Version 1.0.0 stuck in "Waiting for Review" for ~2 weeks after an automated Guideline 2.5.1 message about the Family Controls entitlement
Our app — a screen-time / focus app — has had no App Review activity for two weeks, and we believe the trigger was an automated Guideline 2.5.1 check that froze an otherwise actively progressing review. (This forum account is linked to the developer account in question; we can provide the App ID, bundle IDs, submission IDs, and support case numbers through any private channel on request.) Context: Jul 2–5: Our first submission (Version 1.0.0) was under active review. We went through several ordinary metadata / paywall-related iterations, and the reviewer responded within roughly 24 hours each time. Nothing related to Screen Time was raised in these human reviews of builds 9 and 10. Jul 8: After we submitted build 11 — which addressed the remaining human-review feedback — we received an automated Guideline 2.5.1 (Performance: Software Requirements) message stating that the app uses the Screen Time API but has not been submitted with the Family Controls entitlement, and that review of the submission cannot proc

DeviceActivityReport: is host-owned scrolling over an embedded report possible, and can the report present full-screen modals?
I’m building a rich Home surface around a DeviceActivityReport embedded in my host app, and I’ve hit a set of boundaries that I’d like to confirm as intended behavior rather than something I’m doing wrong. All results below are from physical devices running iOS 18 and iOS 26, since Screen Time data is not available in Simulator. What I’m trying to build I want a single scrolling page where: The host app owns some chrome, including a date picker, refresh button, and settings button. The embedded DeviceActivityReport renders the Screen Time data, including totals, a per-hour chart, and per-app usage. The host chrome can react to the report scrolling. Taps inside the report can open a full-screen sheet. Findings so far 1. Report → host App Group writes do not reach the host A UserDefaults(suiteName:) write, or a file written to the App Group container, from inside the report extension returns success. However, the host app reads nil for those keys, including for a plain string marker unrelated to Screen Time dat

Device Activity Monitor
I'd like to block the apps selected in FamilyActivityPicker individually when a certain threshold is met. For example, let's say the threshold is 15 minutes, and I want to block both Photos and Freeform. If I spend 15 minutes on Photos, Photos should be blocked. Then, if I spend 15 minutes on Freeform, Freeform should also be blocked. Currently, only Photos gets blocked after 15 minutes, but Freeform does not. How can I fix this problem so that each app is blocked individually when its respective 15-minute threshold is met? Thank you in advance File 1 : class GlobalSelection { static let shared = GlobalSelection() var selection = FamilyActivitySelection() private init() {} } extension DeviceActivityName{ static let daily = Self(daily) } @objc(DeviceActivityMonitorModule) class DeviceActivityMonitorModule: NSObject { private let store = ManagedSettingsStore() @objc func startMonitoring(_ limitInMinutes: Int) { let schedule = DeviceActivitySchedule( intervalStart: DateComponents(hour: 0, minute: 0), intervalEnd
