Hi all, after installing ios 18.4 beta here in Europe (and also resetting and restoring my iphone given Apple Intelligence features were not working at all initially) my phone decided to reoptimise my whole photo library which took a while and I understand it was a battery consuming process. Nonetheless, this is all done, all Apple intelligence features supposedly work and my phone is still in ongoing device setup burning through the battery to the point I am sure this will make my battery health drop.
does anyone know what is going on (indexing?), how long it will take and why is it happening? Is it because of the 18.4 beta or because of having Apple Intelligence for the first time?
can someone please confirm that at the very least this will NOT have to take place again after moving to the official 18.4?

I encountered some issues while developing a Vision Pro program using Unity. After binding an ARAnchor to a game object, I overlapped the virtual game object with a real-world cup. However, when I moved around with the Vision Pro on, the virtual game object shifted, causing the real-world cup and the virtual object to no longer coincide. Is there a way to solve this?

I am experiencing an issue where USB audio input (e.g., external USB microphone) is blocked when using AirPlay screen mirroring from my iPhone to a Mac or Apple TV. However, the built-in microphone continues to work without any problem.
Issue Details:
I am using an iPhone 15 (or latest device) running iOS [your iOS version].
I connect a USB audio interface/microphone via a USB-C adapter or Lightning adapter.
The USB microphone works perfectly for audio input before starting AirPlay.
The moment I enable AirPlay screen mirroring, the USB microphone stops working, and it disappears from available audio input sources.
The built-in microphone continues to function, but I cannot use the USB microphone while mirroring.
When I stop screen mirroring, the USB microphone immediately becomes available again.
Expected Behavior:
I would expect iOS to allow me to continue using an external USB microphone while mirroring my screen, just like it allows the built-in microphone to work.
Questions:
Is this an intentional restriction in iOS?
Is there any workaround to enable USB audio input while using AirPlay screen mirroring?
Is there a way to request a feature or configuration option to allow external USB microphones during AirPlay?
I appreciate any insights or guidance from the Apple team or fellow developers. Thanks in advance!

While we are uploading our App in TestFlight for external testing then after 1 minute we are getting invalid binary issue. Issues have been mentioned below.

We are developing a social media application that allows users to share and view content in the form of images and videos. The app is built with Angular and Ionic, and we use Capacitor to integrate native functionalities.
Currently, we are experiencing an issue with content loading on iOS devices. Specifically, when the iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi, videos load quickly and play smoothly. However, when using mobile data, videos take a long time to load or, in some cases, do not load at all.
We are trying to identify the cause of the issue and determine whether it could be related to Xcode configuration or any system restrictions. Some potential reasons we have considered include:
iOS Mobile Data Usage Restrictions
iOS may limit mobile data usage for large downloads or streaming content if the app does not have the proper permissions.
In Settings > Mobile Data, users can restrict data usage for specific apps.
App Transport Security (ATS) Configuration
Xcode and iOS enforce strict security policies for network connections through App Transport Security (ATS).
If the API serving the videos uses HTTP instead of HTTPS or has restrictive headers, this could affect loading over mobile networks.
Xcode Network Usage Settings
Xcode allows configurations related to network access. There might be a setting limiting access to mobile networks when the device is not on Wi-Fi.
Video Quality and Adaptability Differences
If videos are not optimized for mobile networks (e.g., high-quality formats without adaptive versions), loading times could be significantly longer.
Implementing HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) could improve playback on slower networks.
Request Timeout Issues

Our app provides configuration and maintenance features for Siemens electrical devices. The app supports multiple devices and the devices have their own specific features, which also need to be supported by our App.
The devices can be released to the market only when our app supports those features.
Our app release timeline is once in every 4 months. We face a challenge when some of these devices are not able to deliver their features by our release time.
So, we would like to make these devices plugins, which can be independently released, without releasing the App every time. The app would, of course, be released once in every 4 months, depending on the common features.
I'm not able to find how to release only the plugins within the app, without releasing the entire app.
Some one has suggested app extensions, but that does not fit our solution as in some cases, we need continuous polling of data from one or mode devices for minutes or hours, as the app can be used by the user to monitor some of the device values.

Issue with Heart Rate Graph from Apple Watch in iOS App
Hello Community!
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm developing an iOS app that includes a feature to display a graph of the heart rate recorded during a route using the Apple Watch.
Current Implementation
I have successfully implemented data collection and transfer from the Apple Watch to the iPhone.
The app's main UI correctly displays the user's real-time BPM.
When the user stops the route, an analysis view is generated, showing speed and altitude (both work perfectly).
Expected Behavior
The user starts recording a route while monitoring heart rate.
After tapping "Stop Route," an analysis view should display a heart rate graph along with speed and altitude data.
Issue Encountered
Despite multiple attempts, I have not been able to properly generate the heart rate graph.
The only result I have achieved so far is a flat line with points representing the recorded BPM over time, instead of a proper graph.
Request for Help
If anyone has experience implementing a similar feature, I would appreciate any guidance on correcting my implementation.
I can share:
The file responsible for graph visualization.
The file handling data processing after the user stops the route.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Summary

Unable to select the desired build in App Store Connect; clicking on the build has no effect.
Steps to reproduce:
1.I select my app
2.I choose which build to add
3.I try to select the build
Expected result: I should be able to select the build

After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty.
Bugs ?
Passpoint connections are established and function correctly, with network communication unimpeded. However, a display issue where the SSID field is blank is present on macOS versions 13 through 15 inclusive. This issue persists even when utilizing connection profiles created with Apple Configurator.

I'm trying to publish my app, but I'm constantly getting rejected by Apple. They're telling me I'm having issues with tracking user data.
This item has been rejected for the following reasons:
5.1.2 Legal: Privacy - Data Use and Sharing
I've indicated that I don't use this data for ads, that it's only used for personalization and to understand who saves items.
I added the NSUserTrackingUsageDescription property to the info.plist.
I run AppTrackingTransparency.requestTrackingAuthorization() when the user logs into the app, displaying a warning message.
I'd say I meet all the requirements they've set for me, but they still haven't approved my app. What do you recommend? How can I speak to a physical person who can help me?

March 2025. I’ve reached a point where so much about the Apple ecosystem is broken that I have stopped caring. My lights stopped working properly in HomeKit shortly after the last update. They work in the Wiz native app but not HomeKit. Device automations are now spotting and random; bad when they are alarms. When Apple was less, it was more. I have an iPhone 12 and see no reason to upgrade. Why pay a premium for suboptimal products and services. Anyone notice that calls to Apple Support are now fielded by non-professionals? I’ve asked. Just random applicants, typing my question(s) into Safari for solutions. No idea why government is getting cut when private is t any better. Humans are on a downward slope.

I am a new user here, I have created my apple developer account and purchased an apple developer membership for a year. I have received my web order details and also the invoice few days ago but when I try to go to App Store Connect it won't let me in. I have contacted the apple developer support 3 days ago but I did not received any response yet. It's frustrating. I do not know much how to navigate on these apple products and devices so I am kind of lost here. Your help or advice, would be greatly appreciated.
Btw, I believed I have already enrolled in this apple developer membership because every time I tried to click enrol it leads me to another purchase membership page which I have already paid, so I ended up clicking the withdraw membership instead of clicking the purchase tab.
