App Stuck in Review for 21+ Days – Employee-Only HR App
Hello everyone, I would appreciate any advice or insight from developers who have experienced a similar situation. Our app, FORTIS HRIS, was submitted to App Review on May 19, 2026 and has been in "In Review" status since May 20, 2026. It has now been over 21 days without any update. App details: First app on our Apple Developer Organization account Internal HR application for FORTIS GARMENTS LTD. Features include attendance, leave management, payroll, employee directory, and geo-punch attendance Users cannot register themselves; only company employees can log in using company-issued credentials Working review credentials were provided in App Review Information No Resolution Center messages No requests for additional information No rejection Status remains "In Review" We have contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times and opened support cases, but have not yet received any update regarding the review. Has anyone experienced a similar delay with an employee-only business application? Is this normal for internal corporate apps, or should we be taking any additional action? Any guidance or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Pending Termination Notice 3.2(f) – Built Entirely New Game for Compliance – Appeal Submitted 10 Days No Response
Hello Apple Developer Community and App Review Team, I received a Pending Termination Notice on May 29, 2026, for my account (Developer: Bushra Malik) related to Section 3.2(f), regarding app submissions for Dress Up Fashion: Styling Game. I submitted a formal appeal 10 days ago but have not yet received a response or case number confirmation. I want to provide brief context: Our original Clothing Store Simulator received repeated rejections. Rather than continuing to resubmit the same app, we made the decision to build a completely new game from scratch — new code, new assets, new UI, and a fully revised App Store listing. Nothing from the original submission was carried forward. This was a deliberate good faith effort to achieve compliance, not an attempt to evade review. We also believe an older binary may have been reviewed rather than our latest build — a technical issue we have experienced previously on this account. Our account has 4+ years of publishing history and 25+ live games currently on the App Store. Not a single other app is in rejection or under any violation. We have never engaged in subscription scams, fake reviews, bait-and-switch tactics, or any of the fraudulent conduct described in the termination notice. I am respectfully requesting: Confirmation that my appeal is actively under review A status update or case reference number Any additional information Apple needs from our side We are fully cooperative and have all source code, assets, and submission history available immediately upon request. Thank you sincerely for your time. Bushra Malik Apple Developer Account: Bushra Malik

4.3.0 Design: Spam rejection
I have the following situation that I would like to have some advise from the community on. I have an iOS app for Hong Kong Mahjong published on the App Store. The app has been in production since February 2026 and I successfully managed to get 20+ updates approved by Apple. However, my latest update (which just introduced a new feature (play offline with nearby friends via WiFi direct)) gets continuously rejected citing 4.3.0 Design: Spam. I asked the reviewers for more specific feedback on this classification but the answer is always ambiguous. I also opened an appeal with Apple for this almost one month ago but have not received any feedback whatsoever. I do not understand why the app is being classified as spam all of a sudden. While there are a few apps for Hong Kong Mahjong in the App Store my app has distinct features: training mode with live coaching advise (for absolute beginners) support for a full 4 round game (16+ hands) two layout variants (in addition to the classic board game / table layout, I am offering a more accessible list view layout as well) The game uses its own backend which I developed from scratch. Bots make their gameplay decisions using either the proprietary heuristics engine or the proprietary machine learning model. Given all this together, I completely fail to understand the spam classification and I find it extremely unhelpful that Apple reviewers provide the most generic feedback thinkable to a classification which is very nuanced and could be explained by various different things (e. g. metadata, app binary, etc.). There is one thing I would like to give as context, as I am not sure if it contributes to the spam classification: Just before trying to get the latest update approved I submitted a new app, which supports offline play online, for App Store approval. This app was rejected because it was deemed to similar with the app for which I am receiving the spam rejections now. Any advise on how I can get this resolved would be highly appreciated. Here is the link to my app: https://apps.apple.com/app/hong-kong-mahjong/id6758140951

App Stuck in Review for More Than 4 Weeks
Is anyone else experiencing unusually long App Review times? My app has been in review for about a month now with no progress. After waiting for so long, I cancelled and resubmitted it twice, hoping it might help, but the situation remains exactly the same. How long did it take to get resolved, and is there anything else I can do besides continuing to wait?

