Account Help
Update your account information
If you’re enrolled in the Apple Developer Program or Apple Developer Enterprise Program, and need to update your account information, such as organization name and address, you’ll need to contact Apple. You may also be asked to submit business documents for verification purposes.
Required role: Account Holder.
Name, address, or contact information
To update your name, address, contact information, associated with your Apple Developer Program membership, go to the membership details section of your developer account page to submit a request. Updates, such as changes to your name or address, must be verified and approved, as this information is associated with contracts between you and Apple. You’ll be asked to provide documentation that reflects the changes you request.
To update your personal name used in email communications and displayed on Apple websites, you’ll need to edit your Apple Account at account.apple.com. Please note that if you’re enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an individual, updating your name in your Apple Account will not change the name used for your membership or seller name on the App Store.
Updating an individual membership to an organization membership
If you’d like to update your membership from an individual to an organization, please submit a request. You’ll need to be the founder/cofounder of the organization and provide details such as your organization’s DUNS number. You also may be asked to submit business documents to verify your organization’s identity.
Transferring the Account Holder role
The Account Holder of an organization’s membership can transfer the Account Holder role to another employee on the team who has the legal authority to bind your organization to legal agreements. Account Holder transfers for individual members are granted on a limited basis and require assistance from Apple.
If you’re using a Managed Apple Account and need to make updates to the Account Holder role, contact us.
Subsidiary legal entity registration
To help manage your global business in the Apple Developer Program, you can request to add region-specific subsidiary legal entities to your account in App Store Connect. These subsidiaries will be listed as separate sellers on the App Store, and youʼll be able to set the territory, banking details, and tax information for each of them.
Requirements:
- You must have accepted the latest Paid Applications Agreement for your Apple Developer Program membership.
- The subsidiaries you want to register must be subsidiary legal entities associated with your parent legal entity that’s already enrolled in the Apple Developer Program.
- Your parent legal entity must legally own or control the subsidiaries.
- You must provide valid DUNS Numbers and legal entity names for the subsidiaries.
Your request to register subsidiaries will be reviewed and verified to confirm that the legal entities and DUNS Numbers display a valid parent-to-subsidiary legal entity relationship. Distinct legal entities and branch companies aren’t eligible.
If you need to register subsidiaries and meet these requirements, please submit a request.
