SIM Required for Setup?
I'm unable to get through setup/activatation due to not having a SIM card installed. I'm using my old iPhone 5 and I don't have a SIM for it. In years past I was sure you were able to set up a device without a SIM. My device is provisioned and registered .Does anyone have tips for getting around this issue?

First Time Coding
Hey, I was hoping some of you guys could give me some links to somewhere which would help me learn to code with Swift. This is my first time coding, so I have no background experience at all.I have basically thought of an app idea, and I need to learn how to set up a link in the app so that the user would be able to call someone just by pressing a button in the app. If any of you woukd be able to give me any tips, any help at all would be appreciated.By the way, the app is for an iOS. In the future, I also plan on developing the app for watchOS.Thanks,Luke.By the wy, the app is for an iPhone 6, if that makes a difference.

Battery Use Worse
Prior to the update to watchOS 2, battery use was very consistent at about 4% an hour during the day. Put watch on at say 6AM and by 11 PM battery would be down to something close to 30%. That was with OS 1.01.Since the upgrade to watchOS2, battery use has been running about 10% an hour, roughly double or so the rate. Put watch on at 6AM and now at 2:30 PM its down to 16%.Anyone else seeing this level of change?

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
I'd put it down to the phone doing lots of stuff in the background like indexing things for the new search and Siri functions for now. This is always the case after a major update on OSX for me and given the changes in iOS this time around, I'd put it down to the same thing.Give it a day or so, then see how the battery is coping.

No notification
Hello, With watchOS 2 and iOS 9 (betas 1) : My Watch is not able to receive any notification from any application. It's just ringing for phone and taping for Activity update. Do you have the same issue? I read in Twitter than some people are not concerned by this problem, they receive all the notifications of their iPhone. I hope we will find a solution to use a minimum our Watches in this first beta…

Can't sign in to my MacBook Pro at all after changing icloud password
The forums made me change my iCloud password and now I cannot sign into my MacBook Pro. I try to sign in and the machine tells me This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with <myicloudaccount>. Open icloud preferences to fix this problem. with Later or iCloud Preferences buttons. I hit either button, get the beach ball and never get to my desktop. I tried in Safe Mode as well. Any ideas on bypassing the icloud login?

Use any sim, even from one a paid card that has expired, to enable long enough to get going - See Ask: How to Use an iPhone without SIM Card

I'm encountering the same problem. None of my notifications from my phone are going to my watch and I haven't received any stand reminders all day.

Reply to Third party apps not working
I unpaired and repaired the watch to the phone and at least Uber is working now. Might help out. The unpairing and repairing is a pain in the ass though.

Watch OS 2 and App Groups.
Do App Groups still work on Watch OS 2 as a mechanism for sharing files between the watch and iPhone?(Since WatchKit extension will now reside on the watch instead of the iPhone)What changes to we need to make to the existing codebase?

Does watchOS 2 connect to HomeKit accessory directly?
the HomeKit framework in watchOS 2 seems to be missing HMAccessoryBrowser. does this mean that the watch does not connect to an accessory directly but rather via the iphone? If it does connect directly, how does one brows a list of HomeKit devices on the watch?
