Reply to downgraded from ios9 to 8.3 - watch bricked
watchOS 2 requires iOS 9. You will either need to live without that watch until release, or live with beta software on those devices. As stated in http://adcdownload.apple.com/Documentation/Beta_Software_Installation_Guides/watchOS_beta_Software_Installation_Guide.pdf: Pre-release software is intended only for installation on development devices registered with your Apple Developer Program membership.and: Devices updated to watchOS beta may not be restored to earlier versions of watchOS.and: watchOS 2 beta supports iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, or 6 Plus running iOS 9 beta

Reply to NSTableView dynamic cell row height?
Hi MuM,I have a similar issue with dynamically sized cells in a NSTableView which I need addressed.I may be wrong but I believe you may have to implement -tableView:heightOfRow: to return the appropriate height of the row in your table. If there is any more interest in this post, I'd like to know how to setup a view-based NSTableView which includes a textField that grows in height as the wrapped text goes to the next line and shrinks when the user deletes lines of that textField. An example of the functionality that I am looking for is something similar (but within a table) to how the textfield works in Apple's Messages.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

An app transfer and push notification
I'm going to transfer an app to another account.Developer guide says:Associated client SSL certificates for push notifications aren’t transferred. If the app uses Apple Push Notifications service (APNs), the recipient needs to create a client SSL certificate using Member Center to reenable it.https://developer.apple.com/library/prerelease/ios/documentation/LanguagesUtilities/Conceptual/iTunesConnect_Guide/Chapters/TransferringAndDeletingApps.htmlDoes it meens I have to update an app and existing users have to update app to use push notifications?I think it's not so because the client SSL cetfication needed to send request to APNs. So only I have to create a new certification and install it to my server to connect to APNs. Is that right? And I want to know if app transfer changes the Bundle ID.I think if the Bundle ID changed and end users updated an app, push notifications will become to not work.I hope you will be able to provide the information.

Milage count/estimate way off
I know this is a beta, but since I install OS 2 beta on my Apple Watch, the milage count/estimate is way off. I've walked outside to calibrate the watch, but a 4 mile walk on the treadmill stlll registers an 7.5 mile on the Apple watch. I've also notice that my usual 400 calorie workout on the treadmill has increased to 500 on the watch. Has anyone else noticed similar behavoir? Or a possible fix?

Xcode 7 is 32 bit supported?
We do general Unix development on Mac OS X but because some of the libaries we link against are currently on 32 bit we have to produce 32 bit binaries. When using Xcode 6 we can debug Unix binaries by selecting My Mac (32-bit) in the scheme selector, on Xcode 7 we only get My Mac and it gives the error: the specified architecture 'x86_64' is not compatible with 'i386-apple-macosx' in '/usr/atc-5.00.5/dev/cust0400/xcust'.I don't see any method of specifying i386 or 32-bit anywhere in build settings. Thanks, regards, Rob.

Reply to If I develop an app using the GPL license of the Qt framework, can I put the executable on the app store?
Which version of the GPL license is that framework licensed under? Is it the one where the distribution license requires that you are required to distribute the source code for your application, and that the Free Software Foundation has stated is incompatible with how the App Store works? If Apple has a statement prohibiting that software, it is in part because you can't (without violating the terms of that version of the GPL) legally ask them to distribute that software. From one of the discussions of GPL v2:Section 6 of GPLv2 says: Each time you redistribute the Program (or any work based on the Program), the recipient automatically receives a license from the original licensor to copy, distribute or modify the Program subject to these terms and conditions. You may not impose any further restrictions on the recipients' exercise of the rights granted herein. When the App Store terms prohibit commercial use, general distribution, and modification, these are exactly the kinds of further restrictions that

Strava/BlueTooth issue?
9 beta 1 breaks Strava, Kinetic, Garmin Connect and Wahoo Fitness on iPhone 6+. Apps will launch but crash immediately. Appears to be Bluetooth-related e.g. Wahoo seems normal until you try to connect (via bluetooth) to a sensor, then immediate crash. Fact that four different apps, from four competing companies, are all broken suggests (to me, anyway) that the problem is on Apple's side -- they've changed something that, before, was commonly used and accepted.
