whenever i try to download macOS Big sur 11.2.3 software update after downloading few percentage it occured failed, with regarding a message: an error occured while downloading the selected updates. please check your internet connection and try again.'' where as my internet connection is completely fine. I am trying to solve this for last couple of weeks but could-not able to find any solutions.

Is there an API for interacting with SAMBA server?Can I upload and download files via SMB protocol by using NSURLConnection?My current solution is getting samba sources, build libsmbclient from them, and use it.But is there a simplest solution? What library is using by Finder?

I installed the Big Sur developer beta on both my 2018 Mac mini as well as my 2019 16 MacBook Pro. The beta runs fine on the mini but on my MBP I have a huge problem in that after the installation and initial reboot the screen flickers every 2 seconds or so, rendering it impossible to view anything. I've tried rebooting, resetting SMC and reinstalling and the issue repeats itself. Anyone else see this problem?

As there are no offset properties for NSButtonCell, maybe the issue could be fixed with an image whose contents is incorrectly centered. But I'm not in the mood to try this right now. Hello, I updated my Mac to BIG SUR but sadly my JAR files are not playing back since, although I updated Java. Funnily, the JAR files play back on my Hootoo connected to the MAC. I tried another external hard disk but from there they do not play back either. I am desperate since I urgently need these files playing on my machine. Any advice would be most appreciated. ADA

Recently, I upgrade my MacBook Pro OS to Big Sur. It appears that with Big Sur, pdf file cannot be printed properly. For example, it only gives the frames of tables in the file while leave all others blank. Is there any way to solve this problem? (By the way, I have deleted the existing links and added a new link for the printer. But it does not work.) I notice that others are facing similar problems when printing Microsoft Word files.

In macOS Big Sur, is there a way to remove the rounded corners from the iOS Simulator windows? I'm not looking to change this setting system-wide, just for the simulator. Why? For older simulators like iPhone 8 and older iPads, the rounded corners in the non-bezel windows clip part of what the end user would see. It's small, but it matters in my use case.

Hi. I updated to Big Sur last night (Nov 15th), and I am unable to adjust the screen brightness using either the function keys, command center, or system preferences. In all cases, the tiles move appropriately, but there is no actual change in brightness. Seems to be stuck on full bright. I’m using a 2014 MBP. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? since i updated my MacBook Pro to the Big Sur OS, i've been experiencing a lot of freezing. especially while facetiming, when my computer said the connection is poor, my entire laptop froze, and i can't do anything for a couple minutes. really annoying and very unnecessary. sometimes my laptop completely malfunctioned, and i had to manually force reboot. please fix this.
