Reply to WorkoutKit WorkoutScheduler sync Broken with iOS 18.2 beta
I’m still experiencing this bug, and after extensive debugging, my conclusion is that something in my health data stored in my iCloud account is causing the issue. 🤷‍♂️ To clarify, the app itself is not the problem—it’s an app that is present on the App Store that works perfectly in other environments. (I also tried other app that used WorkoutKit with same results) Here's what I’ve tested so far: iPhone 16 Pro Max (my Apple ID) with Apple Watch Series 7:
❌ Not working Reset the Apple Watch (Series 7), same iPhone:
❌ Still not working iPhone 12 (different Apple ID) with the same Apple Watch (Series 7)
: ✅ Working perfectly Re-pair iPhone 16 Pro Max with Apple Watch (Series 7):
❌ Not working Reset iPhone 16 Pro Max using IPSW for a clean install, set up as a new iPhone with the same Apple ID but no iCloud backup. ✅ Worked temporarily (about 10 minutes, while iCloud/Health data was still downloading). ❌ Stopped working after abou

The developer disk image could not be mounted on this device - Xcode 16.0 - iPhone 16 Pro Max - iOS 18.0.1
I recently purchased an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I updated my phone, Mac OS, and Xcode to the latest versions. I have an Xcode project that builds and runs normally on my old device. However, on my iPhone 16 Pro Max I receive the following error: The developer disk image could not be mounted on this device. Severe Frame Drops and Chat Bug in Delta Force Garena on iPhone 16 Pro Max After iOS 26 Update
After updating my iPhone 16 Pro Max to iOS 26, I began experiencing serious performance issues while playing Delta Force Garena. The game struggles to maintain a stable 120 FPS, frequently dropping to 30 FPS or lower, causing severe lag and stuttering especially during intense action or in open environments. There’s also a critical bug when I open the in-game chat: once the chat is opened, I become completely unable to move or perform any actions. The only solution is to force close and restart the game. The chat feature becomes totally unusable in this state. What makes this even more frustrating is that I’ve seen Android devices running the game at higher resolutions and with stable 120 FPS, despite having technically weaker processors than the A18 Pro chip in my iPhone which Apple claims is the most powerful mobile chip. In reality, the game runs significantly better on my Galaxy S23 Ultra, with no frame drops and much smoother performance overall. This makes my iPhone

iOS 26 : iPhone 16 Pro not charging via USB-C
Hello, I installed iOS 26 beta 1 yesterday when it came off but now, when I plug my iPhone, it just do nothing. I can charge it via the induction charger but I can't via USB-C port. The other way I can charge it is by turning my iPhone off and plugging it so it starts and then it charges via USB-C Port even when it starts. The thing is that when I unplug the cable and try to plug it back in, it doesn't charge anymore... I tried to put the restore mode (with the Mac and the cable on the screen) and even the DFU Mode but the iPhone is not detected by my Macbook and it's the same thing for my Windows PC : not detected... I also tried to erase the settings and content but same issue... Not charging Apple Store can do nothing because it's a dev beta... Am I the only one to have that issue ?

Reply to iOS 18 developer beta: Writing Tools
I am using Xcode 16.1 beta 2 and have set writingToolsBehavior = .complete, yet the writing tools don't appear on the iPhone 16 pro running iOS 18.1. When is this going to work?

Reply to Ios 26 public beta 2 CarPlay glitch
Adding more info: it appears to be a problem with the list view. Maps work but everything from phone to messages to settings are not functional. I've tested with iphone 16 pro and iphone 14 in two different cars.

Reply to iOS 26: iPhone will not power on stuck on battery screen
Just to clarify for anyone reading (especially Apple folks), you were able to restore to 18.5, not iOS 26, correct? I had the exact same issue with an iPhone 16 Pro and can only go to 18.5, never 26.

iPhone 16 Pro's jpeg XL format for 3rd party apps
The system Camera app offers jpeg XL selection for ProRAW format. I found the static let JPEGXL: AVVideoCodecType in the documentation but how do you specify it for a 3rd party app? Would it be a replacement for using the .availableRawPhotoPixelFormatTypes?

As recently as January 2024 I have been able to send videos via iMessage that were ~1.5GB. besides iOS updates the only thing that is different is that I recently got an iPhone 16 Pro and now it doesn’t work. I regularly use the developer betas.
