After installing iOS 10 Beta 3 my battery runs down extremely quickly on my iPhone 6s Plus, My iPad Pro and my Apple watch. I did not have this problem under the previous betas.

Safari developers aren't Apple developers. You need to enroll to apple developer program and pay the quote. But, if you aren't an iOS developer, you should NOT install a beta version on a non-testing terminal.I've known all betas since iOS 4. I know what I'm talking about. Things like no battery (1-2 hours of battery life), no iTunes app, or Phone app not working, all these things can happen on a beta. And, also, is not a warning for a beta 1. For example, my problem with iTunes app happens with at least 3 beta versions, if I remember correctly, beta 4, 5 and 6 of the same iOS.

Thank you @DTS Engineer! This was exactly what I had, I was building with Xcode Beta 5 and running on previous iOS 26 versions. Because of the symbol changes, building with Xcode 26 Beta 5 and running on macOS / iOS 26 Beta 4 / 3 may trigger the crash. I was able to run properly after upgrading my iOS device to Beta 5 and no more crashes! It seems you'll need to be on both Xcode 26 Beta 5 + iOS 26 Beta 5.

How to download the runtime simulators for the most recent Xcode 26 beta? The current download command I’m using doesn’t seem to work, and I’m encountering the following issues: The runtime simulator download command (xcodebuild) requires the version number to be specified explicitly. I’ve tried multiple variations of version names/numbers but haven’t been able to identify the correct naming convention used by Apple for the Xcode 26 beta simulator runtimes. $ xcodebuild -downloadPlatform IOS -exportPath ~/Downloads -buildVersion 26 Finding content...iOS 26 is not available for download. $ xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -exportPath ~/Downloads -buildVersion 26.0 Finding content...iOS 26.0 is not available for download. $ xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -exportPath ~/Downloads -buildVersion 26.0 beta Finding content...iOS 26.0 is not available for download. $ xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS

I believe the beta servers two (2) functions:1. To test one's applications against the new software.2. To help Apple with the development of the beta software.Apple has made a bug reporter for a reason. If they were so intent on a beta being used only to test one's apps, they would not ask for feedback / reports regarding the software. Also, this is more than a battery life issue...it's an actual battery drain that is more excessive than in the past. I've used several iOS beta 1s and I've almost never felt the need to downgrade because of such poor battery life which caused me to recharge more than once per day.I think we can all agree that betas will have slight battery issues, but it's something worth talking about when it's drain which doesn't even allow you to get past half a day in most cases.

I've noticed a slight decrease in battery life with Beta 3 on my iPhone 6. Example last night around 11pm I had 85% battery. This morning when I woke up around 6:30am I had 75%. That is not what I was getting with Beta 2 ~3% decrease for the same time period. However with Beta 1 I lost more than 50% for the same time period. So long story short Beta 3 is better that Beta 1 but not as good as Beta 2 or iOS 8.4. Hope that make sense.

So I downloaded and installed iOS26 on my iPhone 15 Pro and after that it does not want to boot anymore. It shows a battery with one red line. Which is weird because before it restarted it had 80% of the battery and I had the power cable connected at all time. Now I can't boot it up anymore. Not even with the volume button up, down, power button trick. Please help!
As many others have pointed out battery life issues are common with IOS beta releases. Especially early betas. For those still wanting to use it i have found setting up my devices as new ones rather than restoring from backups has helped battery drain issues. also battery cases are a very affordable work-around at least until things get nailed down. just my two cents.

I am unable to use my Apple Pencil with iOS 10 beta 1 on my iPad Pro (12.9). The pencil does pair, and the Battery widget does report on it, but no input is received by Notes, Safari or other apps. Anyone seeing this issue? Or even better, have a resolution?
Using the iOS 26 beta simulator, I am experiencing a crash using the QLPreviewController. This is easily reproduced using a small sample app and a sample excel file in the bundle. It does work in prior Xcode 16.4 and simulators (18.5). I didn't find any mention of this in Xcode 26 or iOS 26 release notes but I could have missed something. I don't have a spare device to update to iOS 26 and try on a real device so it may just be a simulator issue? Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks. Error: QuickLook/QLHostRemoteViewModel.swift:37: Fatal error: No extensions could be found matching '_AppExtensionQuery(extensionPointIdentifier: com.apple.quicklook.UIExtensionPoint, predicate: nil, hostAuditToken: nil, extensionPoint: nil, allowsDuplicates: true)' Sample view controller... import UIKit import QuickLook class ViewController: UIViewController, QLPreviewControllerDataSource { var excelFileURL: URL! override func viewDidLoad() { super.viewDidL
A quick follow along, the version key seems to be much more temperamental on iOS versions 18.7 and below (from my limited testing) iOS 26 does seem to respect it, though it does seem to be slow with the updates themselves (possibly 1 hour between the new config being sent down and the update, but that may be down to wifi/battery saver mode)

Do you observe this issue on a real iPhone running iOS 26 beta? On simulators running iOS 26 beta or iPadOS 26 beta (under Xcode 26 beta 1-3), I observe the two following issues: When the first segment is selected and I select interactively a segment other than the first segment, the newly selected segment is hidden behind an opaque selection marker. This resembles the OPs observation in this thread numbered 789898. When another segment than the first is selected and I select interactively another segment than the first, the first segment is selected instead. This corresponds to an issue reported in another thread numbered 791988. On a real device, however, the segmented control works as expected. I have tested this with the same code on an iPad Air 13 M2 running iPadOS 26 beta 3 (and with the previous betas). The segmented control also works correctly even on simulators when I select

Hi everyone, my iPhone X’s battery health (beta) stands at 95% after 2 months of purchase. I charge once daily and usually get about 4-5 hours of usage time and approximately 24 hrs of standby time. Looking at everyone’s posts, I seem to have realise that most iphone x battery health stands around 97-100%. Should I be concern with my situation ? Thanks !
I've noticed that in iOS 26, Navigation Bar Items' Image Insets parameters as set in Xcode are not being read correctly. Specifically, it appears that on iOS 26 beta, negative inset numbers are being read as positive. Feedback report FB19838333 includes a sample project demonstrating this bug.
