I am whitelabeling the Rocket.Chat app for use with a small but growing group of people. I want to make it as easy as possible for them to download and use the app as many of them are not very tech savvy. When going to upload the app, the review process flagged it as a violation of guideline 4.3 - Spam. My question is: 1) Is there another way that would be better to distribute my app? 2) Is there a way I can change my app or my listing so as not to violate 4.3 as spam is absolutely not my intension. Thank you for your help!

Hello Apple Developer Community, I hope this message finds you well. My app submission was recently rejected under Guideline 4.3(a) due to the App Review Team's determination that my app shares similarities in binary, metadata, and concept with apps submitted by other developers, with only minor differences. The feedback I received stated: We still found that your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality. I have already made significant efforts to differentiate my app by implementing unique features and functionality tailored to my audience. However, I’d like to better understand: What specific aspects of my app might be contributing to the similarity concerns? How can I further highlight the unique features and functionality of my app to meet Apple's
I created an app and submitted to app store for review and got a rejection with 4.3(a) - Design - Spam. This one was created for brand new, and I didn't find any similar apps in App store. I searched in this forum but am not sure if it is because I used flutter to build my app? How could I get a bit more specific detail why it got rejected? Guideline 4.3(a) - Design - Spam We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. Next Steps Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality.
code write by flutter, and I never post by a other account, why?
My game has been updated steadily every week on the appstore for several months. When I submitted the updated version for review recently, it was rejected by 4.3, saying that my game has no characteristics. However, there is no other game with unique features such as custom skills on the appstore except my game, so I am puzzled and hope to be re-reviewed. There is another problem. My game has accumulated a part of users on the appstore user side. They are anxious because they cannot update to the latest version and urge me to solve the Apple version update problem quickly. I hope Apple can give me, an individual developer and Apple mobile phone users, a practical solution to this problem, instead of just a 4.3 rejection without specifying the specific reason.
Here is the English translation of your content: Section 1: Our game was developed using Cocos Creator 3.8.5, written in TypeScript. The team spent nearly two years completing it. Initially, our submission wasn't classified under Guideline 4.3(a). The first four reviews provided normal feedback, which we addressed. However, after a subsequent rejection citing 4.3(a), we considered whether similarities in gameplay concepts, narrative, or art assets might exist. In response, our team introduced unique features not found in other App Store applications. We completely redesigned our original art assets to ensure originality and extensively modified aspects potentially resembling other developers’ work. This included removing all third-party SDK modules except Apple Pay and Sign in with Apple. Despite these significant efforts, we still received a 4.3(a) rejection. We have now iterated over 20 versions but continue to face this issue. Section 2: Our game’s business logic code (exclud

My app rejected in from apple side. How can I solve this issue? Guideline 3.2 - Business During our review, we found that this app was designed for a specific business or organization, including its partners, clients or employees, and not for general distribution on the App Store. Business apps available on the App Store are meant for use by a wide variety of external customers around the world. As this app is not intended for general distribution, it cannot be made available on the App Store. We encourage you to review the other ways to distribute your business app and choose one that better meets your business needs. Our application was developed and designed entirely independently, and we made adjustments after it was rejected at first.Apple audits have always been a mechanical response, and do not specify specific violations. It's a headache to reply to their email and give 2.1 big gift package question. We examined App carefully and found that none of these problems existed. They didn't respond in time.App audits have now been resubmitted and are awaiting review. What should I do?
On the Watch: watchOS 4.3 beta 3On the paired iPhone: iOS 11.3 beta 4Observed behavior: Activity numbers (Move/Exercise/Stand) stop updating on the Watch, until the Watch is put to Airplane mode/restarted. If nothing is done - data is lost completely. In particular, Stand hours are missing and marked as empty, like the watch was not even on the wrist during that hour. Was previously observed with watchOS 4.3 beta 2 and 1 (and iOS 11.3 beta 2 and 1), but was fine with iOS 11.3 beta 3. After iOS 11.3 was updated to beta 4 - problem occured again and stay there.Remarks: with this iPhone two Apple Watches are paired. One with watchOS 4.2.3, another one - with watchOS 4.3 beta 3. However, the Watch with watchOS 4.2.3 is completely turned off for a week already.
I'm trying to display a color icon as a complication when Multicolor setting is set (Utility, Modular, Extra Large, Siri screens).I have a 2 color PNG icon with alpha channel and some semitransparent elements. However, my icon is always displayed as white.I do NOT set tint for `CLKImageProvider`.From Apple's app and some 3rd party (e.g. Carrot Weather), I can see that it is possible. Who do I miss?Testing on watchOS 4.3 simulator.

Hello, I've uploaded my first application on applestore and they 've replied : Your app primarily features astrology, horoscopes, palm reading, fortune telling or zodiac reports. As such, it duplicates the content and functionality of many other similar apps currently available on the App Store. While these app features may be useful, informative or entertaining, we simply have enough of these types of apps on the App Store, and they are considered a form of spam. My application is related Turkish Coffee, i have explained unique features and differences from other applications. Added special review notes, and uploaded detailed screenshots. I've not send 2. submission before get replied from Apple, and then i have asked to make a phone call, then they said okay we will call you in 3 days, but no sound again. In this time i have entered much more detail to my application and sent to review again with new features. Buuum: i've got same message again. I don't believe my application reviewed by human, because ther
Hello, I believe yesterday Apple released the following: v4.3 Apr 3, 2023 Swift Playgrounds 4.3 includes Swift 5.8, the iOS 16.4 SDK, along with other features and bug fixes. Sound Pad shows you how to build your own digital musical instrument Norwegian and Vietnamese language support --- My question is will the app projects now be tested on this latest release? As this is now the only release I have access to on my devices. The terms say that 'Your app playground must be built with and run on Swift Playgrounds 4.2.1 or later' so I assume later means that they will now be judged in 4.3? The update actually caused my previous submission of the app project to crash on launch due to the following line: For some reason this character change fixes the issue: I also updated this for the other instance of Double.random in my code even though it wasn't erroring out. I've already withdrawn and resubmit my entry with the change.
StackOverflow-question with bounty: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/38361376/convert-iosurface-backed-texture-to-gl-texture-2dI want to render an IOSurface texture with mipmapping.I am generating an OpenGL texture from an IOSurface like so:let error = CGLTexImageIOSurface2D(context.cglContextObj!, GLenum(GL_TEXTURE_RECTANGLE_ARB),GLenum(GL_RGBA), GLsizei(width), GLsizei(height), GLenum(GL_BGRA), GLenum(GL_UNSIGNED_INT_8_8_8_8_REV), surface!, 0)And rendering it with a simple fragment shader:#version 120 uniform sampler2DRect texture; varying vec2 texCoord; uniform vec2 size; void main(){ vec4 tex = texture2DRect(texture, texCoord*size); gl_FragColor = tex; }This works fine. But unfortunately, the texture is not mipmapped and is very grainy/pixellated when viewed at a smaller size. Upon further research, it appears that not only are IOSurface backed textures limited to a GL_TEXTURE_RECTANGLE_ARB target, they also do not support mipmapping.Allright. So my best alternative here seems to be to:Copy the GL_TEXTU