App review has been ghosting me
Hey Apple community, I wanted to ask about my unusual and strange case. I submitted an app for review — it went into the fast track. It's a simple game, but the problem is that the app has been in review for almost two months!!!!!!! On top of that, every email I send regarding the app simply gets no response within two days. in fact, not a single response at all I feel completely lost. There's no way to communicate except through email, and I spent the last of my student savings to open a developer account. What am I supposed to do?

Hello! I can't stand the problem with Apple anymore and I don't know what to do. I don't know how to communicate directly with them and have them tell me the problem clearly, not just 5.2.2 I need transparent and fast communication. App Review 3.2.1(viii) – Loan App Rejected Due to Domain Ownership Despite Parent Company Ownership
Hi Apple Team, We're looking for guidance from developers who have successfully resolved a rejection under App Review Guideline 3.2.1(viii). Our app is mPokket: Instant Loan App, a consumer lending application that has been live on Google Play for nearly 10 years. The app is published by Maybright Ventures Private Limited, which owns and operates the mPokket lending business and brand. While consumers know the service as "mPokket," the legal entity behind the business and the developer account is Maybright Ventures Private Limited. Our iOS app has now been rejected twice with the following message: "The app provides loan services but the domains listed on the app's Product Pages are not clearly under your control or ownership." Apple also mentions that the Product Page domains and the email domains of the Apple Accounts associated with the developer account should clearly identify the company providing the loan services. Has anyone faced a similar situation where: The consumer brand name is different from the parent/legal entity name? The developer account is under the parent company while the app is marketed under a consumer brand? App Review requested additional clarification regarding ownership of the lending business and website domains? If so, what documentation or changes helped obtain approval? Did you need to: Change the Account Holder/Admin Apple IDs to use the parent company's domain? Add additional ownership documentation? Provide a corporate structure explanation or trademark/brand ownership details? Any guidance or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

App Review Escalation Case Pending for 12+ Days Without Update (Case ID 102880884162)
Hello, I’m seeking guidance regarding an App Review escalation that has been pending for over 12 days without any update. App submitted for review: [Date] Case ID: 102880884162 Current status: Waiting for response from the App Review team Time elapsed: 12+ days I have already contacted Apple Developer Support and received the case ID above, but there has been no further communication regarding the review status or next steps. App review - Does Apple even care?
Hi, I will list my experience with my app so far and apple review / support, this is definitely a really bad experience, that harms my app and all the investment I did for it. This is NOT what I would have expected when I paid the 99 dollars. Worth to mention that those 99 dollars are not the biggest part of the investment, the team working behind the app, the server side development, and others have their cost and the potential business opportunity I pursue by releasing this app is being broken due to Apple lack of answers to my situation. On May 12th we submitted the very first version of our app for review. On May 13th we got feedback to add some extra Meta data, and we corrected it. On May 14th, the app was approved, and published. Till now, everything was a really good experience and what I would consider a "normal" review experience... but then the bad situation started: On May 15th, we submitted an update for review. We did not have any answer ever from Apple for many days... then on May 21st I created a support ticket. There was NO ANSWER on the support ticket yet. We got our first feedback on May 26th (11 days after submission), again a Meta data issue, that we corrected right away, and re submitted for review, expecting a quick answer on it. Again no answer whatsoever from the review team. On June 2nd (12 days after I submitted the support ticket) I got an email on that support ticket: "We can assure you that your app has not been forgotten and is proceeding through the review process." This seemed like a joke. We decided to wait an extra day ... even when we were sitting on several improvements and bug fixes of the app. On June 3rd, 9AM GTM+2, after not been able to wait any longer, I did cancelled the previous submit (the one from May 15th), in order to submit an updated version of the app with improvements and bug fixes and requested the review to be expedited. That same day, a bit later, I got another email from apple support: "... We are currently experiencing a high volume of requests from our developers, and your patience is greatly appreciated. Yesterday your app was expedited. We noticed that you have rejected your app on at least one occasion. When you reject and resubmit your binary, your expected review time will once again be 24 hours. ..." I have replied that email on June 4th and yet another answer on June 5th ... I got not answer whatsoever. I am still waiting for the review I submitted on June 3rd, that supposedly is being expedited ... I do need that out by tomorrow Wednesday 10th. On today's time, on a new app release, it is really bad for Apple to not provide the mechanism to get an update out in a whole 4 weeks... I imagine that this is not a common case ... but then again, I do not understand what makes my app the exception ... and the lack of any answer from Apple does not help.

