Hi! We are facing App Rejection from Apple due to this
<>
Guidelines 5.1.1(i) - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and 5.1.2(i) - Legal - Privacy - Data Use Issue Description
Issue Description
The app appears to share the user’s personal data with a third-party AI service but the app does not clearly explain what data is sent, identify who the data is sent to, and ask the user’s permission before sharing the data.
Apps may only use, transmit, or share personal data after they meet all of the following requirements:
Obtain the user’s permission before sending data
Next Steps
If the app sends user data to a third-party AI service, revise the app to ask the user’s permission before sharing personal data with a third-party AI service.
If it does not already, the app’s privacy policy must also identify what data the app collects, how it collects that data, and all uses of that data, including if it is shared with a third-party AI service.
If the app does not send user data to a third-party AI service or does not include a third-party AI service, reply to this rejection to confirm and add this information to the App Review Information section of App Store Connect.
<>
We already updated our privacy policy. The ATT implementation was done. We even added a consent screen emphasizing that we need the user's consent to share some information with third-party AI services.
And after all that, we are still seeing the rejection.
Has someone else faced a similar issue? I saw someone here in the forum having almost the same problem, but there wasn't a solution.
What are the next steps?

Hello,
With the recent update to Guideline 1.2 stating apps used primarily for “anonymous chat” may be removed, could App Review clarify what “anonymous” means in this context?
In our app, users interact using a chosen username and avatar. We don’t display legal names publicly, but each user has a persistent, verified account and all UGC is tied to that account so we can enforce bans. We also provide filtering, reporting, and blocking.
Question: Do applications that provide chat functionality with pseudonymous users — meaning users do not display their real names — have the right to exist under this guideline, provided that accounts are persistent and enforceable?
If anyone has recently passed review with a similar pseudonymous chat model, I’d appreciate any guidance on how you framed 1.2 compliance.
Hi everyone, Just wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing longer-than-usual review times this February. My apps has been in review for a bit longer than normal, so I’m wondering if there are any known delays or if it’s just me.

App Review
Hello everyone,
I am hoping someone here can share some advice or has experienced a similar situation.
I am an individual developer and two of my apps have been stuck in 'Waiting for Review' status for over 10 to 12 days now. Prior to this, the review process was moving normally and I was receiving feedback from Apple on both apps. Then suddenly everything stopped and both apps have been sitting in the queue with no movement and no communication from the review team.
To make things worse, I am also unable to delete these apps or make any changes because their In-App Purchases are simultaneously under review, which is locking me out of managing my own apps entirely.
I already created a support case specifically for App Review (Case ID: 20000111755276) over a week ago, but unfortunately I have not heard back anything from Apple at all — no acknowledgment, no update, nothing. I am based in Pakistan and the phone callback option is not available for my region, so email and this forum are essentially my only options to get any help.
Has anyone else experienced such a long delay recently? Is there anything else I can do to get this moving or at least get a response from the review team?
Any advice or shared experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello everyone,
My app (App ID: 6758463939) has been waiting for review since February 3 and the status has not changed since then.
All issues from the previous rejection were fixed:
App name corrected and now matches after installation
Demo account with full access provided
All requested changes completed
I also contacted App Review through Resolution Center and opened a support case, but have not received any response yet.
I just want to confirm that everything is normal and that the app is still in the review queue.
Has anyone experienced similar delays recently with first submissions?
If there is any additional step I should take or another place to contact Apple, please let me know.
Thank you.
Hello everyone,
I’m currently experiencing unusually long wait times for app reviews and wanted to check if others are seeing similar delays this week.
Here is the current status of my submissions:
App Store Update: Stuck in "Waiting for Review" much longer than the typical 24–48 hour window.
New Version: A newly submitted version also seems to be stalled in the initial phase.
TestFlight Processing: Even TestFlight builds are taking longer than usual to process.
Expedited Review: I've attempted an expedited review request and direct communication, but the status remains unchanged so far.
What’s confusing is that I see other apps in the same category receiving updates, so I’m unsure if this is a localized technical glitch or a broader delay affecting a specific group of developers.
I’m not looking to escalate anything just yet; I’m simply trying to gauge if this is a widespread issue at the moment. I would greatly appreciate any insights into your recent experiences or if you've noticed similar patterns over the last few days.
Thanks in advance, and good luck to everyone with pending submissions! 🙂

App Review
I keep submitting versions of my app, but days go by without review, and I am forced to resubmit (development does not stop obviously).
It has now been 8 days since I have been trying to submit 1.1, with no success. Previously review happened within 12-24 hours. What happened?
This is a key time in my development, as the first update has many improvements, and I have fresh installs that I don't want to disappoint. Please help me out.

We received a DPLA compliance notification from Apple referencing Section 11.2(g) for our developer account (REVSTREAM LLC).
We responded promptly and have taken corrective measures to ensure full compliance. However, when attempting to send a follow-up message through the developer.apple.com/contact form (Membership and Account → Agreements and Contracts), we receive the error: "There was a problem processing your request."
We are unable to reach Apple Developer Support through this channel to confirm our response was received and to provide additional information.
Could the @Apple team please advise on an alternative way to communicate regarding this matter? We want to ensure we are fully addressing all concerns.
Thank you.
I have an App stuck in waiting for review. ’ve raised an expedite request and still no response. Anyone experiencing this and know how to get a review in this case?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently experiencing unusually long review waiting times and wanted to ask if others see the same behavior this week.
My situation:
App Store update has been in “Waiting for Review” significantly longer than usual, my apps are pending from last 2 weeks.
I’m not trying to escalate anything just looking to understand if this is currently affecting more developers.
Would really appreciate hearing about your recent experiences.

