased in mainland China. i have downloaded 15.1 but apple intelligence does not display, is this arising from buying it in China?

Is it possible to set writingToolsBehavior globally?
