Call Blocking (CallKit) not working on iOS 26 Public Beta
Call blocking using a third-party CallKit app is not longer working with the latest iOS 26 Public Beta (23A5297m). We've tried several different Call Blocking apps (that used to work fine on iOS 18.5) and their call blocking functionality is not working anymore. All calls pass through and the phone rings on those blocked numbers. We got several user complaints about our app that is not working on iOS 26 Public Beta. We've filed 2 bug reports with Feedback Assistant: FB19140680 FB19140594 Please fix this issue in the next Beta versions of iOS 26 to have a stable iOS 26 release in the future. Thank you in advance.

Reply to iOS 26 Beta 6 in Simulator
Presumably Xcode 26 beta 6 will be released next Tuesday and that should support iOS 26 beta 6. It’s unusual that Apple released iOS 26 beta 6 only a week after beta 5 and likely a week before Xcode 26 beta 6 comes out. In short, no there is no iOS 26 beta 6 simulator yet.

How to Download IOS 26 beta runtime simulator using "xcodebuild" tool?
How to download the runtime simulators for the most recent Xcode 26 beta? The current download command I’m using doesn’t seem to work, and I’m encountering the following issues: The runtime simulator download command (xcodebuild) requires the version number to be specified explicitly. I’ve tried multiple variations of version names/numbers but haven’t been able to identify the correct naming convention used by Apple for the Xcode 26 beta simulator runtimes. $ xcodebuild -downloadPlatform IOS -exportPath ~/Downloads -buildVersion 26 Finding content...iOS 26 is not available for download. $ xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -exportPath ~/Downloads -buildVersion 26.0 Finding content...iOS 26.0 is not available for download. $ xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -exportPath ~/Downloads -buildVersion 26.0 beta Finding content...iOS 26.0 is not available for download. $ xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS

Iphone 6 plus battery on IOS 9 beta 2
Hi guys, just thought i'd share this one to see if any of you are experiencing the same weird issue. I wouldn't call it a problem at all to be honest, quite the opposite. Since updating to IOS 9 beta 2 my iphone 6 plus has suddenly developed amazing battery stamina!I charged my phone when it reached around 40 per cent the other night and took it off charge at 7:30am yesterday morning and it remained at 100 per cent all day yesterday, even with moderate to heavy usage. Last night it was still showing 100 per cent so I didn't put on charge, fearing that I might cause damage to the battery. This morning I woke up to find....... guess what...... still 100 per cent! I have used it all morning and it is still showing 100 per cent! (it is now 31 hrs after being removed from charge) I'm wondering if the phone is suddenly going to take a nose dive in the battery power department, or if something in IOS 9 beta 2 has created some weird battery

iOS 26 Beta 9 dark/light traits behaviour
I want to check if this behaviour is legit in iOS 26 Beta: We have an admittedly stranger setup where a child view controller acts as a TabBar and is a UIHostingController so that we can use SwiftUI for the tab bar items. One of the tab pages has a scrollview whose content (imagine a chat view) might go from a lighter aspect to darker colors and back when scrolling. When we scroll to predominantly dark bubbles, the trait of the tabBar changes to dark mode. The function traitCollectionDidChange() on the UIHostingController is called ! but only for the tabBar controller. I know that in iOS there is some blending going on at the tabBar level when scrolling, but changing just one view + subviews to dark mode, automatically, instead of user triggered? It might be some optimisation if the view is considered opaque? But then I would expect to not change anything visually, if opaque. Is this expected behaviour on iOS 26? And if so, can we disable

Reply to Xcode 26 / iOS 26 UISegmentedControl returns to index 0 incorrectly
Do you observe this issue on a real iPhone running iOS 26 beta? On simulators running iOS 26 beta or iPadOS 26 beta (under Xcode 26 beta 1-3), I observe the two following issues: When the first segment is selected and I select interactively a segment other than the first segment, the newly selected segment is hidden behind an opaque selection marker. This resembles the issue discussed in another thread numbered 789898. When another segment than the first is selected and I select interactively another segment than the first, the first segment is selected instead. This corresponds to the OPs observation in this thread numbered 791988). On a real device, however, the segmented control works as expected. I have tested this with the same code on an iPad Air 13 M2 running iPadOS 26 beta 3 (and with the previous betas). The segmented control also works correctly even on simulators when I sele

[Xcode 26 beta 4] Cannot receive device token from APNS using iOS 26 simulator
Since upgrading to Xcode 26 beta 4 and using the iOS 26 simulator for testing our app, we've stopped being able to receive device tokens for the simulator from the development APNS environment. The APNS environment is able to return meta device information (e.g. model, type, manufacturer) but there are no device tokens present. When running the same app using the iOS 18.5 simulator, we are able to register the device with the same APNS environment and receive a valid device token.

iOS 26 (beta) Nav Bar Item Image Insets bug
I've noticed that in iOS 26, Navigation Bar Items' Image Insets parameters as set in Xcode are not being read correctly. Specifically, it appears that on iOS 26 beta, negative inset numbers are being read as positive. Feedback report FB19838333 includes a sample project demonstrating this bug.

Reply to Initializing LanguageModelSession crashes app on macOS
Thank you @DTS Engineer! This was exactly what I had, I was building with Xcode Beta 5 and running on previous iOS 26 versions. Because of the symbol changes, building with Xcode 26 Beta 5 and running on macOS / iOS 26 Beta 4 / 3 may trigger the crash. I was able to run properly after upgrading my iOS device to Beta 5 and no more crashes! It seems you'll need to be on both Xcode 26 Beta 5 + iOS 26 Beta 5.

Latest iOS 26 Beta version seems to have bricked my phone
After my phone updated to the latest version of iOS 26 Beta overnight, I found out this morning that I cannot get past the setup process as it fails to recognise it's connected to the WiFi and is then unable to activate Apple Intelligence. I've tried bypassing this via iPhone mirroring on my MacBook, and while I can access the home screen that way, all native apps are inaccessible and 3rd party apps are only accessible via app switcher. The 3rd party apps (Slack, Instagram, etc) work fine, meaning the device has an internet connection. Unless someone has another suggestion, it looks like my only option is to remove the beta software by restoring my device - although I'm going to wait until iOS 26 is fully released later today (how convenient) as I don't want to use an iOS 18 backup and lose a bunch of stuff.

Bricked iPhone after Installing iOS 26 Beta
So I downloaded and installed iOS26 on my iPhone 15 Pro and after that it does not want to boot anymore. It shows a battery with one red line. Which is weird because before it restarted it had 80% of the battery and I had the power cable connected at all time. Now I can't boot it up anymore. Not even with the volume button up, down, power button trick. Please help!
