In the actual development, I found that I could not complete the setting of my icloud+ customised email domain name SMTP.
I tried to configure the SMTP of iCloud custom email according to Apple's document (https://support.apple.com/en-us/102525) but the error
I looked through Apple's support file, but I didn't find the specific configuration of iCloud + customised email SMTP.

Hi,
Visual Intelligence doesn't work for my screenshot.
Does anyone know why? I'm in Greece, maybe it's the region, or something to set up?
Thanks

I’d like to create a button on my iPhone Home Screen that changes settings if I am using an external lens mounted to my phone.
This is what I have along with notes on what I hope to do. But it does not work. I am only able to open either the camera settings or the camera preserve settings but nothing will toggle macro controls.
There is an additional step within the camera app as well but it can be skipped for brevity.
Name: Telephoto and macro lenses
Check if macro settings are already enabled or not. (Settings > Camera > Macro Control toggle) as well as (Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings > Macro Control toggle)
Non-working shortcut code:
Verification question: "Are you using an external lens?"
If yes,
Notification: "Turning on Macro Control and preserve settings for macro control." (Run below immediately)
prefs:root=CAMERA&path=Turn%20On%20Macro_Control
And
prefs:root=CAMERA&path=CameraPreserveSettingsSwitch&path=Turn%20On%20Macro_Control
If no,
Notification: "Turning off Macro Control and Preserve Settings for macro control." (Run below immediately)
prefs:root=CAMERA&path=Turn%20Off%20Macro_Control
And
prefs:root=CAMERA&path=CameraPreserveSettingsSwitch&path=Turn%20Off%20Macro_Control
I’ve updated to iOS 26 Beta 1, and now I can’t revert to an earlier version because my iPhone automatically created a backup using the iOS 26 version. I’m also unable to check for updates—my device can’t retrieve information from the server, so it’s not detecting that Beta 2 is available. I need help resolving this issue, please.

My app works perfectly the first time it is used but when returning to the start after playing the game and playing another it does some random things.
I figure it is because the app still retains the previous game in it’s memory allocation?
My question is, what is the best way programmatically to have an app start fresh and not have to quit it and open it again?
I have a flutter application with Firebase token and it is working in my local as expected I loaded my application to Appstore but it is not working, can anyone help me for fix the issue.
Thank you
Dear Apple Support Team,
I am writing to request clarification regarding paid service eligibility for my iPhone 14 Pro outside its original country of purchase.
Here are the details of my device:
Model: iPhone 14 Pro
Serial Number: J346337TKY
Purchase Date: December 2022
Current Location: Astana, Kazakhstan
Warranty Status: Expired
I recently visited an Apple Authorized Service Provider in Kazakhstan, and I was informed that my device could not be accepted for repair due to regional restrictions, even on a paid basis.
I would appreciate your assistance in confirming whether my device qualifies for paid repair service in Kazakhstan, or if it is strictly limited to service in its country of origin. If not eligible, could you please advise on the nearest country or region where I can receive authorized service?
Looking forward to your guidance on the next steps.
Best regards,
Ruslan D

How long was it between putting your first app on the App Store (that had a paid component to it like IAPs) and getting your first sale? I'm working on an app at the moment that I plan on putting up for a small one time fee. I'm curious to know what people's different experiences were with this.
What was your app and how did it go?
I want to install tesseract in order to get OCR feature in ChatGPT.
Tesseract install requires the use of HomeBrew on macOS
But I am using macOS 15.5 and the version of HomeBrew is not compatible.
When tying to install Tasseract, old version of HomeBrew is detected and HomeBrew starts updating automatically.
The process goes fine until the download of the jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz component. SHA256 mismatch is detected and the update process stops.
But the downloaded jpegsrc.v9d.tar.gz doesn't seem to be corrupted. Maybe an error of the expected SHA256?
Any help is welcome that would enable me to complete the HomeBrew update process.
Many thanks in advance for your support.

Some users of my app complain that it stops responding to touch after a while. The screen is still updating, and the app seems to be working normally otherwise. It just doesn't respond to any touches anymore.
It is not a problem with the touchscreen itself, because the user is able to swipe up to get to the home screen, and then interact with other apps as normal. When re-opening my app, it is still unresponsive to touch.
The only way to solve it, is to restart the app.
Does anybody have a similar experience, and knows what could cause it?
The app is based on UIKit, and still written in Objective-C, if it matters. The iOS version involved does not seem to matter, it happened with a couple of them.

