On an Intel Mac, in Photos show the information window, then click + to add a face circle. Enlarge the view, then drag to position the circle. The position and size of the circle are unstable, as is text typed into the Name field of the circle. Try to type a name in the name text field. Sometimes the text disappears, then later reappears. The reappearing text can be from various bits of text that previously were typed. In expanded view sometimes dragging the circle causes Photos to crash, more often the circle jumps to some position other than where it was dragged, or where it was before dragging. While dragging to move the entire circle can cause the circle to jump to unpredictable locations or crash, making the circle larger or smaller does not cause a crash, so long as the position is not changed. In some cases the new location to which the circle jumps can be outside the pane that contains the photo's image. This seems to resemble the bug enabling CVE-2024-11691: Out-of-bounds write in Apple GPU drivers via WebGL. That bug is said to involve WebGL operations on Apple silicon M series devices, and thus only affect Apple M series hardware. In contrast, the bug I am reporting occurs in Intel code on my MaPro7,1 with AMD gpu, and seems not present on my M1 MaBookPro. I have sent many automatically generated crash reports, and Feedbacks with extensive System Diagnostics etc reports. I have been sending such feedback a long time (years?) through several iterations of macOS. I tried to open a case with standard Apple support. I was told I could not because I am using beta software (macOS 115.2 Beta (24C5089c)), and that I should work through the developer program. So here I am. I think this bug should get more attention. Please advise me if there is a better way or place to post this.

First, I apologize if I post to the wrong forum, but this is kinda new to me. Backstory: I recently joined a company as CTO and the first topic on my agenda is the mobile presence. The android app was built in-house, but the iOS app was outsourced to an app/web development agency. The problem: the aforementioned agency ceased operations in mid-2024 without notifying us. They cancelled their dev program enrollment and our apps are no longer available on the App Store. And the agency reps are not responding to emails and phone calls. My question: is there a way to get access to our application? We plan in-house redesign and refactoring in 2025, but we want access to the bundle ID, the app groups, the iCloud container, etc. We can present legal documents, company website and branding, everything to prove that app is technically ours. The sender starts an NFC payment session from their device. Simultaneously, the receiver starts an NFC session to accept the payment. The sender's device should be able to detect the receiver’s NFC tag and process the transaction securely.

Hi All, Im writing a flutter app and have had no issue thus far. My latest review says the iPad air (5th) is hanging on the splash (launch) screen. I have no idea why this is. The main method In flutter is more or less empty, as functions have been offset elsewhere. I'm not quite sure what to do next. I resorted to rebuilding the IOS dir and that make a difference for the iPhone issue not the iPad. I run it in the simulator and notice one issue which I imagine is the problem. it states: Errors found! Invalidating cache... fopen failed for data file: errno = 2 (No such file or directory) Errors found! Invalidating cache... I'm using plane old flutter and don't believe I access any assets that aren't specified. Any pointer would be a great help!

I bought a new 16 pro, tried to transfer by transfer on first startup from 15 pro max all data. I have 15 pro max on 18.2 beta. During the transfer process it requested an upgrade on the 16 pro to the beta. Now when I try to swipe up it doesn't open the code screen, as if I bring my finger to some part of the screen and the shutter immediately bounces back, for a split second I see the unlock screen with keyboard. (The screen and touchscreen were fine). The phone is getting very warm, charging. I never finished the transfer from the old iPhone. It turned out during the migration I got to the stage where it asked to upgrade to the beta version. I agreed, the phone updated and got this. Macbook can't see the new iPhone. I use the scan feature notes frequently. Steps were: open app click paperclick click scan documents scan save then I share to my email. click mail icon on then I would normally be given a size to choose from small, medium or large it would ask about the subject which I always let blank. With my new phone/updated ios I am given an option to to mail drop or attach document. I have done both and my document size is large. I need to minimize to 25% to fit on computer screen. I spoke to apple support. How do I fix this?

I updated my Apple Watch Series 6 before Apple withdrew beta 11.4 as an option. I see on forums that I am not alone with this issue. Many series 6 watches are now stuck in a boot loop. I hope Apple can resolve the issue for those of us that pushed the update to our watches before the issue was identified. Support were unable to assist.

Hi, i bought iphone 16 plus in mid of november and currently on ios 18.2 (beta 4). It was automatically upgraded in my phone. Now the problem i'm facing is the whatsapp notifications. the summarise notifications is not working for whatsapp only. when i receive the msg and my screen is on, i see 1-2-3 msgs on whatsapp icon but got the notifications after 10 seconds. moreover, when i'm texting someone and chat is open during texting i only see single tick on my msgs and when i close my chat then double tick appears. all other apps are working fine. only whatsapp creating this issue. i have reinstalled it, updated it did everything but problem remains same.

Post his departure from the company, he has made it clear that he will try to cause damage to our iOS app to the extent that it starts to crash. Even though we have removed his access, as a non tech founder, I am not sure what ways he can edit or hamper our iOS app and what measures we can take to protect the same. To make room, I deleted some apps, but I was still hovering around 250-253/256 GB of used storage. Later, I heard that getting iCloud storage would free up space by storing photos in the cloud, so I subscribed to 200 GB of iCloud storage. I used it for about a day but then canceled the subscription after hearing it wasn’t effective at freeing up much space. Unfortunately, I didn’t check my storage before canceling the subscription, which I now realize was a mistake. In December, I took a lot of photos and videos during trips, but I didn’t check my storage, assuming I’d hit full capacity soon. However, just two days ago, I checked my storage and was shocked to see that it had suddenly dropped to around 105 GB. This morning, it dropped again to about 100.96 GB. I read in an article that this could be a bug and that updating the software might help, so I updated my phone to iOS 18. After the update, I checked my storage again, and it had dropped further to 94.16 GB. Then, in the same minute, it fluctuated to 94.99 GB, and four minutes later, it went down to 94.65 GB. Now, as I’m writing this, it’s back up to 95.58 GB. Could anyone explain what’s going on?

I'm a developer that has only produced for a single company. Though my developer account shows me as the account holder, my "Enrolled as" status is "Organization," and the "Entity" field shows the name of that company. I want to build an app for a separate company/organization, but unsure how to proceed. My App Store Connect account shows the original company name beneath my name as the only option in the account ID selector menu, so when I begin the New App process it automatically assumes I'm doing it for that company. Can I change my "Enrolled as" status to something independent of any organization, do I need to create a completely separate account to do this, or how should I proceed?
