4.3
Hello, Thank you for your efforts to follow our guidelines. There are still some issues that need your attention. If you have any questions, we are here to help. Reply to this message in App Store Connect and let us know. Review Environment Submission ID: 10286862-58d0-4abf-a767-24b885a8a25c Review date: June 17, 2024 Version reviewed: 1.0.0 Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. Next Steps Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality. Resources Some factors that contribute to a spam rejection may include: Submitting an app with the same source code or assets as other apps already submitted to the App Store Creat

Guideline 4.3 Rejected
Guideline 4.3 - DesignWe noticed that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam. The next submission of this app may require a longer review time, and this app will not be eligible for an expedited review until this issue is resolved.*************************************************************************Do we need to return to the era of repeated wheel building?*************************************************************************First of all, please forgive my poor English. My English is very poor, so I used translation tools.Get down to business:The APP submitted for review has not been released successfully for more than four months, with a delay of 2 months, 4.3 rejected twice and 2 months. The newly submitted APP was originally intended to be the APP before the update of the updated version. However, due to the large UI adjustment, it was submitted as a new APP because t

still under 4.3(a)
My app was originally launched in 2019 and has accumulated around 200,000 users to date. I've been actively maintaining and updating the app for the past six years. Recently, I integrated some AI-related features using DeepSeek, but after submitting the update, the app was rejected with guideline 4.3(a) – spam or misleading content. I assumed the rejection was due to the AI functionality, so I removed all AI-related features and references, then resubmitted the app. However, the app was rejected again, still under 4.3(a). This has left me confused. The app has a long history, active users, and consistent updates. I don’t publish clones or multiple versions, and everything is original work. Has anyone experienced something similar? Could it be something else in the metadata, UI, or keywords that’s triggering the rejection? Any advice or insights would be really appreciated.

Spam 4.3 (a)
Hello everyone, I’ve reached out to Apple’s review team multiple times, but unfortunately, I haven’t received any clear or specific guidance on why my app was rejected. My app has been rejected several times with the reason “Spam” under guideline 4.3, and I still don't understand exactly which part of the app is problematic. Even after providing the necessary information about the data, I resubmitted the app, and after a few days, it quickly moved into In Review status, but then was rejected within seconds with the same “Spam” message. I have sent over 13 messages asking for specific feedback, and all I get are vague responses saying “It’s spam, refer to 4.3, fix your app, and resubmit.” However, when I review the guidelines, I don’t see any specific reasons for rejection that apply to my app. I’m particularly confused because my app is a VPN, and when I check the guidelines, I see that apps in categories like dating and others are saturated, but VPN apps are not. My app uses completely dedi

4.3 Design Spam
Weve spent 20k on an app thats just been rejected as design spam.Does that mean:a) the account is marked and future reviews will be shadowed?b) theres no point in making adjustments?c) surely design is subjective - especially since the first reviewer didnt bring it up and only after it was re-submitted after answers to the res center it was 4.3'd?any advice?

Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam
Hello everyone In August 2024, I published my first app in the apple store. It took me several months, at first I received 4.3, but then I filed an appeal and it was positively approved. I finally released my mobile application. After that, I successfully released updates several times. One day I tried to release an update, but I got Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam again. How does it work? Why do I need to prove again that my app is worthy of being in the app store? Considering that the app already has positive reviews and ratings. Doesn't this mean that the application

Compute Shaders in OpenGL 4.3 vs. Metal
How much different is Metal's computer shader pipeline vs. OpenGL 4.3? I am interested in learning how to port some OpenGL compute shaders to metal for a game, but some I have heard from a manager that his dev told them it could not be done because Metal is missing some key features of OpenGL 4.3. Does anyone know what Metal's limitations are vs. OpenGL 4.3 when it comes to compute shaders? Thanks.

4.3 A Spam Design
Hi there, I need your help with a specific issue we're facing. We recently submitted our app, but it was rejected for violating Apple's Guideline 4.3 (Spam Design). Our situation is unique: our principal company ceased operations in 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and the previous app is no longer functional. The Apple Developer account and web services associated with it are also inactive. We're trying to rebuild using the legacy source code from the previous company. We don't have access to the old app or the Apple Developer Account, but we do have the source code, which is built using Xamarin. Our Android app, which uses the same codebase, is already live, and we're attempting to upload the iOS version. The support team has asked us to change the app concept, but this isn't feasible due to the app's purpose: it's designed for monitoring and reporting within our hotel management system and isn't open to the public. Changing the app would require significant alterations to our business flow, re-e