Hi all,
I’m not a developer, but I’m hoping someone with iOS system or network experience can help me understand some very persistent and unusual behavior on my iPhone. I’ve gathered system logs and app-level diagnostics and would really appreciate insight from anyone familiar with daemons, VPN tunnels, or MDM behavior on Apple platforms.
Summary of Issues Over Time
March 2025: Most apps begin logging out automatically when closed
April 2025: Passwords across apps and browsers begin failing
May–June 2025: Gmail password reset emails stop arriving (even though other email works)
These symptoms suggest something affecting secure sessions, DNS routing, or background data handling. I began running diagnostics and found unexpected system and network behaviors:
Examples:
com.apple.mobile.lockdown.remote.trusted
file_relay.shim.remote
pcapd.shim.remote
webinspector.shim.remote
bluetooth.BTPacketLogger.shim.remote
On a normal, non-jailbroken device, I wouldn't expect so many .shim.remote or .diagnostic services to be active. Is this expected on iOS 18.5?
The binary /usr/sbin/scutil appears to be missing.
This breaks commands like:
scutil --dns
scutil --proxy
scutil --nc list
On a standard iOS device, is it even possible for scutil to be removed or disabled?
App Behavior and Config Locking (Cloudflare WARP Log)
From the logs of the Cloudflare WARP app (not enterprise-managed):
The app repeatedly forces VPN tunnels to reconnect or restart by injecting dummy URLs (force OS to restart the network extension process).
It tries to load policy configuration from MDM and Teams APIs (even though no MDM appears in Settings).
Many config items are marked as:
locked: true, visible: true
including:
DNS logs
Fallback DNS
Trusted WiFi settings
The account is labeled as:
WarpAccountRole.child
which may explain some restrictions — but I’ve never set this manually.
This seems more advanced than what the standard WARP app does. Could a provisioning profile or side-loaded config be applying these?
Key Questions for the Community
Are ~50 remote diagnostic services (.shim.remote) normal on iOS 18.5 stock devices?
Could a VPN app (e.g. WARP) or hidden config enforce flow-switching across interfaces like ipsec, awdl, and pdp_ip, even when not visibly active?
Can a provisioning profile or managed config enable services like file_relay, pcapd, or webinspector silently — without any visible MDM profile?
Has anyone seen scutil or other network tools missing on a stock iPhone? What could cause this?
Does WARP in MASQUE mode normally lock DNS settings and force tunnel restarts — or could this indicate tampering?
If anyone on iOS 18.5 / iPhone17,1 can share their remotectl_dumpstate output, I'd love to compare.
Happy to share sanitized logs or run more tests if helpful. Thank you for any insights — especially from those familiar with internal services, VPN frameworks, or supervised profiles.

I use DeviceActivityCenter to monitor app usage.
For DeviceActivityEvent, I set 30 events, and the threshold of each event increases by 2 minutes:
var events: [DeviceActivityEvent.Name: DeviceActivityEvent] = [:]
for index in 0..<30 {
let threshold = (index == 29)
? DateComponents(hour: 1)
: DateComponents(minute: (index + 1) * 2)
let name = DeviceActivityEvent.Name("\(prefix)|\(index)")
events[name] = DeviceActivityEvent(applications: tokens, threshold: threshold)
}
After reaching the last DeviceActivityEvent, I will restart directly in DeviceActivityMonitor
private func restartMonitoring(activity: DeviceActivityName) {
let center = DeviceActivityCenter()
let currentEvents = center.events(for: activity)
do {
try center.startMonitoring(activity, during: schedule, events: currentEvents)
} catch {
print("Fail: \(error)")
}
}
But I found that after restarting, DeviceActivityEvent will be automatically executed even if I don't use the app.
My iOS version is 18.5
I am trying to connect to a google worksheet with a service account and have added the GoogleAPIClientForRest (Drive and Sheets) and GTMSessionFetcher (Core) dependencies to my project. However, this code
import GoogleAPIClientForRESTCore
import GTMSessionFetcherCore
func test() {
let x = GTLRServiceAccountCredentials.self
let y = GTLRAuthorizer.self
print("Classes Found")
}
I get the the following errors: Cannot find "GTLRServiceCredentials' in scope and Cannot find 'GTLRAuthorizer' in scope.
The dependencies are listed in the Link Binary with Libraries section.
I have am using the latest versions of OS and Xocod and have reinstalled both to try and resolve this issue with no luck.
I'm trying to make my own MDM server and I'm having trouble allowing nginx to proxy the connection. The web app I'm making can accept http requests so I require nginx. I'm using a certificate from letsencrypt. Every time I try to enroll a phone it instantly rejects at nginx. I have tried multiple cipher options in nginx.
I found the following link and my cert supports all except the DHE ones but they say you only need 1. (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/128482?answerId=404052022#404052022)
What else can I do?

I have been waiting for a week for subscription confirmation, the money was withdrawn from my card, invoice came, but for a week already the status is pending, and also on the site writes complete your purchase now. What to do?
If I have, say a doctor appointment in the Calendar app, and I'm leaving to go to it, the address will appear in Apple Maps on CarPlay. Forgive if I'm getting the details wrong, but I believe if I bring up the Map, it will be available to tap on, so I can quickly go there. I think it may also show up on one on the car-play screens that shows a few different panels.

I am having trouble passing custom data in an array with a navigation stack. I want to display a subview with the same data structure (title, headline, picture placement etc), with different data attached for each of my list view items
Hello Devs,
I wanted to bring this up to display the frustration that I have obtaining the CarPlay entitlements. First and foremost they don't give you a set timeline and there is no contact number to speak to someone about this. When you call developer support they go on and say it is a different department. There is an email but all I have received is an automated response back to me.
Has anyone received the navigation entitlements and if so what was the timeline of you receiving it?
Hello developers,
My question isn't directly related to app or software development, but this seems to be the most appropriate channel to possibly find the information I need.
Context
I work for an automotive company and I'm currently looking for Apple CarPlay certification guidelines.
We're in the process of installing a multimedia system in a vehicle. The most viable solution would be to use the multimedia unit and microphone provided by our supplier, but with a custom wiring harness developed by our company to simplify the installation process. The multimedia unit, microphone, and the supplier’s harness are already certified for CarPlay.
Question
Would using our company’s custom wiring harness affect the existing CarPlay certification of the supplier’s product?
Any information, contact, or suggestion on where I could find official guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
