Overnight Notification Center message, "bash was prevented from modifying apps"
Wake up this morning and see this very concerning sticky message in Notification Center: bash was prevented from modifying apps It didn't say what parent program called `bash' so I clicked on the N.C. message to see if there was more information and it just disappeared (as if I had chosen to click on the X to clear the message-I wish I had taken a screenshot first). I have already sent in a request to Apple for them to give more detailed information on events like this. If there is an existing threat on a device it needs to be removed. The only thing that I know of that happened overnight was a SPAM email from "Norton Antivirus" came into my Gmail Inbox that wasn't filtered as SPAM and macOS announced it in Notification Center. I don't see anything funny in the RAW data of the email - and reported it to spamcop. Is it possible that a malicious email could contain html code that runs when it's announced via macOS Notification Center?

Storage
I just tried to update to iOS 18.... Stated I needed to free up storage... I did..... Attempted to download the update it stopped halfway because now the update has taken up all the space and now telling me I need 11gb more which basically is me deleting everything off my phone as I've already deleted the original amount they asked before the update started. At this point stop updating the iOS because it's just a sham to make people buy more storage space

IOS18 and Car Play do not work
I am INCREDIBLY frustrated after I updated to ios18 and my car play immediately stopped functioning properly. I have an iPhone 13 and I drive a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox Premiere. It will not allow my Spotify and any map application to co-exist. It reboots constantly, and sometimes even makes a horrible sound like a helicopter being right over head. I have tried everything - changing the cord, restarting my phone, updating all the apps, I even reset ALL of my network settings, and nothing has helped. It is not just frustrating and inconvenient - but DANGEROUS as when I'm driving I cannot see the maps or it just shuts down. PLEASE HELP!

is there anyone else having issues with the AirPods Max 2024 refresh using Siri?
I bought the new refreshed AirPods Max 2024 on pre-release day and ever since I got them in has been messed up when using the AirPods Max. Sometimes it’ll work sometimes it won’t. it started while I was on the 18.1 beta which I figured was probably the issue but now I’m on the 18.1 RC and it is still doing it. It’s not the new Siri because it’s not working with old Siri either most of the time. Sometimes it won’t even let me use my microphone when connected or read any of my notifications out loud.

Cant Backup IPhone with iOS 18.1 Beta 6
It tells me I should create a backup before updating to iOS 18 .1 Beta 6, because Beta 5 crashed every 5 minutes. But I cant create a backup because my device isnt showing up in iCloud on my Windows PC. I have troubleshooted, reconnected, restarted, used different cables multiple times. It is not showing up, not even asking for "Do you want to trust this PC?". Im starting to lose my mind

How to Resolve “Please Contact Your Company Administrator” Error on a Refurbished iPad
Message: Hello, I recently bought a refurbished iPad on BackMarket, a marketplace similar to Amazon. This iPad was previously owned by a company, but it has no MDM (Mobile Device Management) restrictions. When I tried to trade it in at an Apple Store, the staff encountered an error message saying, “Please contact an administrator of your company,” which blocked the trade-in process. I’m puzzled as to why this issue is occurring, especially since the device doesn’t seem to be under any MDM control. Apple Support wasn’t able to assist, and both Apple’s Technical Service and the Apple Enterprise Support have said they can’t help either—even though I can prove ownership with my purchase invoice. Maybe I chatted with some lazy employee, which happened several times, when pushing I could always go further into solving problems. Is there a specific service or procedure for removing this iPad from the company’s list of associated devices? Any guidance would be appreciated! Thank you.

Guideline 1.3 - Safety - kids Category. Your app implements the App Tracking Traspoarency
Apple's review team informed us that we are using the ATT framework, but when we analyzed the IPA package using MobSF, the LIBRARIES section did not include the AppTrackingTransparency.framework and AdSupport.framework, nor the NSUserTrackingUsageDescription field. A global search also did not reveal this information. How should I resolve this issue? Regarding the "1.3.0 Safety: Kids Category" issue, I would like to ask if you could provide us with technical support. We didn't use ATT in our code, nor did we declare NSUserTrackingUsageDescription in the info.plist. When uploading the package, there was no feedback indicating the need to declare NSUserTrackingUsageDescription. We used the commands grep -r AdSupport ., grep -r advertisingIdentifier ., and find . -type f -exec grep -il "appTrackingTransparency" {} + to search the entire project, but did not find any related frameworks. We've tried many methods but still can't determine where the AppTrackingTransparency framework is being used. package.json Podfile.txt

Toggle button for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) missing in iPhone
Toggle button for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) missing in iPhone. Instead of Toggle button for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) in iPhone ,a grayed out text appears if the other Apple device is logged in to iCloud after the primary iPhone. Messages in iCloud are switched On for all devices, and all devices are on latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS. iMessage is also On. The toggle button appears for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) in iPhone against any device logged in to Apple account in the following conditions: 1.) the iPhone is restored as new and logged on to the iCloud ID, after the other Apple device was logged in to iCloud with same ID. In other words, the iPhone under consideration and its Messages in iCloud are logged on in the last out of all other Apple devices (iPad, macBook, any other iPhone); or 2.) the messages in iCloud is toggled "Off" in the respective other Apple device. Perhaps the above condition (2) is emanating out of the Apple support article https://support.apple.com/en-in/102545, but the condition at (1) definitely does not seem to have any basis. The behaviour at (1) seems a bug.
