Our organization is deploying passwordless authentication. Instead of using a password, employees must use the Microsoft Authenticator app to complete the login process. Unfortunately, employees with passwordless authentication can't complete the login on the Wi-Fi Captive portal with SAML authentication. The reason is that when an employee switches to the Microsoft Authenticator app, the Apple CNA (Apple Network Captive Assistant) disappears. As a result, the authentication process breaks. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a reliable source on how this feature works on iOS devices. Hi I am trying to develop Apple MDM solution as a vendor. I got the Vendor certificate from apple developer portal. When I was trying to generate the csr and upload to Portal (https://identity.apple.com/pushcert/) It says Invalid Certificate Signing Request. I had also tried to follow documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/devicemanagement/setting-up-push-notifications-for-your-mdm-customers) but still the same error. Can anyone please guide how to generate the csr.

We have an office application used internally within our enterprise. The Provisioning Profiles (PP) for the app were about to expire, so we updated the PP and released a new version. However, we've encountered an issue where some users did not update their phones in time. After the app expired, they found it unusable and downloaded the new version, but the newly downloaded app also crashes on launch. Restarting the phone does not resolve the issue, and this primarily occurs on iOS 18.3.2. What could be the cause of this problem, and how should we address it?

Apple provides a function to create TTS voice as a file in TTS. (AVSpeechUtterance/AVSpeechSynthesizer) Or, if the user records the video of TTS playback and uses that video I wonder what the scope of use is if I use this TTS voice to make YouTube, TikTok, or commercial videos. Is it impossible to use it commercially at all? Can I use it commercially with the source indicated? Can I use it commercially without a separate source indication? Hello, I write my bachelor-thesis about geolocation data on an iPhone. I write a small app to get the actual coordinates and saved into a sqlite database. so far so far. Now I have a GPS-generator from R&S to simulate gps-data and satellites. I can simulate 6 satellites parallel to my "fake" geolocation. I write the app also on an Android -smartphone, this Android can display the Satellites-ID and the "fake" geolocation..thats fine for my thesis. But my iPhone would not display anything I this setup? During outside the app would be deliver the actual coordinate, but with the signal.genarator I can't get coordinates. I try GPS, Glosnass, Galileo and Beidoo but nothing happens on my iPhone 12mini. The IOS is 18.1 and I use the core Location api. Has anybody some ideas for me and my thesis?

I am creating a prototype with the new Screen Time API introduced by Apple. The issue I am facing is, Applications installed in child device is not showing in parent device with FamilyActivityPicker. It is showing in Child device and apps can be shielded from child's device. Can some one describe, how to list the apps in parent's device. Both Device are running in iOS 15.3. Both falls in same family group Child is under 13 yrs old Screen Time enabled in both device and parent device can see child in Screen Time.

We are encountering a campus-wide problem where Macs are take an unusually long time to delete files on external drives formatted with ExFAT. We manage these Macs through Jamf Pro, and numerous policies are applied when the devices are enrolled. We have tested the issue in both scenarios—when the Macs are connected to the domain and when they are not—and the slow deletion persists in both cases. At this point, we are unsure whether the issue lies on our end or if it is related to the operating system itself. If anyone has found a fix or workaround for this problem, we would appreciate your input.

Hi, I am experiencing an issue with in-house apps on iOS 18. When the MDM profile is removed, newly installed in-house apps cannot be opened. However, previously installed in-house apps still work fine until the device is restarted. Context: Our in-house apps are not distributed via MDM but through an internal company app store. These apps are signed with an enterprise certificate and have been working fine on previous iOS versions. Steps to reproduce: Install an in-house app while the MDM profile is active -> The app works fine. Remove the MDM profile. Install a new in-house app (signed with the same enterprise certificate) The newly installed app does not open at all. The existing in-house apps installed before MDM removal continue to work normally. Restart the device. Now, even the previously installed in-house apps no longer open. Observed behavior: The newly installed in-house app does not open, and no trust prompt appears in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management. The previously installed in-house apps continue to function normally until the device is restarted. After restarting, none of the in-house apps open anymore. Is there a now restriction in iOS 18 regarding in-house app installation after MDM removal? Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
