So here is my issue regarding iOS 26 Beta 3. I was playing a game called BangBang Survivor, while inside the game there is an option to make the game ad free with a monthly subscription. Somehow i found that it doesnt work anymore on Beta 3. When I clicked renew subcription, it shows “This Purchase has already been bought. It will restored for free” and I found that buying diamonds actually working, except those ad free subscription was not working. I contacted game dev for this issue, they cant seems to solve anything and asked me to contact Apple Support. But Apple Support doesnt solve the issue as well and asked me to contact the game dev. I guess i will need to wait for next update to see whether this issue will finally solve or not.

I’d like to create a button on my iPhone Home Screen that changes settings if I am using an external lens mounted to my phone. This is what I have along with notes on what I hope to do. But it does not work. I am only able to open either the camera settings or the camera preserve settings but nothing will toggle macro controls. Hello all, I have an application that uses broadcast extension of Replay kit to record the entire screen and mic sound to a file on iOS. Up until some months ago, everything was smooth. Currently I am facing the following issue. If another app uses the microphone, then I loose the sound and never comes back. In order to debug this issue I have added a log to the processSampleBuffer, that logs a text each time it receives a .audioMic buffer type. I start the recording and everything works as expected. Later on, I go onto an app that uses microphone, and then I do not get any log for audioMic. I stop the recording on that app, but the sound never comes back. This as a result makes my video file to not have any sound at all. In the above context I also noticed that even with Photos app broadcast extension, if you start recording a video, and you go to Speech to text feature of the keyboard, then the sound is joined. While the STT is on, there is no sound and the sound of whatever comes after STT stops is joined to the sound before the STT starts, so I guess that this is something general. Also on the same research I did, I saw that google Meet app does not allow any microphone to be used from another app while you are in a meet (Even the STT is grayed out). I would like to know my options here. What can I do to have a valid video file with sound? How can I not allow other apps to use the microphone while my app is recording? Is there any entitlement? How does Google Meet do that? P.S. I have added an observer to observe the interruptions for the session and the type .began runs, but the type .ended does not, so I can not actually set the AVAudioSession to active again.

After upgrading to iOS system 26, the local name broadcast type is 08, but before upgrading, it is 09 and will be included in the scan resp message; In version 26, the scan resp will also include Manufacturer Specific Data. Before the upgrade, the broadcast message may not necessarily include Manufacturer Specific Data; What I want to ask is, are there any restrictions on Bluetooth broadcasting in version 26? Is it necessary to include Manufacturer Specific Data data? If Manufacturer Specific Data data is included, it may cause fields in the local name broadcast to be truncated and use simple names of type 08

First and foremost they don't give you a set timeline and there is no contact number to speak to someone about this. When you call developer support they go on and say it is a different department. The last couple of days ago, I tried to taste iOS 26. It’s a really awesome experience as an iOS user. But there were some issues that appeared when I was playing the games. So I downgraded to iOS 18.5. My phone is 13, and I checked my model number and downloaded 18.5 firmware from Apple user's well-known website and carefully making the downgrading process. After hours later I already got back 18.5, and I confess, the user experience is very different between iOS 26 and 18.5. The main problem is there, when I make phone calls with my friends and I notice my recent call history is empty. So I try to fix it the ways from YouTube videos. It doesn’t work. I tried to change the region and restart my phone. It doesn’t work, and I tried to syns with iCloud also doesn’t work. Hi all, I’m not a developer, but I’m hoping someone with iOS system or network experience can help me understand some very persistent and unusual behavior on my iPhone. I’ve gathered system logs and app-level diagnostics and would really appreciate insight from anyone familiar with daemons, VPN tunnels, or MDM behavior on Apple platforms. Summary of Issues Over Time March 2025: Most apps begin logging out automatically when closed April 2025: Passwords across apps and browsers begin failing May–June 2025: Gmail password reset emails stop arriving (even though other email works) These symptoms suggest something affecting secure sessions, DNS routing, or background data handling. I began running diagnostics and found unexpected system and network behaviors: Examples: com.apple.mobile.lockdown.remote.trusted file_relay.shim.remote pcapd.shim.remote webinspector.shim.remote bluetooth.BTPacketLogger.shim.remote On a normal, non-jailbroken device, I wouldn't expect so many .shim.remote or .diagnostic services to be active. Is this expected on iOS 18.5? The binary /usr/sbin/scutil appears to be missing. This breaks commands like: scutil --dns scutil --proxy scutil --nc list On a standard iOS device, is it even possible for scutil to be removed or disabled? App Behavior and Config Locking (Cloudflare WARP Log) From the logs of the Cloudflare WARP app (not enterprise-managed): The app repeatedly forces VPN tunnels to reconnect or restart by injecting dummy URLs (force OS to restart the network extension process). It tries to load policy configuration from MDM and Teams APIs (even though no MDM appears in Settings). Many config items are marked as: locked: true, visible: true including: DNS logs Fallback DNS Trusted WiFi settings The account is labeled as: WarpAccountRole.child which may explain some restrictions — but I’ve never set this manually. This seems more advanced than what the standard WARP app does. Could a provisioning profile or side-loaded config be applying these? Key Questions for the Community Are ~50 remote diagnostic services (.shim.remote) normal on iOS 18.5 stock devices? Could a VPN app (e.g. WARP) or hidden config enforce flow-switching across interfaces like ipsec, awdl, and pdp_ip, even when not visibly active? Can a provisioning profile or managed config enable services like file_relay, pcapd, or webinspector silently — without any visible MDM profile? Has anyone seen scutil or other network tools missing on a stock iPhone? What could cause this? Does WARP in MASQUE mode normally lock DNS settings and force tunnel restarts — or could this indicate tampering? If anyone on iOS 18.5 / iPhone17,1 can share their remotectl_dumpstate output, I'd love to compare. Happy to share sanitized logs or run more tests if helpful. Okay… help me out, I’m behind on the times. Upgraded to the 26 beta from … honestly I think I was still using 16-something? And I’m wondering where the photo markup feature went? To be clear, I’m referring to the ability to write on a photo or screenshot from the Photos app by clicking “Edit”, then “Markup”. Is it gone or am I overlooking it? And do forgive me if this feature has been gone for a while already—as I mentioned, it’s been a while since I bothered with an iOS update. (So far, I definitely liked the version I was on previously much more!)
