Latest iOS 26 Beta version seems to have bricked my phone
After my phone updated to the latest version of iOS 26 Beta overnight, I found out this morning that I cannot get past the setup process as it fails to recognise it's connected to the WiFi and is then unable to activate Apple Intelligence. I've tried bypassing this via iPhone mirroring on my MacBook, and while I can access the home screen that way, all native apps are inaccessible and 3rd party apps are only accessible via app switcher. The 3rd party apps (Slack, Instagram, etc) work fine, meaning the device has an internet connection. Unless someone has another suggestion, it looks like my only option is to remove the beta software by restoring my device - although I'm going to wait until iOS 26 is fully released later today (how convenient) as I don't want to use an iOS 18 backup and lose a bunch of stuff.

Battery Health iOS 14-7
I have iPhone 11 pro with 100% battery heath. When i 1st time installed ios 14 beta battery health dropped to 99%, when I installed 14 beta 2 it dropped to 98% with each beta one percent is decreasing today installed ios 14 beta 7 again battery dropped. Now my phone battery is 93% so my question is will I reclaim battery heath when ios14 is officially announced?

Reply to Xcode 26 / iOS 26 UISegmentedControl returns to index 0 incorrectly
Do you observe this issue on a real iPhone running iOS 26 beta? On simulators running iOS 26 beta or iPadOS 26 beta (under Xcode 26 beta 1-3), I observe the two following issues: When the first segment is selected and I select interactively a segment other than the first segment, the newly selected segment is hidden behind an opaque selection marker. This resembles the issue discussed in another thread numbered 789898. When another segment than the first is selected and I select interactively another segment than the first, the first segment is selected instead. This corresponds to the OPs observation in this thread numbered 791988). On a real device, however, the segmented control works as expected. I have tested this with the same code on an iPad Air 13 M2 running iPadOS 26 beta 3 (and with the previous betas). The segmented control also works correctly even on simulators when I sele

IOS 9.3 beta 1.1 battery draining
has anyone else seen rapid battery draining in their devices lately I have been getting half the battery on my iPad pro and iPhone 6s and I can't find out why it's been cut down so drastically. I normally got 10 minimbus hours of hd video playback within any application now I'm lucky if I get 5 total use hours

Reply to IOS Beta 12 Battery dies quickly
When I'm testing things alot on my phone the battery does drain faster. However, when I'm using my phone the way I was using it before installing iOS 12 beta, the battery life seems comparable. I'm running on an iPhone X so my battery is relatively new. What iOS device(s) are you running? Also, remember that one of the changes is a quicker ramp up to full processing power instead of the gradual ramp-up that was used before iOS 12 beta. If you are switching between apps and doing other things that will be pushing the power needs then you may see a faster battery drain.

iOS 26 Beta 3 In App Purchase bug
So here is my issue regarding iOS 26 Beta 3. I was playing a game called BangBang Survivor, while inside the game there is an option to make the game ad free with a monthly subscription. Somehow i found that it doesnt work anymore on Beta 3. When I clicked renew subcription, it shows “This Purchase has already been bought. It will restored for free” and I found that buying diamonds actually working, except those ad free subscription was not working. I contacted game dev for this issue, they cant seems to solve anything and asked me to contact Apple Support. But Apple Support doesnt solve the issue as well and asked me to contact the game dev. I guess i will need to wait for next update to see whether this issue will finally solve or not.

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
I have been running iOS 9 beta 1 on an iPhone 5, iPad 4, and an iPad Air for about a week. Now as far as the iPad's go battery life has been pretty stable, however the iPhone 5 has been showing a lot of the issues reported here, but this morning was the kicker.I woke up the morning to find the screen was starting to warp on the left side because the battery (probably) had become bloated. Now it is most likely a coincidence that my 27 month old iPhone 5 battery decides to do this a week after installing iOS 9, but it has happened and I do look after the phone. That said I am left wondering if I should/shouldn't install iOS 9 beta 1 onto the iPhone 6 I bought this morning. Either way the one thing I have always noted with any iOS update, is that often when the battery behaviour become erratic, Apple has changed something and the best way to get it to behave again has usually been to flatten the battery

Reply to Can a Safari developer download iOS 9 beta?
Safari developers aren't Apple developers. You need to enroll to apple developer program and pay the quote. But, if you aren't an iOS developer, you should NOT install a beta version on a non-testing terminal.I've known all betas since iOS 4. I know what I'm talking about. Things like no battery (1-2 hours of battery life), no iTunes app, or Phone app not working, all these things can happen on a beta. And, also, is not a warning for a beta 1. For example, my problem with iTunes app happens with at least 3 beta versions, if I remember correctly, beta 4, 5 and 6 of the same iOS.

Reply to Beta Test Philosophy
I believe the beta servers two (2) functions:1. To test one's applications against the new software.2. To help Apple with the development of the beta software.Apple has made a bug reporter for a reason. If they were so intent on a beta being used only to test one's apps, they would not ask for feedback / reports regarding the software. Also, this is more than a battery life issue...it's an actual battery drain that is more excessive than in the past. I've used several iOS beta 1s and I've almost never felt the need to downgrade because of such poor battery life which caused me to recharge more than once per day.I think we can all agree that betas will have slight battery issues, but it's something worth talking about when it's drain which doesn't even allow you to get past half a day in most cases.