PWA (Angular) packaged via WebView for App Store – Guidance on App Review compliance and limitations
Body We are currently evaluating an architecture approach for an iOS application and are looking for guidance on App Store Review expectations and platform limitations. Context We are modernizing an existing healthcare application that handles regulated data (PHI). The application is intended for use by internal staff and authorized third-party contractors (not a consumer-facing app, and no monetization). To support iOS distribution, we are evaluating packaging an Angular-based Progressive Web App (PWA) using a lightweight native wrapper (e.g., via PWABuilder), resulting in a WebView-hosted application. Proposed Architecture Angular PWA hosted remotely and loaded via HTTPS Packaged inside a native iOS container (WKWebView-based) Authentication via Passkeys (WebAuthn / FIDO2) Backend APIs implemented in .NET Limited offline functionality using IndexedDB (non-sensitive data only) No persistent storage of sensitive data on-device The native wrapper primarily provides distribution and lifecycle management; most functionality is delivered via the hosted PWA. Key Consideration This application is not intended to function as a general-purpose browser, but rather as a purpose-built, workflow-specific experience for healthcare operations. Questions 1. App Review / Guideline 4.2 Have developers had success getting WebView-hosted applications (primarily PWA-driven) approved when they provide a complete and production-grade user experience? How does Apple typically evaluate whether such an app meets the “minimum functionality” requirement versus being considered a repackaged website? 2. Dynamic Content / Updates Are there specific restrictions on delivering functionality dynamically via server-hosted content after app approval? At what point would backend-driven changes require a new App Store submission? 3. Data Storage & WebView Behavior Are there notable differences in how iOS handles storage (e.g., IndexedDB, local storage) in: Safari-installed PWAs WebView-based apps distributed via the App Store? Are there known limitations or caveats when relying on IndexedDB within WKWebView? 4. Platform Capabilities Are there practical limitations for WebView-based apps related to: Offline functionality File handling Long-term platform support 5. Healthcare / Regulated Data For apps handling regulated healthcare data (PHI), are there additional expectations or best practices (beyond standard guidelines) that Apple reviewers typically look for? Goal We are trying to determine whether this architecture is viable for App Store distribution before proceeding further with implementation. Any insights, experiences, or pointers to relevant documentation would be greatly appreciated.

In-App Purchases rejected without explanation while app itself was approved twice
Hello, I'm looking for advice regarding a confusing App Review situation. My app has already passed App Review and been approved for distribution twice: Version 1.0.0 → Approved Version 1.0.1 → Approved However, all three of my In-App Purchases keep getting rejected. What is confusing is that: The rejection appears to be related to localization/metadata. All three IAPs are rejected at the same time. No review notes or explanation are provided in App Store Connect. The app itself continues to pass review successfully. The IAP titles and descriptions contain normal text and do not appear to violate any App Store guidelines. The affected IAPs are: Remove Ads Forever (Non-Consumable) Unlock Character Outfit (Non-Consumable) Power-Up Coins (Consumable) I have already: Reviewed all IAP metadata and localizations. Removed any pricing or promotional text from descriptions. Added reviewer instructions explaining how to access each IAP. Resubmitted multiple times. Despite this, all three IAPs continue to be rejected without any explanation. Has anyone experienced a similar situation where: The app is approved, All IAPs are rejected together, No review notes are provided, And the rejection appears related to localization or metadata? Could this be a false positive or an App Store Connect issue? If anyone from Apple can investigate or suggest where to look, I would greatly appreciate it. App Name: Let's Run Girl App Version: 1.0.1 Bundle ID: com.atawan.letrungirl Apple ID: 6770245102 Note: Currently I decide to hide the app from store visibility until the IAP issues are resolved. Thank you

App stuck in “Waiting for Review”2 Weeks Total
Hi everyone, This is my first time posting here, so I apologize if this is not the right place. I have an active Apple Developer account, and one of my apps has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for about two weeks. It has not moved to “In Review” yet. I tried contacting Apple Developer Support through the official support form, but I keep getting an error that says, “There was an error processing your request.” Has anyone else experienced this, or is there another official way to contact Apple about a stuck app review submission? Thank you.

