iOS Crash on iOS 17.5.1

Have you tried debugging this in Xcode with your code? It's pretty difficult for us to figure out what's wrong while you sit there with the code...

Also, the third-party crash report you attached given no indication as to what might have crashed. I recommend that you disable your third-party crash reporter [1] and look for an Apple crash report. Once you have that, post it here (using the instructions from Posting a Crash Report) and we can take a look.
