I have an external ssd with BigSur beta installed. Booting to the external ssd works just fine - I upgraded to 20A5395g yesterday. However, I am unable (when booted to 10.15.7) to mount the BigSur volume. The dialog box that presents itself reads: Could not mount BigSur Boot - Data. (com.apple.DiskManagement.disenter error -119930868) Is this by design? Can anyone else boot a working BigSur volume onto a Catalina system?
Hi, I have a MacBook Air and have been trying to install OS BigSur for a few weeks now. It keeps telling me I don’t have enough space in my hard drive. I looked through the FAQs on this topic and saw the suggestion about Time Machine, however, I do not use Time Machine and never have. I have deleted as much as I can delete off my HD and still don’t seem to have enough space to install the new OS. What else can I do?
I bought a 2020 mack book pro for my virtual clases with zoom, it works well till I install MacOS BigSur 11.0.1, after that I had many problems with zoom, the app was very slow and I had to deactivate the virtual background, but I need to use it for my clases, so, I want to know if this version of BigSur 11.1 fixed this problem because I really don't like this operative system.
I am using BigSur beta(20A4300b), and received the updated notifications with BigSur beta and another updated to beta3, but, the system always stay at BigSur beta(20A4300b),no matter update which one in the update list, maybe I missed the beta2 update, how to resolve it?
I installed the profile for macOS BigSur, but I got updated to Catalina beta 10.15.6 error message 'The requested version of macOS is not available.' Any solution to this?
Thanks for the video. Am I correct in understanding that because FireWire is not yet a supported family, BigSur will support a Kext for a FireWire device?
