Rejection of VPN App for Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
Hello everyone, We are currently facing a frustrating situation: we are trying to publish an app that enables VPN connection with our platform, which is offered exclusively to our clients. However, our app is being repeatedly rejected under Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam. To clarify, this VPN app is strictly for enterprise use and only operates in specifically provisioned environments. It is not a generic VPN client and cannot function outside of its intended context. Authorship: The entire codebase is original and exclusive. The only third-party dependencies are: WireGuardKit: used for establishing the VPN tunnel (WireGuard protocol). ZIPFoundation: used for compression and decompression of packages. Uniqueness: No other VPN app on the market works with our solution. The only thing in common with some is the use of the WireGuard protocol. Our app includes an agent that reports device information to our platform for security policy evaluation and access control. It uses entirely proprietary authent

4.3 guideline; Is there a way out?
Is there a way out of this madness? If there are businesses that are impossible to consolidate their apps (i.e. when your business model is food ordering and your direct competitors are marketplaces so you cannot become a marketplace -it is stupid to have an online ordering marketplace with 100 clients throughout the world, we go for quality not quantity since we offer a premium product-), is Apple directly saying to us that we have to shut down? Is there an official and serious response from Apple as to what their Review Team has to see in order to accept apps? Should we rewrite 100.000 lines of code for each client so they are happy? Should we design separately 200 different online ordering apps so they are happy? What makes an app different enough for them? How can a development business make sure that if they have 20 clients for a specific kind of app and are under contract that they will not get drawn to the courthouse for not delivering to their clients? Is there really a way out of this madness?

Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
We have submitted an app which is published in production, however we are planning to move to use flutter and standardise the development and created the same design but name it to version 2 with new features, we are planning to migrate everything to this app but always get this issue and our appeal seems unable to reach Apple review some how. What should we do in this case?

Tagged for 4.3 Design / Spam
Well it finally happened to me. I have been waiting for it. I got for rejected for spam, on a new Sudoku App. I have a Calcudoku App. A Nurikabe App. A Kakurasu App. All with the exact same interface. And I uploaded a Sudoku App, and got tagged for similar design Spam. There is ZERO way to combine the apps, unless I want to spend a few years.I can understand how the reviewer rejected it.But the 'spam design' is actually a GOOD thing. Having a similar design for completely different puzzle games add a familarity to the user. SO he / she only has to learn a new game and not a new interface.Obviously these reviewers are not programmers, and they just follow a checklist. Ironically, this is one of my best coded apps. I computer generated Sudoku Puzzles, not an easy thing to do. (They have TED talks on it)There is nothing I can do but appeal. There is no way to fix this. It is really quite depressing. I hope some of these these App reviewers are programmers, and my appeal is accepted.

Reply to Development of apps for multiple companies/clarification on guideline 4.3, Spam
Yes, Apple believes that 4.3 applies directly to what you are doing. To quote 4.3: If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also, if your app is for use only by employees of each 'client' then consider using the Enterprise or B2B programs designed for such limited distribution.

Reject app for spam 4.3
Hello, I allow myself to contact you because following two rejections of the update of my application because of a problem of multiple bundle ID, I rechecked my package in unity, checking the version numbers in xcode is all looks okay to me? Is there anything else I could look at? I had released an update a few days before without worries, thank you in advance for your answers

Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
Dear Apple Review Team, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Pouya Saberian, I am from Italy, and my company is based in the United States. I am not a developer myself; I am simply an investor in the technology sector. Recently, I submitted the Quantum app for review and release on the App Store. However, I received a message indicating that my app has been flagged as spam due to its similarity with apps previously submitted by a terminated Apple Developer Program account. I would like to request your assistance in reviewing and resolving this issue. First and foremost, I would like to clarify that I have never had an Apple Developer account before, and this is my first time submitting an app for release on the App Store. I have one employee responsible for creating and maintaining the account. The app has been developed and submitted by my freelance team (which consists of employees from countries such as Pakistan, India, Germany, and the United States). Over time, I have had to hire three differen

Got 4.3(a) rejection after switching from personal to organization account - same app
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a frustrating situation and could really use some advice from anyone who's been through something similar. So here's what happened: I built a VPN app and submitted it from my personal developer account a few months ago. It got rejected because apparently VPN apps need to be submitted under an organization account, not individual. I went ahead and created a new organization developer account, deleted the app from my personal account, and resubmitted the exact same app. Same code, same assets, everything identical - just from the new organization account. Now I keep getting 4.3(a) spam rejections. I'm pretty sure it's because Apple's system is flagging this as the same app from different accounts even though I legitimately needed to switch account types. I've tried explaining this in my appeal responses but they just keep sending back the same 4.3(a) rejection template. I'm starting to think the reviewers aren't even reading my explanations. Has anyone dealt with

1st App - iOS App Rejection Due to 4.3 Design: Spam
Very first app, rejected for Spam? It seems this is quite common. This 4.3 spam reason, generally means the app is considered low quality or it's already saturated, right? There are only a handful of Free dinosaur sound apps, so I can't see the saturated reasoning. My app arguably looks better and has a better UI, the rest are pretty dated or are pretty basic. My app has a video for each dinosaur, with is unique to my app, compared to all the others. All sounds are original, the rest use royalty free sources. I'm really at a loss as to why it's considered spam, compared to what's already up there. Any tips on how to get my app approved? I'm not exactly sure how to make it better or more unique than the competition. Thanks
