A new feature in Settings > privacy & Security> Location Services that allows users to disable location access for all installed 3rd party applications. I think this is a great idea. It would save battery life and improve privacy for users. It would also be helpful for tracking kids and teenagers, as well as for people with Alzheimer's or dementia and syndrome down people. Apple and Google should store children and teenagers' school locations on their Apple or Google accounts. I think this is a good idea, but I don't think it should be mandatory. Parents should have the option of whether or not to share their child's school location. this helps to protect our teenagers to be safe. Apple should distinguish between known locations, such as home, work, and school. This would be a helpful feature for apps that need to know where the user is located. I wonder if an Apple engineer could confirm: will the Apple Pencil Pro squeeze functionality be detectable in the current API, or will this be a future iPadOS extension to gesture recognizers / UIKit? I’d like to start playing with the functionality if it’s detected behind an existing event though. (Long press?)

So recently i just updated my Iphone 5s from IOS 9.3.5 to IOS 10 Beta 8 , i had no problems till i realised how fast my Battery was draining !! With the IOS 9.3.5 i had no problems with the battery , but now i do !! I hope in the Final Version of ios 10 there will not be any Battery Problems ! P.S: My Brightness was fully LOW , i had the location services OFF , no app running in the background !! i Went to Settings > Battery > Battery Usage and it says Home * Lock Screen 25% !! Is this problem happening just to me or to anyone else ?! Thank you , just wanted to share my problem (Hope this is not happening to anyone else) 🙂

Battery life on my iPhone 6 has degraded significantly since the iOS 9 upgrade. Has anyone else noticed this and are there any suggested fixes?My phone usually lasts all day with moderate use, and usually is around 30-40% charged at the end of the day. Since the iOS 9 update, I can only get 3-4 hours from full charge before it hits the 20% threshold.

Hello, I am currently working in an Alzheimer's related researching where we are utilizing the force (pressure) data from the Apple Pencil. While we are able to get a range of the force values (0 - 4.2), we do not know the actual unit of this pressure. I have gone through the documentation but I did not find any mention about the unit of the touch.force parameter. What is the unit of this touch.force parameter? I also wanted to ask about being able to capture other information from the apple pencil like accelerometer data, gyroscope data etc. The more data we are able to capture from the pencil the better, so that the data can be used for future studies about Alzheimer's Disease. Currently I am using the pencil to capture the following data: - Force Location (coordinates) Altitude angle Azimuth angle Azimuth Unit Vector Perpendicular Force (calculated as per documentation) Major Radius Tap Count If there is anything more that I can capture via the apple
