Installation does not go through
I'm trying to install on a 2009 iMac. The screen shows Installing: About 31 minutes remaining. It was showing that for few hours, so I did a force-shut down. Instead of booting up normally, it boot up into the installer. The screen still continues to show the same message. I've completely lost access to the computer. Whenever I do a force shut down and start it again, it still opens back to the installer screen. Can someone help please?!?

Reply to First install impressions?
El Capitan broke my gaming keyboard extra buttons via Razer Synapse' lack of support (essential for my emacs usage), ipod nano doesn't show up in iTunes and my external harddrive (needed to backup to get back to Yosemite!!!) also isn't accessible. Very irritated about all this.😟 Why can't there just be an easy way to go back to a previous build... I can't do a clean wipe. Very disapointed and wish I had an exit strategy.

Reply to Is Split View working for anyone?
That doesn't work. I even watched the video very carefully, everything Craig did, didn't even behave the same way. For an example, dragging an app onto a full screen app is supposed to show the + button to split it but it didn't. I think this feature is not available for all Macs yet. I'm using '12 rMBP.

Binary operator cannot be applied: NSCalendarUnit
Have the following code running in 7.0 beta (7A120f) - didn't see that as a topic in the beta forum...adjusting to the forum change.let dateComponentsFormatter = NSDateComponentsFormatter() dateComponentsFormatter.allowedUnits = NSCalendarUnit.Day | NSCalendarUnit.Hour | NSCalendarUnit.Minute | NSCalendarUnit.SecondReceiving the following build error: Binary operator '|' cannot be applied to two NSCalendarUnit operands.Did not see this error in Xcode 6, not sure if this should be filed as a bug report at this juncture. Other solutions offered by the interwebs proving unviable.Thoughts?Cheers,Josh

Pairing MFi Hearing Aids broken?
Just tried to pair MFi (Made For iPhone) Bluetooth hearing aids with an iPhone 6 running iOS 9 Beta 1. They show up in the device list under settings/general/accessibility/hearing aids, as expected, but the iOS controls for hearing aid volume etc. are not displayed. Looks like they are halfway paired. To the vendor supplied app (Kirkland Signature Choice), the hearing instruments are not present. This all worked as expected in iOS 8. Anybody with insight into this? All the other Bluetooth devices I previously had paired under iOS 8 appear to wotk fine. The only apparent issue is with the Bluetooth hearing aids, Of course, they are paired under the accessibility menu rather than the Bluetooth menu.

Hiding UISearchBar in UITableView
Note: This is a duplicate of this post... I can't seem to reply on the old forums (perhaps due to the recent archiving).Hi,I have a UISearchBar in a UITbableView. I'm usig AutoLayout.Note: Also, can't seem to insert an image in the new forum ... here's a link to the image from my old post.I would like to hide the searchBar until my search button (not shown) is touched. How can I hide and show the searchBar as needed?Using the active property as suggested by KMT doesn't really work. The only thing this appears to do is just change the focus to/from the search bar but it doesn hide. Thanks!
