I recently updated to tvOS 26 on my Apple TV 4K (1st generation) and was disappointed to find that apps I restrict no longer appear at all. In earlier versions, restricted apps would still be visible and simply prompt for a passcode — this was much more convenient for adults in the household. Now, if I restrict apps for my children, they disappear completely. To use them again, I have to go deep into settings, turn restrictions off, and even recreate the passcode each time, which is frustrating and impractical for daily use. I also tried adding a Kids user account, but most restrictions still apply system-wide. Only the Apple TV app behaves differently between users. This makes switching between parent and child accounts nearly pointless for managing access. Please consider one or both of the following: 1. Bring back the passcode-on-launch behavior for restricted apps (instead of hiding them). 2. Give each user their own isolated settings environment, like how profiles work on iOS/iPadOS or even a fresh Apple TV—this way, restrictions, home screen, and app access could be personalized. Families are a huge part of the Apple TV audience, and these recent changes have made it much harder to use the device in a shared household. Thank you!

Hey everyone. Ever since installed OS26 (and 26.1 now) - whenever I fast play any video on 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x on the AppleTV - the audio gets massively distorted on HomePods. Be it on YouTube, Difuse, or any supporting app. I even tried mirroring from iPhone -same issue. Anyone else experiencing the same? I noticed no posts about troubleshooting.

Hi there - I have an Issue everytime an app uses the Frontcamera, it crushes. I tried all the basic steps to help such as newstart of the phone, newest updates of the apps, reset all settings etc. nothing helps. I am now in IOS 26.1. Any Ideas?

After editing certain photos—whether applying filters, cropping, or making basic adjustments—the image suddenly turns completely black upon saving or exiting the edit mode. Details: macOS Version: macOS Tahoe (latest beta) Affected App(s): Photos, Preview, and some third-party editing apps Steps to Reproduce: Open a photo in the Photos app Make any basic edit (e.g., crop, adjust brightness) Click “Done” The edited photo appears entirely black Notes: Happens with both JPEG and HEIC formats Original photo appears fine before editing Exporting the photo also results in a black image Restarting the app/system does not resolve the issue iCloud Photos is enabled This issue seems related to the image rendering pipeline post-editing, possibly tied to Core Image or GPU rendering frameworks. It severely affects photo usability and could result in permanent data loss if backups are not maintained. Please advise if a workaround exists or if this bug has been logged already. I am attempting to add credit cards to Apple Wallet using Web Push Provisioning through our web application and have not been able to find any documentation or integration guide for this. Apple has provided me with In-App provisioning documentation, but this is geared toward mobile development which we are not doing. I’m experiencing a strange issue with the App Switcher on my iPad. When I swipe up from the bottom to open the App Switcher, the apps that should be running sometimes don’t appear — they briefly flash for a split second and then disappear. The App Switcher itself stays open, but it shows no app cards. Swipe up from the bottom and pause to show the App Switcher. Sometimes, the app cards flash for a moment and then disappear, leaving the App Switcher empty. Think about it: pixel-perfect precision, haptic feedback, multiple built-in sensors... Why aren't we using this for gaming? And that got me thinking — why have we spent the last 500 years treating the "pencil" as just a tool for creation, and not for play? Since graphite pencils were invented in 1564, we've had this incredibly natural way to interact with 2D and 3D space... and nobody's fully tapped into it for games. So, I did something about it. I built a game that's 100% controlled by the Apple Pencil yep, just the Pencil. I know what you're thinking: "How does that even work??" And honestly, I'd love to tell you... but I'm in the final stages of getting it onto the App Store, and it should be live within the next couple of weeks. Hi Community! I have enrolled for an Apple Developer Account. Only 4 hours left until the 48-hour deadline runs out. On the account page it says pending in orange when I click on my name, but it also says that I need to complete payment. I have received an invoice and receipt from Apple confirming that it’s paid, so I’m not planning to pay again. Does this sound like everything is correct and I can just look forward to it, or does it sound like something is wrong? From people’s experience here, does it often take more than 48 hours? Petter

Hello, I noticed that on September 18, 2025, my Active Paid Subscriptions metric in App Store Connect suddenly dropped to 0 (-100%). However, my subscribers are still active and visible in RevenueCat and Superwall, which both confirm that users have not canceled their subscriptions. This makes me believe it is an App Store Connect reporting issue rather than an actual churn. I have a FORD F250 2021. I returned for a deployment, and CarPlay does not work in my vehicle. I have tried all the YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram videos I could find. They all actually started to repeat, so I decided to come here. My wife has an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and it connects to CarPlay without any issues. Other than all the social media suggestions, do you have any other suggestions? No, I am not ready to purchase a new device.

I have received this installation error attempting to upgrade from MacOS 26.4 beta 2 to beta 3 on my Intel 2020 27” iMac, and now trying to install beta 4 from beta 3 on my M1 Max MBP. I have seen from a sprinkling of post that some others have had the same issue. I was able to successfully perform the 2 to 3 upgrade on the iMac in safe boot, suggesting possible compatible, third-party app. But that did not work for beta 4 on either device. I have submitted feedback for each episode. Any others have this issue? Unusual for Apple, I have never had any issues installing beta software before.

Hi I experience this problem after update to the newest developer beta software on my iphone 17 pro: blackmagic camera said "storage full" although it is not final cut camera said "close and open the app again" It still works with prores (not raw). Anyone has the same problem as mine? I did try uninstall and reinstall the app and also restart the phone, try using different external ssd drive but nothing works.

Hello everyone, My Apple Developer membership has expired, my apps were removed from the App Store, and I’m currently unable to find any option to renew the membership. I already tried: Signing in through the Apple Developer account page Checking the Membership section Checking App Store Connect Trying different browsers/devices Visiting the enrollment and membership URLs directly However, there is no “Renew Membership” or “Re-enroll” button showing anywhere.
