Hello: After integrating the in app SDK, I was able to request product lists and initiate payments normally. However, when running on the emulator and using a sandbox account for payment, I did not receive any callback from the app after successful payment, and the payment would be automatically initiated again. Hello, We are currently developing an application that uses the Host-based Card Emulation (HCE) entitlement to enable corporate access functionality. With this entitlement, we have successfully established HCE communication and can interact with our access control systems to unlock doors. Our question is related to improving the user experience: We would like this access functionality to work without requiring the app to be in the foreground, as this adds friction for users during entry. Specifically, we would like to know: Is it possible for our app to coexist with Apple Wallet as the default contactless app, so that: Our app handles NFC interactions for corporate access (e.g., opening doors). Apple Wallet remains the default for payments. If that coexistence is not possible, and our app is set as the default contactless app, Will the system still need to launch our app into the foreground to complete a transaction (e.g., to emulate the NFC card)? Or is there a way to trigger HCE responses in the background (e.g., using a background process or service extension)? Any guidance on how to configure the app for optimal background access behavior, while maintaining compatibility with Wallet, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Dear Team, we are from Austria and want to test our apple pay on the web implementation via Apple Sandbox. As far as we can see Austria is not on the list that sandbox supports Apple Pay testing for. Can you please advise how can we move forward with testing? We have already created and also tried out our Sandbox account on iPhone 11 and successfully added test cards to the Wallet. Hello! I have a requirement to read the ICC Public Key Certificate from an EMV credit card to implement a payment validation flow. Aa far as I understand, I can't use Core NFC for that task since it is not supposed to be used for reading sensitive credit card data and it might be rejected by Apple. I'm trying to use Tap To Pay as it seems to offer some general card details. Since Apple's documentation on this side is pretty limited, I'm struggling to understand what is a PaymentCardReader.Token and how can I create one? Can anyone please help me with setting up Tap to Pay?

We are an acquirer/payment provider offering Apple Pay. Our merchants use our hosted checkout to accept payments. After a user pays with Apple Pay on our checkout, the Wallet transaction record shows our checkout domain as the payee. We would like it to display the merchant’s brand/name so users can recognize or contact the merchant. Is there any parameter or configuration that controls what Wallet shows as the payee? For example, can this be set via a specific field/parameter, or is it strictly derived from the Merchant ID’s display name (or other Apple Pay configuration)? What is the correct approach for a PSP/acquirer to have the merchant’s brand shown in Wallet transaction record? Additional detail: The field in question is the merchant/payee name shown in the Apple Wallet receipt—directly under the transaction amount at the top of the receipt, and again beneath the “Total” line.

We have developed Apple Wallet Extension for our App. The in-app provisioning for the card is working. However when we try to add the card from Wallet extension it gives error saying "Your issuer does not yet offer support for this card". We are writing to report a recurring stability issue with the Apple Pay sandbox environment. We are using the official sandbox test cards provided on the Apple Developer website for our testing: https://developer.apple.com/apple-pay/sandbox-testing/ We are experiencing frequent, intermittent failures when attempting to add these sandbox cards to the Wallet for testing purposes. The issue typically occurs a couple of times per day. When the failure occurs, the card provisioning process fails unexpectedly. The issue is not limited to a single card; we have observed this behavior across all available card networks. In some instances, all cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex) fail to provision simultaneously. At other times, the issue appears to be isolated to specific networks while others work correctly. Crucially, the issue appears to be temporary. After some time passes (ranging from minutes to an hour), we are able to add the exact same card successfully without making any changes to our test environment or configuration. We have diligently checked our setup to rule out configuration errors on our end. This includes verifying: The device is set to a supported region. We are signed in with a valid sandbox tester Apple ID. All other prerequisites for sandbox testing are met. The fact that the process works correctly at other times strongly suggests that this is a server-side stability issue within the Apple Pay sandbox environment rather than a persistent misconfiguration on our part. To help with your investigation, we have attached an image that demonstrates a failed attempt to add a card. Could you please investigate the stability of the sandbox card provisioning service? Otherwise, Apple Pay issues a device token for the payment request. How can we determine whether a token is a merchant token or a device token? Can I make recurring payments with the device token if it was issued instead of the merchant token? Is it necessary to include the tokenNotificationURL when generating a merchant token, or can we generate one without specifying it? Hi! I am working on automating the Apple Pay integration process in our CI/CD pipeline and would like to confirm whether a fully automated setup is currently possible for our preproduction environment. Right now, our process is as follows: A certificate is generated for the root domain and for each individual merchant subdomain. Both certificates are manually uploaded to our preproduction servers to test and verified via HTTP. We’d like to automate this flow in GitLab CI, mainly the generation of the necessary certificates programmatically or via API. However, from my research, it seems that Apple does not currently provide an API or any support to automate this task, but I’d like to confirm this directly with you. Is there any official support or workaround for this kind of automation? If not, do you have any plans to provide it in the future? Thanks in advance for your help.

However, we consistently receive an 'ApplePay reverify failed' email a month before the expiration time. Upon checking, we updated the SSL certificate for the domain before receiving the email, and the link still works fine in the browser. We would greatly appreciate any feedback from someone who can help us with this issue.

Hello, We have implemented In-App Verification using both SMS and mobile app options. While SMS functions as expected, selecting the mobile app for verification in the Wallet app does not open our app on the first attempt. Instead, the verification window simply dismisses. However, if I select "Complete Verification" again and choose the mobile app, deep linking works as expected, and our app opens correctly. This issue occurs with any bank card and app I’ve tested in Wallet. Could this be a bug in the Wallet app where deep linking fails on the first attempt but works on the second?

I am encountering an issue related to the status property within the payment object of the order.json file when opening an order in the iOS Wallet. According to the official documentation, the status property in the payment object is marked as deprecated. Based on this information, I removed the status property from the order.json. However, when I attempt to open the order in the iOS Wallet app, an error occurs, preventing the order from being opened. This creates confusion, as the documentation implies that the status property in the payment object is no longer required. However, the iOS Wallet app seems to still rely on the presence of this property or encounters an error when it’s missing. Tested on IOS 17.6.1 & IOS 18

Can i, personally, create .pkpass for other companies using my apple developer ID? In order to create .pkpass, I need to create passTypIdentifier and teamIdentifier using apple developer ID Is it okay to create those two identifiers and create coupons or membership cards for other companies? I just wonder if it is against the law or developer guide.