Apple sign in on MSAL entra
Our application currently uses Sign in with Apple through Microsoft Entra ID (B2C) rather than a direct integration with Apple's Authentication Services framework. We understand the requirement that users should not be asked to provide information that is already supplied by Sign in with Apple. However, in our current implementation, Microsoft Entra ID (B2C) does not provide the user's name details to our application, and as a result we are unable to access this information after authentication. Could you please provide guidance on how to satisfy this requirement when Sign in with Apple is configured through Microsoft Entra ID (B2C)? Specifically, we would appreciate clarification on whether there is an Apple-approved approach for obtaining the user's name in this federated authentication scenario without requiring the user to re-enter information. Apple rejected my app with these reasons "Issue Description The app offers Sign in with Apple as a login option but does not follow the design and user experience requirements for Sign in with Apple. Specifically: The app requires users to provide their name and/or email address after using Sign in with Apple. This information is already provided by the Authentication Services framework. These requirements provide the consistent experience users expect when using Sign In with Apple to authenticate or log in to an account. Next Steps Please revise the Sign in with Apple experience in the app to address the issues we identified above. Resources To learn more about App Store design requirements, see guideline 4. For an overview of design and formatting recommendations for Sign in with Apple, review the Human Interface Guidelines."

Made for Kids, Sharing and PermissionKit
I have created a cute watchOS virtual pet. It is "Made for Kids" and allows no external links/communication without a math gate in either the iOS companion or the main watchOS app. Customers have requested the ability to share their pet with their friends, and to be able to see their friends pets alongside their own in the both apps. Is this acceptable under "Made for Kids", as long as I use DeclaredAgeRange and PermissionKit for non adult users prior to allowing them to share or receive a share? As this is quite a complex feature I don't want to start it without an idea of how likely an update to be accepted. If this is not acceptable, is the solution to remove "Made for Kids" and increase the age rating?

App Status Stuck on Waiting for Review
Hello App Review Team, Our app submission has been stuck in the “Waiting for Review” status for an extended period, and we would like to kindly ask whether there is any issue or additional action required from our side. We have already uploaded the latest build and verified the In-App Purchase configuration in App Store Connect. Since the status has not changed, we wanted to check if the submission queue is functioning normally or if there is anything preventing the review from starting. We would appreciate any clarification or guidance you can provide. Submission ID: 85a6b879-5218-4f2c-b444-de09d148268e Apple ID: 6766198981 Best regards, Mert Akgün

