Hi, I would like to share a finding and ask for a solution, if possible. This may be a potential bug with PointerMoveEvent on Safari on an iPad with Pencil Pro. I tested onPointerMove and onTouchMove in a element in a React web app for freehand drawing using Mouse on a PC. Finger touch on iPad Apple pencil pro on iPad Finger touch on iPhone I was able to draw smooth curves in all cases except when using onPointerMove with Apple pencil pro on iPad. The curve drawn in this case looked like it was created using several straight-line segments. It seems like the sampling rate for PointerMoveEvent is lower than that of TouchMoveEvent on Safari I am not sure how to solve this problem or if it is an issue with Safari's interpretation of PointerEvents. Any input is greatly appreciated. Edit: It seems like https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/689375 is related.

Me too. Battery drains very quickly. I currently have a 5s. Charges so fast and gets hot but battery life is bad. I got rid of the beta just because if the battery. Everything but the battery is great.

I have turned on 'Allow on Lock Screen' in Notes settings.Apple Pencil is not activating Notes on the lock screen in iOS 11 beta on the new iPad Pro 10.5, 256GB.Nothing happens with different pressure applied on the lock screen.Default account selected is iCloud'Only Draw with Apple Pencil' is switched on.
Hey, I'll try to iOS 9 and noticed that the battery life is short. Fully charged at 100% and I also used 2 hours and charging has fallen 80% very quickly. On the iPhone 6 Plus. Hopefully, this battery life is improved after repairs 🙂

I’ve been here trying to charge my Apple Pencil. But when I connect it to the side where the magnet is, it says that it’s charging, but when I check on the side menu, it does not show the charging icon? I’m on the new iOS 14 update. Does the update affect my usage for my pencil? Or do I need to get a new one? I’ve reset my iPad, forgotten and connected the pencil in Bluetooth, tried heating it up with a hair dryer, but nothing has worked.
Feature was definitely removed. Probably battery life. However, the Apple Watch app still mentions “traffic on your commute home”. Unsure if a bug or feature removed.

Are there any Apple Pencil Pro specific events in Mobile Safari? The interesting ones are hover, so we can know that it is about to touch the screen squeeze, ideally where we can provide a list of icons and actions to take. Failing that, providing a filter so we can show just the Apple-approved actions that a given web app supports
So I've seen other posts about phones dying with 40-60% battery life, but I'm seeing a projected 13-15 hours on my iPhone 6s.Today, I've been on standby nearly 7 hours with 2:40 usage, and my battery meter is at 81%.So this is projecting out to 13:30 usage (down from over 14 hours when it was sitting idle). But I'm afraid it's just going to turn off at 50%, which would be bad.As an aside, the highest-draining apps have been Facebook (obviously), Dropbox (unusual for me that it's top-5), Photos (I dumped a ton of photos in iCloud and it's been building memories nonstop), LinkedIn, and Chrome (which has really improved in the latest version 53.x).Google Maps, Messages, Sonos, and Gmail are the next tier.
Same battery problem. After watchOS 7.3 upgrade, battery life on my AW 6 GPS is less than a day.

normally I get 8 AM - 11 PM without needing a charge.after beta 3, Watch didn't make it to 4 PM.has anyone else noticed this or have any tips or recommendations to diagnose if an app is causing this? Thanks!
IPhoneXS here. My battery life was cut in half approximately by iOS 14.2. I hoped 14.3 would fix it but it did not. I then thought maybe some Home Screen widget is the culprit(they seemed not to impact battery with ios14-14.1 though)? I deleted all of them yesterday and today my battery is still draining quickly. Apple please investigate and provide update here.

My iPad Pro app supports Apple Pencil using 'if touch.type == .pencil'. I previously used the term '.stylus' but I read it has been deprecated.I have a customer who wants to use a 3rd party stylus. How do I support input from a third-party stylus in my app?
Hi at all,I´m explaining the same issues.I have located my main draining app... it is the Mail app.My iPhone 6 battery is working normal but my iPad Mini 4 battery is horrible...The Mail App drains the battery 55% in less than 12 hours.Normally the battery in my iPad lifes about 5-7 days (with iOS 9)I have tested many things, has resetted the settings, fresh install, without backupm with backup, and so on...So, im now at the end of my knowledge...This issue ocurs for me since the beta3 and holds on including the GM release.I have also informed Apple through the Feedback App for 3 times and also now with a BugReport.iOS10 is really cool but with such a battery life on different device types (what I can read) the latest build is inacceptable!Every year the same problem... BATTERY DRAIN.
