Any updates on Carplay not connecting to IOS 18? Mine was perfectly fine until I went from an iPhone 11 without the update to a 16. Now connection is spotty and I constantly have to forget and repair my phone.

Hello, I was using ios 18 and I realized that sound cuts out for 1 second for example when I listen to spotify, whenever my phone gets in sleep mode or it wakes up the sound cuts for 1 second or should i better say it goes from 100% to 0% and then after a second from 0% to 100%. I looked up on Internet and people were saying to turn off low battery mode or to turn on background apps, but that was not a problem in my case. As i was frustrated I downgraded to ios 17.7 and clearly there was no problem anymore. If anyone is able to find the fix, it would be wonderful. But maybe I should just stick to ios 17.7 even tough it doesn't have the features of ios 18 which are amazing.

About 3 weeks ago, when I start filling in a form on my app, I would get the "hide my email" feature. That is supposed to be a feature of iCloud+ which I do not have. Anyone come across this and know how to turn it off without signing up for iCloud+ ?

I could use apple intelligence on my previous iPhone 15 Pro Max but after switching to iPhone 16 Pro Max, apple intelligence was not able to work. I kept the same Apple ID, these two phone are from the same region(Singapore) and I have turned on apple intelligence. And they were both iOS beta software, I just upgraded to 18.1beta7

After updating to iOS 18, I noticed my screen time skyrocketing. Taking a deeper look, I saw that the last application I used before turning off the phone for the night keeps running even though the phone is off. Anybody else experienced this?

As I want to use my phone with static IP address, I apply Manual IP address setting. However, the setting is changed to Auto setting without any trigger. At that time, manual IP address which I have set is disappeared. It is reproducible several times a day. I have 4 devices and all has experiences of this phenomenon. The phone is used just Wi-Fi and it doesn't have SIM card. Do you have any idea why this unintentional change occurs? Device: iPhone14, iPhone SE 3rd iOS: 16 ,17 Regards.

Did the above, it prepared update, showed 7GB then hung. restarted phone, now at hello/swipe up screen the PIN number screen flashes up then goes back to hello/swipe up left with phone I can’t login and a ‘installed’??? bets 2 but can’t use phone

Hello, macOS 15 and iOS 18 bring the iPhone Mirroring & the seamless drag and drop feature. However, Apple made these features unavailable in the EU. How can we as macOS developers in the EU test these features? For more context, we develop a software product that is distributed worldwide and we have development and testing teams located in the EU. Hi, I upgraded my phone to 16 pro which came with ios 18 Installed. This new hardware & software stopped working my CarPlay system. When connected to usb C , it connects briefly and disconnects. Don’t hold the. Carplay connection.

I have a 15 pro max Recently updated to iOS 18. It was fine for a few days. Randomly it switched in the car during navigation while on carplay. The same day the device displayed 1% battery when it was full and said on the screen non genuine battery was detected, the phone is still original it's not even a year old. Now it switches itself off and won't turn on despite being on charge and doing the soft reset mechanisms. This was the regular version of iOS 18 released to the general public recently. After updating my iPad 11 Pro to iOS 18, Apple’s email client now refuses to honor the self signed certificate I use for my IMAP server with the error ‘Unable to create a secure connection to the server ("bad certificate format" -9,808).’ Clients on other platforms such as Android, Windows, Linux and Solaris work fine. iOS 17 email accepted the certificate chain without error. I imported my CA root certificate into the iOS trust store and enabled root certificate trust for it, and still cannot get past this error. The certificates were generated with OpenSSL utilities version 1.1.1w. Anyone have insight into a more detailed meaning for that error code, or a pointer to a tool that will identify what is offensive with my certificate to iOS. This is a high priority for me. Thanks.

Here's what I do: I have a folder on my Synology called "Public/Photos/JPGs" where I have folders with all of my JPGs. I use the Apple Mac "Photos" app to manage all of my photos. I store my Photos library (Photos Library.photoslibrary) on a 2TB SSD drive that's formatted as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" I then sync my photos to my iPad and iPhone using finder. So I THINK that my Synology plays no part in the sync. I think it's just pulling my photos from the SSD. This used to work fine, but I haven’t been able to sync with iOS and iPadOS 18.1 (have tried it with ALL of the Betas). Does the new iOS require a different file format or something? Any ideas?!

Anyone seen this where it won't allow you to sync old iMessages from your previous backup, or set up your new Apple Watch Ultra 2 or use Apple Wallet? Only fix it shows is to delete 18.7 GB of my iMessages. Would rather not do that. Under your name> Some iCloud Data Isn't Syncing> Resume Data Sync > Enter iPhone Passcode (accepted)> Couldn't Sync iCloud Data> Cancel or Delete iCloud Data> Delete iCloud Data then shows Messages 18.7 GB and Health 200.3 MB. Any ideas? On current Dev Beta on 16 Pro Max. Apple Support had never seen this before and pointed ne to Dev side.

Right now I’m really trying to get involved with App Store Connect / TestFlight so I can try out other developers apps and software really willing to try out anything for IOS. Im real interested in Security, Data wipe, encryption, AI, Reverse Image Search softwar, Facial Recognition software and many more. However until I’m educated enough to join Apple developer program I’m having issues finding TestFlight links that work any suggestion? Thanks all for readin!