Subject: Inquiry Regarding Review Delay & Request for Escalation - App ID: 6756904154
Dear Apple Developer Support Team,I am writing to respectfully draw your attention to a persistent technical bottleneck regarding the review status of our app, "未来洞-游戏搭档:专业指导,高效冲分" (Apple ID: 6756904154, Version 2.0.0)。 Currently, this version has been stuck in the "Waiting for Review" status for 13 consecutive days without any status migration or progress。 We completely understand and deeply respect that the App Store maintains a rigorous evaluation process to ensure user safety and quality. As a dedicated developer team striving for long-term and compliant operation, we noticed a consistent pattern in our previous submissions: each of our last three updates spent more than 20 days in the "Waiting for Review" stage, but once they moved to "In Review," the evaluation was successfully completed within a single day. This contrast encourages us that our application codebase, metadata, and in-app purchases (IAP) are fully aligned with the App Store Review Guidelines. We would also like to sincerely reassure your team that our app 100% strictly utilizes Apple's native IAP for all digital transactions, with absolutely no third-party payment frameworks or external billing methods. While we patiently appreciate your standard evaluation pipeline, waiting over 20 days for the system to assign a reviewer for each update has posed significant operational challenges for our scheduled marketing events, causing severe financial and operational distress to our small team. Therefore, we kindly request your technical intervention with the following: 1:Technical Pipeline Reset: We would be deeply grateful if a support engineering representative could look into our account backend to check if our queue is frozen, and help manually reset or refresh the dispatch status of this version. 2:Information Verification: Please let us know if any additional clarification, video demonstrations of our core features, or documentation is needed. We are fully prepared to cooperate and provide it immediately。 3:Root Cause Feedback: If there are any specific compliance parameters or meta-settings on our end causing this systematic 20-day queue delay, please advise so we can correct it permanently。 We greatly appreciate your time, professional understanding, and assistance in resolving this critical systemic bottleneck. Multiple apps stuck in WAITING_FOR_REVIEW and expedited review form fails
Hello, I’m posting again because our previous forum post received the following Apple Staff reply: “Thank you for your post. We're investigating and will contact you in App Store Connect to provide further assistance. If you continue to experience issues during review, please contact us.” However, the issue has not been resolved yet. We have not received any separate contact in App Store Connect, the Resolution Center, or email. We currently have two active apps in the same developer account that are stuck in Waiting for Review. Because multiple apps in the same account are affected at the same time, this seems like it may be an account-level App Review queue or routing issue rather than an individual app binary issue. For one of the affected apps: App ID: 6760743106 Review submission ID: 6950ecff-f833-404d-b04b-ac34ec552b85 Submitted: June 1, 2026 Review submission state: WAITING_FOR_REVIEW Review submission item state: READY_FOR_REVIEW App Store version state: WAITING_FOR_REVIEW Build processing state: VALID Build audience type: APP_STORE_ELIGIBLE Build expired: false TestFlight installation works normally, and there is no Resolution Center message. We are also unable to submit an expedited review request because the expedited review form itself fails. After selecting the correct app and platform, the form sends a POST request and receives HTTP 200 OK, but the response page displays: “Sorry, we didn’t receive your request. An error has occurred and your submission wasn’t completed. Please go back and try again. If you continue to have issues, contact us.” The POST payload includes the correct app ID and platform: expedite_app_id_req: 6760743106 expedite_app_platform: ios Could Apple Staff please check whether our developer account or these submissions are affected by an internal App Review queue/routing issue? We are currently blocked because the review has not started for multiple apps, we have not received any follow-up contact, and the expedited review request form cannot be submitted.

App Store Connect app stuck in review for 2 weeks
My app has been stuck in "waiting for review" for almost 2 weeks now. At first, it was reviewed within a day or two, and I made my changes, but now it seems like nobody is looking at it anymore. I have tried emailing and calling apple for support but I have gotten no replies. What is happening here?

Apple also mentions that the Product Page domains and the email domains of the Apple Accounts associated with the developer account should clearly identify the company providing the loan services.

Has anyone experienced similar delays recently? Is there an appropriate channel for following up on a pending App Review escalation when there has been no response for an extended period? Any advice from Apple staff or fellow developers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Apple Review
Hello! I can't stand the problem with Apple anymore and I don't know what to do. I get an update every few days to the application, I send it back for review, but every 4-5 days I get a rejection again. I don't know how to communicate directly with them and have them tell me the problem clearly, not just 5.2.2 I need transparent and fast communication. I've already lost a lot of time and money, I have other projects pending and I don't know what to do in this situation. I'm waiting for some advice and maybe a direct contact with the Apple developer. Thank you! Apple ID: 6770487788 Other App: 6770216468

I imagine that this is not a common case ... but then again, I do not understand what makes my app the exception ... and the lack of any answer from Apple does not help.

app stuck in waiting for review for over 14 days.
What is the recourse to getting your application reviewed in the 'promised' 48 hour period I am at over 14 days and still waiting. I have tried the application review speed up email but that seems to go into the either.. Is there a trick or tickbox I missed? app: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/group-ride-io/id6756597994

Best regards, Contact Name: [阳 春 / Chun Yang]Apple ID / App ID: 6756904154
