Reply to iOS 18.1.1 Share button not working
I have the same share button issue on various apps as well. e.g. Photos app . Already reinstalled the firmware via iTunes but did not fix the issue. In addition to that, freezing issues, battery temperature increased and battery life decreased despite 100% battery health status. I believe these are related with ios 18.1.1 as I started to experience those right after the ios update.

Reply to Battery life of watchOS3 beta2
All my devices (3 computers, 1 iPhone, 1 iPad, 1 Apple Watch) drain pretty fast too. This is expected, alas. It was always the case that beta software is not optimised for battery life. And the constant logging for crashes and errors makes it more process intensive :-/

Reply to microphone recording in background
We would like to reduce battery usage. Recording continuously will quickly drain the battery, and we only need a few seconds every few minutes. There is no good way to do this. The audio background support only allows you to continue using an audio session that you created in the foreground; it does not allow you to start a session from the background. To reduce battery life you’d have to stop the session so that you can go idle (or, better yet, suspend) but then you can’t start it again.Share and Enjoy — Quinn “The Eskimo!” Apple Developer Relations, Developer Technical Support, Core OS/Hardware let myEmail = eskimo + 1 + @apple.com

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
I found that using multiple apps that require location is a real battery drainer (e.g. Maps and FindFriends both actve).I suspect that my Home Screen usage may be related to adding FindFriends in the notification panel. In the past, battery life tends to get better as the Beta releases progress.

Reply to Battery life iOS 9 Beta 3
Beta 2 killed me on both phone & watch...I could actually watch the % drop like a stop watch! Happy to say that B3 has restored battery life on both devices back to pre beta config...hopeful that final release will see an overall increase in battery performance from 8.x 6+ 64gb

Reply to WatchOS 2 b5 ok to install?
I've had good experience with b5. Excellent battery life (YMMV) - about 18-20 hours. Also, Apple Pay works nicely. Some wonkiness with Wallet (not displaying) and some random restart issues, but definitely usable for app testing and everyday usage. Just hoping for the next update soon.

Reply to iPadOS 14 Scribble language support
Very disappointed that this feature is not available in the Dutch language. I want to use it to enter tasks into Microsoft todo with my Apple Pencil combined with taking my notes in Notability. A must have feature when to optimise your workflow with Apple Pencil.

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
And, to add to that, we have around 3 months of betas to go before we get to a release. While there might be some improvements to battery life as the betas roll out, don't bet on it

Reply to Severe Battery Drain on watchOS 11 (22R5318h)
Update 3 Today, I updated to watchOS 11 beta 5 (22R5328e) and now the battery life is worse than the previous build. There is no way to roll back to a previous version of watchOS. I request Apple to please provide an option to roll back to a previous OS via iPhone or Mac.

Curiosity: Would An All Red (Monochrome) App Save on Battery Life?
Hi. Red has the lowest energy among the visible colors.Supposing your iOS game only has red (in monochrome),if indeed red can save energy and uses less energy amongthe other colors- by how many percent, say, in iPhone Xs?How about games that are in black and white(in monochrome/grayscale)?Thank you.God bless, Proverbs 31

Reply to downgraded from ios9 to 8.3 - watch bricked
If you want to use the wathc, go back to iOS 9. Apart from worse battery life (by around 20%), it's pretty stable and usable on my iPhone 6.