Hello everyone,
Our app was recently rejected under Guideline 5.0 – Legal (U.S. Sanctions Compliance).
Apple review reported that the binary contains the following domain:
https://lib.eshia.ir
However, after extensive investigation:
• The app does NOT connect to this domain
• The app does NOT provide services to sanctioned regions
• The domain does NOT exist in our source code, API calls, or UI
• Network logs confirm no outgoing requests to this host
We suspect the reference is coming from a bundled third-party dependency dataset (possibly a public suffix / domain validation / fraud detection list embedded in a framework).
We already:
Extracted IPA
Scanned all source files
Ran strings on the main binary
Checked networking layer
But we still cannot identify which framework contains this entry.
Questions:
Has anyone faced a sanctions rejection due to a domain inside a compiled SDK dataset?
Is Apple expecting removal of the exact string from the binary even if unused?
How do you typically identify the specific framework containing the string?
Is it acceptable to strip the string from the binary or must the dependency be removed entirely?
We are preparing a compliance fix and want to ensure the correct approach before resubmitting.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hello,
My app has been in Waiting for Review status for more than 48 hr.
I have previously published 3 apps, and my last approval was in October. Normally, my apps move to “In Review” within 24–48 hours, so this delay is unusual.
There are no messages in the Resolution Center and no visible issues in App Store Connect.
Is this delay normal currently, or should I contact Apple Developer Support?
Thank you.

App Review
Hello, I am one of the developers of Scaniverse and we are looking to push a significant update of the app by the Feb 20th. We have been in review for the past 2 days and are concerned that we won't have our app approved before our launch deadline. Our company is coordinating a launch across multiple applications with marketing to coincide with an event and it is very important that we be able to deliver this app.
Is there anyway someone can look at this or someone I can reach out to expedite this? We uploaded a prior build several weeks ago and approval was much quicker, so this caught us off guard.

Dear Sirs,
My app, Puzzler, is now live on the App Store and working properly:
https://apps.apple.com/ar/app/puzzler/id6759109615
However, I am experiencing an issue with AdMob. Their system reports that my app-ads.txt file cannot be found, even though it is correctly hosted and publicly accessible.
To address this, I have submitted a new version of the app where I updated both the Support URL and the Marketing URL in App Store Connect to ensure they point directly to the domain where the app-ads.txt file is hosted.
I’m currently waiting for the review process to complete and hoping this resolves the issue.
Has anyone experienced something similar with AdMob verification? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Jose Rodriguez

App Review
Hello everyone,
I am seeking advice regarding a persistent Guideline 4.2 (Minimum Functionality) rejection for my app, Naxçıvan Avto. My app is a specialized automotive marketplace designed specifically for the Nakhchivan region.
The Issue:
The App Review team has stated that the app's usefulness is limited by minimal functionality and lacks sufficient "app-like" features. However, the app is built strictly around the services provided by our company and the specific requirements of our local automotive industry.
Current Functionality:
• Dynamic Regional Marketplace: Real-time car and license plate listings with detailed technical data (VIN codes, mileage, engine specs).
• Localized Financial Tools: Filters and categorization for Cash (Nağd), Credit, and Barter options, which are essential for our regional business model.
• Real-time Push Ecosystem: Integration with Supabase Edge Functions to notify users about new listings and approval statuses.
• Native Tooling: Includes a financial calculator for credit evaluations and a direct communication bridge between buyers and sellers.
The Constraint:
As a developer, I am strictly limited to the services provided by the company. Adding "entertainment" features or unrelated utilities would deviate from the app's core business purpose and degrade the user experience for our specific target audience.
My Question:
How can I better demonstrate to the review team that a highly specialized, niche business tool provides "sufficient utility" without adding bloatware? Has anyone successfully appealed a 4.2 rejection for a regional marketplace by emphasizing business-specific constraints?
I have already populated the app with significant real-world content and ensured all interactive elements (filters, calculators, notifications) are fully functional.
Any insights or suggestions on how to phrase my appeal or further demonstrate "app-like" value within these constraints would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
My app wich ID is 6749690414 is waiting for review since Feb 10, is this normal? We have few critical changes to be sent and our business has come to stand still.
I'm not trying to bother anyone here, just need to make sure that all is fine and the app will be "reviewed" sooner or later!
if there is any place that I can submit a ticket or ask more properly please let me know.
Kindest regards
Vinesh
Dear Sirs
My app with ID 6758008521 is waiting for review since January 19, I'm a bit worried, I understand that review times can vary, but it has now been several days without any status change or feedback

My app has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" since 13th February after a previous update was rejected. I fixed the issue mentioned in the rejection and submitted a new build, but there has been no updates since then.
There are no new messages in App Store Connect and the status has not changed. It has now been several days without any update.
Has anyone experienced this after a rejected build? Is this normal review delay, or should I contact Apple directly?
Any advice would be appreciated.
